I would say that is average in the U.S. also. My first one was 8 lbs 13 oz or roughly 3.6 kg. It sounded big but she was so skinny. She was 21 inches long though so that is why she weighed so much. My son was 7 lbs 13 oz or about 3.2 kg but he was 2 weeks early since I had high blood pressure. He was so tiny I had to buy newborn clothes for him since the 0-3 month closes were way too big. He was only 19.5 in long. He is still stubby. 🙂 @ruby3881 You had a nice sized baby at 4 kg. That is what I was when I was born as well. My sisters were a little bit smaller.

One that I see I have never seen any comments or posts by them and there are 4 I think that do not have profile pics and they do not say who they are when you hover on the profile either. So I am wondering if maybe they have left and their accounts have been closed. I think I have seen one person in the forums that is now anonymous but it did not used to be that way. Maybe they closed their account as well. I do not know but I am sure that the admin and support have other things to attend to. @grecy I am glad you are here. You have been missed my dear. I hope your job is going good and you are making lots of money. Now that it is the weekend, I am sure you will be in here more. 🙂 |

@ruby3881 I think you are right there have not been any published. I just published my second one for the day. I hope they will be published tomorrow. I want to write another one today and get it submitted tonight. I hope they publish a bunch of new ones soon so that we have more to share. I do not want to keep sharing the same ones over and over. |

@JoDee Yes I also have swagbucks on my phone but I do not always get qualified for their surveys. I have used them for a while and did get paid once by them. The same with Inbox Dollars. I have them on my phone and every once in a while I will read the emails and get my 2 cents each. I have been using them the longest and have received payment from them several times. Although, I do not do the surveys since I never get any that I am qualified for. I have done the offers when it was something that I was going to do anyway or something that I have not signed up to before. I figure it is still money that I will eventually get so I keep doing it. I just wish the payment threshold was lower. |

I had thought of homeschooling my children, but I do not think that I would be able to do all that work. They need someone who has more discipline than I have right now or maybe it is just because I have a lot going on right now that it feels like I cannot get anything done. I know you will be able to accomplish all you need to do @kaka135 and still be able to visit here with us. |

That sounds like a good idea with the reward system. I think it helps all kids not just the ones with special needs. Why do they quit doing this at a certain grade. Mine had this sort of thing in the lower grades but not now. Even as adults we need incentives to work better and harder. That is why we get paychecks and such. Kids do not think of grades in the same way we do and ones with special needs need short term incentives and feedback. My daughter has blossomed this year but not with her grades. She has become more confident and seems much happier in school this year versus the other 4 years. I have watched her turn into a mature 10 year old for the most part and I cannot believe that she is actually enjoying school and wanting to take part in the little concerts and programs that they put on. I am hoping next year my son will be challenged more because he gets bored in school so much. He is in 3rd grade but reads at nearly 7th grade and is at almost 6th grade math level. I think I am going to have him tested at the new school for placement. I do not want him to get discouraged in school and to not be bored with the work.

From everything that I have read on the other comments this site sounds like a really good one for writers. I wonder if the pay is good on there or not. I hope you have good luck there if you try it out. |

You are welcome @ruby3881 and thank you for saying that about my writing. I just do not feel that it is good enough but maybe after we get moved I will look into this site more. I just do not want to get into it and have deadlines right now. I hope you hear soon about your first article. |

If it was the number of comments and reactions, then I think @kaka135 should be listed as popular member for sure. Lol. I don’t really pay too much attention to anything on the home page since I just jump immediately to groups or blogs to see what is new here. |

@bestwriter I have not ever had jackfruit and do not even know if I can get them here in the US. What do they taste like? Are they sweet? Juicy? The outside almost looks like a kiwi or a very light green avocado. I would love to have a fruit tree that I could just go out and pick the fruit to eat or to make a dessert with. |

@melissa It makes me so mad when people act that way. I mean really it is not a real disorder? I got that reaction when my daughter was diagnosed with moderate clinical depression. I told the teachers and the principle about her problems because I wanted them to be aware of them when dealing with her. Her teacher said are you sure she has depression? Won’t she grow out of it? Well I have never grown out of my depression which is why I take medication as does both of my children. I try very hard to be patient with people who are ignorant of the things that can affect children and depression just happens to be one of them. Depression and anxiety go hand in hand with ADD/ADHD. My daughter has a hard time making friends too because she lacks confidence in her abilities which is another reason that she does poorly in school. Well I shouldn’t say she is does poorly because her grades are decent. She has not flunked anything yet. There is just not enough education about these disorders in children or adults for that matter. You cannot fathom what it is like unless you go through it. But they should not discount these children because they will succeed in whatever their talent is in. I hope the next school year is better for your daughter. I know it is rough because there is only so much you can do for them and as a parent it just never feels like enough. |

What is the basis for being a popular member? Is it a lot of activity, posts, or the number of visitors you have gotten? I always wonder when I am on the home page how they got to be the popular members. Now that you have asked I am anxious to know the answer. |

@melissa I hear you. On one hand I hate to get all these special accommodations for her because she does not like to stand out but I don’t want her to not get the education she needs. She goes out of the classroom once a day as well. It used to be twice if she needed to but the person that handled that type of work had to go down to part time since the school ran out of money. Another parent that I am friends with her child has ADHD and she was told that her child could not go out of the room because my daughter and her child are best friends and she figured they would just goof off. I am glad that they are not going to this school any longer. Sad thing is that I chose to put them in private school because of the public schools where I live are not good. I thought that paying for their education would give them a better one. But since I do not belong to the church they do not see them as worthy of the attention they need. I did not get her an IEP because I did not feel that she needed all that many accommodations and because I did not really know what I was doing. I will make sure at the next school that she gets what she needs. I do not think that she gets bullied as she is not the only one that goes out of the room, but then again maybe it is because she is not getting all these accommodations that she is supposed to have. I wanted her to be able to go off by herself when they had to read to themselves so she could read out loud to herself so she would get a better grasp on what she is reading since she is not interested in focusing on reading it silently. I doubt that has happened. I am glad that school is almost over with. I liked the principle that we had last year. He definitely had a zero tolerance for bullying. My son had problems with a bully in his class last year. He went to the principle and the principle talked to the ones that were causing him problems and then went in and talked to the whole class. The teacher knew this was going on but it wasn’t until I said something to her that she talked to the principle as well. I hate to feel like I am the parent that is always griping about something but I am not going to let them go through school not learning the way they need to and putting up with bullies.

My biggest money maker is PerkTV since I run it all the time and have it running on at least 3 devices all at the same time. I made $50 on it in April which was a good month for it. Normally, I make between $30-40 a month. I have been using this one for a while now. ShopKick is my next favorite and me and my daughter go Shopkicking nearly every weekend. |

@ruby3881 Sounds like a really good site. Not something that I would be able to do but maybe with a little more experience maybe. I am glad that you have found this avenue for your online earning. I know you will do well there. |
