It is expensive but I usually have the buyer pay for it. I have a few items on there now that are buy it now auctions and have tried to include the shipping in the list price so I can offer free shipping. It looks better if it can be listed that way. I have sold a couple of things that way but I think the regular auctions are better and I get more sold. I used to make really good money on there but now that the fees are bigger and it varies from one category to another one. Then there are the PayPal fee. I need to get busy and start listing a bunch of things on there to get them out of the house.

I just do not like to ship big items because it just seems too inconvenient for me. I do not want to get boxes and packing materials for them either. I stick to things that fit into the different size mailing envelopes and clothing I put in plastic mail envelopes so that helps keep shipping down. If I send something that can fit into a letter size bubble mailer and it weighs 1-2 ounces it will cost me $2.45 to ship because it is not in a regular letter envelope. It is just crazy and frustrating.

I do not watch Youtube very much unless I want to see a music video or something. I find it annoying to go on there and search for things. I will watch a tutorial if it is one that someone recommended to me. I just do not seem to have time to watch videos right now and just keep focused on working to earn money.

I hope the ones that you bought are not part of the recall. That is terrible but at least they are recalling them so more people will not get sick. It seems like you hear about recalls so much anymore. It makes you afraid to go to the grocery store. I am thankful that I have never had food poisoning.

@JoDee  I do  sell things on eBay and I usually do pretty good. I have gotten rid of quite a bit of things over the past few months because we are moving and I do not want to take it with us. I have only ever sold on eBay so I do not know how other sites are. I do not have a virtual store but I have thought about that before. I like to look for old toys and sell them on eBay. I had some vintage Polly Pocket toys that sold for quite a bit of money. I need to find more of them. I just do not sell anything that needs to be packed in a box just for the sake of not wanting to pack it and take it to the post office.

@bestwriter  That’s what I am thinking now. It does not make sense. Maybe they do not know what time it is in the US. Lol  Oh well I guess as long as they pay us that is all that matters, right? I mean I guess it does not matter but why not say where they actually are. I guess we will find out in a couple of days though.

I have been hearing so much about MyLot. I keep forgetting to check it out and see how it works out for me. I seem to be running out of time. I think I have too many sites going on that I try to keep up with. I would love to find another decent paying one. I did check out Textbroker US but I am not sure about it. I do not have an article to give them and I am not even sure what I would write for them. I do not have enough confidence yet either.

@melissa  I am sorry that your daughter has to go through that. It is not right. I had that included in her 504 about not having to do all the homework and just do the even or odd numbered math problems. There was one day she came home with over 40 math problems to do because her teacher forgot about the limit on it. So I told her to that she just needed to do one of each kind of the rest of the ones and wrote a note for the teacher.

Sometimes, I feel like I am just trying to get her special privileges and I feel like one of “those” moms that are constantly at the teacher and going ballistic about things. I keep telling myself just 7 more years of school. Like that makes if feel any better.

I really do hope your daughter has a better time next year and gets the extra help that she needs from her teachers. I have even played around with the idea of online schooling or homeschooling which at least then I would be able to guarantee that she will have the attention she needs.

@JoDee  I agree whatever will be, will be. It is a good way of looking at things because to sit here and try to figure out what others want especially if it is confusing because they say one thing and then give you a certain earning that does not seem to match up with what they have said they wanted. I just write it and then submit it if it gets high earnings fine if not then I will just keep sharing to make up.

@ruby3881  I have not read that one yet. I must have missed it or something. But maybe it got high earning because it was about FB and that is a hot topic.  I just had one of mine published that got me the most I have ever had too and I was quite shocked. Although the second part to it did not do as well but I will take it.  I think they do not know exactly what they want and just give out random earnings. 🙂

Welcome to LiteracyBase @Hettie. I think all of here have different methods of earning money online. I wish I had some marketable skill where I could earn enough to not need a full time job. I am still looking for work but I am going to be moving so that really isn’t an option right now. So I have doing some work online to give me a little bit to use for my expenses. I do a variety of things such as microjobs, surveys, forum posting, and PTC sites. I am also looking for more ideas to add to what I already do. I hope you find what you need and are able to market your skills.

@JoDee  That is what I did. It grosses me out when I have them and there is usually so many of them. I clean everything off my counter and window sill. They are usually crawling up the back splash and in the sink. I cleaned out the sinks and killed all of them that I could find. Then I sprayed the window above my sink and all along the back splash and I have not seen any more. I sometimes get them by the back door. I can never find where they are coming from the window area and it drives me crazy. I try to spray around my whole house outside to keep bugs and spiders out. My dog will take care of the flies in the house so I don’t have to worry about them. 🙂

Okay, so the time stamp on my comment was June 9th at 12 something am but my actual Eastern time is June 8th at 3:50 pm  So not sure how they’re on US time zones. They were fast on publishing my post today as well. I submitted it at around noon today and it was approved already when I logged on to the site at about 3 pm.

I did not think that the servers were on U.S. time either since many of the times are off. I will check like you said and see what the time stamp is in my history and I will report back to let everyone know what I found out. Our time can be confusing since not all states do the whole fall back/spring forward thing. I wish we did not since it is a pain in the neck.

@cely  I am a member of Inbox Dollars as well. I do not do it very often since I do not ever qualify for the surveys. So I just do the emails and if they have a new offer that is appealing to me I will do. I have been paid a few times from them. I wish they had a lower cash out threshold though. It would make it easier to cash out more often.

I am a single parent so I have all the say. Sometimes, it would be nice not to have the full responsibility to make all the decisions. I try to involve the kids and have them discuss why they think they should be able to do something. I also try to explain my reasons behind my decision. They do not always like the decision but they get over it and it is on to the next thing. It is a hard situation sometimes especially when I really need another person’s point of view. In that case, I talk to my sister who has actually helped me raise them since my oldest was about 3-4 years old. It is nice to have her whenever my daughter gets too out of control, I can just tell her to take care of  her “daughter.”

@manasi  Ayuwage is basically a PTC site but it has some ads that are higher pay. You have different tabs that have ads assigned to you for 10 minute intervals. You just click and follow the directions to earn your money. You can cash out at $5 via PayPal and a few other options. If you hold out for $10 cash out you get 300 free credits towards your next cash out. I really like this site and I have been paid several times.

Usability Hub is a site that pays you $0.10 a test. The tests are of websites that the designers want feedback on. Tests are all different such as a preference test where they show you two versions of a site or app and then you decide which one you like better. Sometimes they have questions for you to answer. They do not take long. It is a slow earner but I just keep the tab open and check it every now and then to see if there is a test. I have been paid once.
