@LeeKa  Once again you are bringing the news about something useful. You must be wonder woman. LOL This sounds great and I love simple to start out with. It helps to build my confidence that something is not as hard as I like to think everything is. I am going to check it out right now and see what will inspire me. Sometimes, finding a picture will inspire me to write a post and then I will get that done. I am such a procrastinator. But I will try hard and get it done. Thanks for the tip on the Pablo site.

I use Facebook, Pinterest, Stumbleupon, Twitter, and Google+.  I am not sure that they have been very helpful, but I am sure that it is going to take some time to get your following built up and are able to notice the difference. Facebook has been the best one so far for me since all my friends and family are on there. I am just getting into using Twitter. I have a nice following on Pinterest, but it is going to take some time to get it noticed on there, but it is free advertisement so I will keep on doing it. I hope you are getting some results from what you have been using. Google does not really do anything for me since I do not have anyone on there that I am in contact with.

@Grecy  That is the way I feel about bitcoins. I do not understand what they are for and why they are mined. I understand that you can turn them into cash, but the whole purpose of this type of currency. I guess it is like anything else that is new, it takes some getting used to. I think if I just plunge into something and work on it, it gets easier to understand. I like to do things to learn instead of reading about them. Sometimes, what I read does not make as much sense as when I am hands on doing whatever it is I am trying to learn.

@ruby3881  See this is why you are so awesome. A tutorial would be awesome. I just need to break it down into steps for myself in order to learn this and yes it would be great to see how many clicks you are getting. Thank you for all your help. It really is appreciated and I am trying to put it all to use.

I definitely love to have the book in my hand, but I do  like to read an ebook too. I like that you can download them to the Kindle app and the ones I download are free, so that is awesome. It is more convenient when you go someplace and to read them while away from home. I will read the ebooks while I am doing my PTC sites too. Downloading the free ones, I find some new authors that I might not have discovered.  But I still like the feeling of the book in my hand and being able to turn the page and the smell of the book is comforting as well.

I read The Hobbit a long time ago more than once. I have all the movies as well and feel that they did a pretty good job with it. I really like to read the books before the move and sometimes, I will not even watch the movie after I have read the books because I have a certain image in my mind about the characters and the actors they use to portray those characters do not fit with my image.

This happened with The Davinci Code and Angels & Demons by Dan Brown. I did not see Tom Hanks as Robert Langdon and was not able to watch the movie. I guess I am just weird that way. I feel that the books are usually way better than the movie since they have more details about the characters and the spirit of the author is in the book but the movies lack that element.

@dawnwriter  I have not read this book or even heard of it, but it sounds like an interesting read. I love finding out about books that I am not familiar with. I will put this on my list of books to read. The last book that I read that I would recommend is A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith. It is a very good story about a family living in Brooklyn in the early 1900’s. It is narrated by a child and it is from her point of view. All the struggles and the way she was able to overcome them when she got older. A very good read.

If you are into young adult books, I recommend the series starting with Miss Peregrine’s Home of Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs. There are 3 books to this series and they were so hard for me to put down. It is a great story about a boy who finds this “loop” where these peculiar children live with their guardians. It goes through the adventures and the fight between the peculiars and the ones who are trying to take over the human world. I did not want these books to end and I was able to relate to these characters.

Right now, I am reading The Time Machine by H. G. Wells. It is about a scientist who built a time machine and about his journey into the future. I think he travels to 3400 or something like that. I cannot remember the exact year. But he describes what the people are like and how he is trying to get back to his own time.

I love reading different types of books and have tons downloaded to my Kindle app on my phone. @Grecy I love the Chicken Soup for the Soul books. There are some very good stories in them and they can be inspiring.  Many of the stories make me cry and get me emotional, but I still like them. I have not read one in a while though.

Whoa, this is getting way over my head. It sounds like a lot of work to just share. I shared a couple of posts from the forums with the Share button at the end of the page and it included the referral part in the link already. I am going to try it with another site besides Twitter and see how that is. I am not on a lot of social media sites so I do not need to share on very many. I am glad that @suny is doing so well with his shares.

@LeeKa and @Grecy  I am also glad that @ruby3881 is here too. Great source of information and always willing to help. I am beginning to feel better about this site and am looking to expand my contributions to it as well. Now I just have to get a blog post going.

May 9, 2016 at 9:50 pm

So, I tried the share button at the bottom of the page and when you have your cursor on it a list of all the social media sites to share on. Then I chose Twitter and it made the window pop up to share and it had the whole link there including your referral link on it to share. So that is what I did on a couple of sites. I am going to try it with some other posts and some of the blogs. Hopefully this will make it easier for others to find out about Literacy Base and people’s blogs.

I suffer from anxiety as well as depression. I think mostly it goes hand in hand for most people. I know it does in my family anyway. When I was taking care of my mother and after I had my two children, I had bad problems with anxiety and I would have attacks. They are scary and they are hard to deal with on your own. The medication that I take for my depression also helps me to deal with the anxiety although there are certain situations that still bring on a high level of anxiety especially if I am under a great deal of stress.

@JoDee  I can completely relate to this topic. I have suffered with depression pretty much my whole life and yes, it is hereditary. Children of parents with depression have a great chance of being depressed. It is a chemical imbalance in the brain and many people do need medication to balance the chemicals properly so that you can feel better. I also have anxiety and this is sometimes typical in people who have depression. With all three of my pregnancies, I suffered from postpartum depression which increased in severity with each one. I had a miscarriage with my first pregnancy and that was the first experience with the postpartum although it was not until after the second one that I recognized it for what it was. I was lucky to have my sister around me to help me through it. But even so I was in it for nearly 3 years since I had another child and after the birth of my son, my depression was pretty bad.

It has been something that is hard to talk about because it brings back bad memories, but I have a better understanding for those women who have gone through this without proper help and have harmed their babies. I try to educate people on depression and especially to help those who could be possibly prone to postpartum depression. I want to let people that they do not have to go it alone and there is no shame in seeking help for their problems.

My children both have depression and anxiety although they are both different in the way the condition manifests. My daughter also has ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) and this also makes her depression and anxiety worse. They are both on medication and I also have to be their advocate in school to make sure that the school and the teachers are aware of their conditions in case of any problems in school and for the teachers to understand better about them as people. I tell anyone who is interested in learning about childhood depression since many people do not realize that children can suffer from depression.

@LeeKa  Thanks for the update on that. Why bother having the save draft feature if you cannot finish what you saved? That is frustrating. Thanks for the website to use to count our words in our posts. I have saved it and will be using this a lot. I do not have Word on my laptop which I use all the time so this will come in handy. I guess after I am done in the forums, I will have to start another post. They should change this so that we can save our posts until a later time when we can finish them. Oh well, what is one to do about it? Just go with the flow. LOL

I was using Stumbleupon when I shared my posts at Blogjob, but do not think it made much difference. However, people were saying that this site gave them more traffic than other social media sites, but I think it might be relative on how much you use it yourself. Of course, I do not know this for a fact, just something that is my opinion, so do not quote me on that. Most of my traffic came from FB since that is where all my friends and family are. But I have not been doing this that long to be able to give much advice.

I have not tried to share on instagram since that site is mostly for pictures instead of articles. I have seen many different things on Pinterest that show you how to use Instagram to sell your goods on there. I can see how this would be effective, but not sure if it would work the same with blog posts. Of course, it does not hurt to try since anything is possible and it is better to use all avenues available.

@LeeKa  Yes, they convert the credits to cash just like when we do the ads. It is added once your cash out is paid to you, so that $0.15 goes towards your next cash out. I know that it does not seem like a lot to most people but it is free money and why not hold out for a bonus. It is going to be added to your total and get you $0.15 closer to your next cash out. I work on the site throughout the day after I have done all the ads then I wait a while and keep checking it to see if there are any more ads.

@Grecy You can make $12 from Humanatic in a day? That is pretty good. How long does that usually take you to do? I wish I could have gotten in there, but I had problems with the site saying that my email address had already been used which is impossible since I had not signed up with them. So I do not know how I could get around that. I am glad that you can earn good there.
