@Grecy Yeah, I do not like gory horror movies, I would rather have a suspense thriller where there is not a lot of blood and guts. I get scared easy too and have too vivid of an imagination causing too many nightmares. I can read horror stories and they do not bother me for some reason. I guess because I am not seeing the things that are described in the books.

Oh that makes sense since that happens a lot on topics especially when you have a lot of people commenting on them. As always, @ruby3881 you have the answer and are ever so helpful. |

I just started using LibreOffice and I like it well enough. It is much like Microsoft Word, so now I just make my draft in there and then post it in LB. It gives the word/character count so I do not need the website anymore. LibreOffice is free to download too and it only took a few minutes to do it. I love free stuff. I did not find that the WordCounter website slowed my computer down, but maybe that was why LB was loading so slow. I doubt it though. Glad you found something else though and hopefully it will work better for you. |

@icybc I do not get my coupons from the newspaper. I just print them from coupon sites, but not all the time unless they have something that I am going to need right then. I also download my coupons to the Kroger app and this is so helpful. Buying store brand is a good way to save money on items and they are usually no different from name brands. Sometimes, I like them better. |

I think when I have a problem and need to take a step away from people, I will try to find a creative outlet and see if that will help. If it was something to do with work, I would put my heart into being with my children and not thinking about work. If is something concerning my children, I will turn to my sister or my friend and see if they could watch the children for a couple of hours so I can have some much needed time alone. Of course, I do not ask this very often because I do not want to just push my children on to other people, but as a single mother sometimes it is necessary.

@Grecy Congratulations on making that much with Humanatic. That is a good amount to be able to make $60 in a week from one site. This site would not let me in because it said that I my email was already used. Anyway, glad that you are getting such a good pay there. @kaka135 Great job in here. Having over $3.50 is awesome and I am sure that you will be able to cash out in the next week or so. Hopefully, you will not go into labor before then. I am slowly making my way to $2 and have found that sharing my post and other people’s posts are generating some income from the visitor referrals. My good news is that my sister is back for a week and it is nice. I really missed her being around as she is my rock and my best friend. But we have a lot of work to do getting the house packed and having a huge yard sale to get rid of a lot of things we do not need. I love this topic and find it inspirational and it is nice to know that others are having some good things happen to them. |

I love older people and I think that even though they are not “up with the times” they can still be a great source of information and education to the younger generation. I often feel more in tune with older people than I do with people my own age. My mother never wanted to go to a nursing home, but when it came down to her being very ill, she wanted us to put her there. She did not feel that we could take care of her properly and she did not want to be a burden on us. We refused to put her in one though and brought her to her home where she would be comfortable. We had hospice nurses coming to check on her and make sure that she was not in pain. When I had to go back to work full time after my children were born, I found a lady who ran a daycare out of her house. For whatever reasons, we just clicked and she developed a strong bond with my children and I. Her daughter told her that when the time came she could live in a senior or retirement place instead of living with her. Of course, I told my friend that she would just come live with me when the time came so she would not have to go to a home without family. It is sad when people just put their elderly in nursing homes and then do not visit. I am sure that they have their reasons, but it is still a shame. Even though they are in nursing homes, they can still be important part of a family dynamic. |

@kaka135 Ok maybe you are not wonder woman but pretty close. LOL I need to start making a list of all the things I would like to learn and just start at the top and work my way down. My list would probably just keep growing though and I would never make it to the end. But I love learning all the time though and I think this is a good way to keep our brains active and to keep us young. I have yet to even make a graphic for my blog, but I will one day. I just seem too consumed by other things at the moment and cannot find the time to sit down and concentrate on it. But I will, maybe after we move and I do not have as much on my mind. |

I like the way you think. You have made your dreams come true and are happy with your success. I think that is great. I never could figure out what I wanted to be and I am not sure what I wanted to be when I was younger. One reason I did not finish college the first time was because I could not figure out a major. I lost interest and ran out of money, so I put it on hold. I was interested in writing, psychology, paralegal, and an environmental scientist just to name a few. Now I want to be able to work from home so that I can be a part of my children’s lives more. Hopefully, I will be able to write and do other things to be able to do this. |

I do not remember a lot of the books from my childhood, but I do remember one series that I would always look for when I went to the library. These books were about Little Bear and the author of this series of stories is Else Holmelund Minarik. I used to read these books to my grandmother when she lived us for a while. I still love these books and I read them to my children. They even made a cartoon of these books and it was very true to the books. I really liked it and had some good lessons for the kids to learn. I wish I still had these books, but I only read the library’s copies. |

@haraka That is a beautiful page that you have done. I have not gotten into adult coloring books, but they do seem to be all the rage right now. There are so many different types of books and the range of subjects is pretty wide. My kids have bought them for their grandmother as she likes to draw and paint things. She loves doing these books too. I can see that it would help someone to be more patient because I am sure there is no way to do this in one sitting. @LeeKa Those eggs in the picture are really nice. It was a good idea to do that for your kids to find on Easter. I like your eggs way better than using plastic eggs. They are something that the kids could keep as a keepsake to remind them of the fun they had and of the things that you created for them as children. I may have to give my sister this idea and maybe she can make them to sell for next year. She does all kinds of crocheting to sell. I think it is great that you are learning all these different creative outlets to teach to your children. They are going to be well rounded individuals when they get older. People need many different talents to live life to the fullest. |

@suny I do not think this is a bad way to write. It obviously works for you and you are doing good. I do not usually have a plan on what to write, but I will jot down some ideas on possible topics. I do not write anything that is professional, but then I have just started writing so maybe one day it will take me in that direction. Keep up the good work. |

@cely This site is a little complicated, but if you just explore some in all the areas then you will get the hang of it. It has taken me a few days and I think I can find my way around here. I would just click wherever I could and see where it would take me. The groups you have to join in order to comment on the topics in the forums just as @Grecy said in her comment. The forums here have some valuable information and the people are very helpful. You can ask any questions of them and they will help to guide you if they can. |

I have used Grammarly but only the free version which just checks spelling errors. I am not able to pay for any type of service such as this right now. @ruby3881 I just started using the LibreOffice and it looks very much like Word but I can see there are quite a few differences as well. I will have to play around in there, but for now it is going to be easy to write my posts in there then paste them here in LB. Thanks again for your help. |

I would have to say that I would probably not be the first person to talk. I do not like confrontation and I am usually not the person who initiates conversation with another person regardless of whether I do not like them or not. I am quite shy when I am in social situations and have low self esteem. I will talk to someone if they talk to me, but I do not ever know what to start the conversation with. I have tried to get over this, but I guess this is just how I am. It would also depend on why I do not like this person and what it was that they did to me to make me feel this way about them. Some reasons are beyond the point of being able to be civil to someone even though you would be in close contact with them for a length of time. |
