What a fun thread. Thanks for creating it @Grecy I want to own a bookstore because I love books and would love to share that with other people. I love to be in a cozy bookstore where you can read, buy, sell, and just share your love of books with others of like minds. I want to take my kids to places that I find beautiful and share my love of nature with them. I want to show them that there is life beyond the screen of the TV and computers. I want to travel to places I have not been before and make them dreams come true. I want to be free of the worries of money and bills. I want to try lots of new restaurants or go to the movies and watch many different movies. I want to take a nap instead of working right now. 🙂

@Gecy Maybe you are not a failure, but your brain is telling you to slow down and focus on just one thing to give yourself a little rest. I know that when you are down it is hard to concentrate on one thing let alone several at a time. Give yourself time. You are not a failure. You work very hard and have a lot to think about in your personal life. So rest and regain your emotional strength which can take longer to recoup than physical strength. @dawnwriter That is a lot of tabs open. LOL I only have about 4 open at any given time and sometimes, I forget to go to them when I get involved in some of the sites that I do. If that works for you then that is great. I think that you have to do what works for you even though that might not work for everyone. @kaka135 You are very disciplined when it comes to working online and I wish that I could be that way. I am a very disorganized person and no matter how many times I try, I cannot become more organized. I am terrible to making lists so I find it hard to remember what sites I need to do each day. 🙂 |

Great job to those that received a bonus. That is a great incentive to encourage more people to be active and promote LB. I am trying to promote the site and the blog posts every chance I get. I do not have a ton of followers on Twitter, but I am slowly gaining one or two a week. Lol Twitter is a little new for me and I have not gotten used to it yet. @kaka135 We will surely miss you when you have the baby, but it is so wonderful that you will have time to bond with your baby and enjoy the time while they are so small. It definitely goes by way too fast and I often wish that I could have another go at them being babies. But then I get over it quick and just appreciate them now at their ages. You will have to pop in once in a while to say hi and how you are doing. Let’s keep up the good work and keep getting those visitor referrals. Good luck to all. |

@peachpurple I am so glad that you have found your earnings going up. That is always a good thing. You can see how many referral visitors you have when you go under your profile. I cannot believe how many I have gotten, but I wish we could tell from where it is coming from. I keep sharing my posts when I have new ones and I share the other posts on here too. Sharing, I think is going to be where we make the money here for the most part. Which is good because then it encourages people on here to share to boost the site and hopefully, make the site go on for a long time. |

I have used a website that would count the words in my post and then I downloaded LibreOffice and then just copy and pasted into here. Although, I did not like the way my post turned out with the formatting of it. So I will have to play around and see how to change that. It would be nice to have the word count while writing the post in this site. It would make it a lot easier than copy and paste. |

I am new to blogging so I think for now I am good to write on an earning site versus having my own site. It is a lot easier to get viewers here than if I were to have my own site. It takes less time and I feel like I am learning a lot from being in this community with those that have more experience than I do. It may not get me rich, but there is nothing to guarantee having your own site will make you a lot of money either. |

Two and a half years ago, I had to have a hysterectomy because of issues and pain I was having from endometriosis that I was diagnosed with after having my children. Before my hysterectomy, I experienced hot flashes, mood swings, and other symptoms that I thought were menopause even though my doctor told me I was too young. So I was like okay. Anyway, after I had the surgery, it was like someone turned the heat off. I was cold all of the time and if you asked someone who knows me then you would think I was crazy. People that I worked with would stop in their tracks if I said “I’m cold.” I was on hormone therapy and it was patches that you would leave on for a few days and then take it off and put on a new one. If I took it off, I would forget to put one back on and vice versa. So I just stopped using it altogether. I take calcium supplement so that I do not get osteoporosis and I have to have a bone density test every 2 years. I have no symptoms of menopause even to this day since my surgery. I am backwards, but I don’t like to be like everyone else, I guess. 🙂 I have heard that Black Cohosh does work, but you have to be careful as it can interfere with other medications. There are other types of natural remedies for menopause too. The best bet would be to ask your doctor for a recommendation. |

@ruby3881 I figured that was what you meant, although that would be amazing. LOL I do not have a sign up referral yet, but I will still keep sharing since that seems to be the way to make my earnings grow. I agree that putting a cap on earnings can be detrimental for the site since people will only do that and nothing more. If they are making a certain amount in a day that is all they are going to do and be happy with it. I think I can see the benefit of the type of earning here at LB. I was getting discouraged but I just have to talk to everyone and see that even if I am not earning a lot, I still like being here. I am going to strive to find the right method of earning for me and be happy with it. I am still getting practice and learning new things and I like doing that. |

I had a post that was about 40 words shy of being 500 words and I got five cents for it. I am hoping that I will be able to make up the difference with all the visitor referrals, since this is how I think that we are going to make more money. I am going to keep sharing and sharing and sharing. I have not done another post though since I had some things to take care of today, so I have not been in here most of the afternoon today. I have over $2 now so I am almost there. LOL |

I am not sure how they know which sites. Hopefully, someone who does know will enlighten us on this subject. I have not checked out Tumblr yet. I run out of time to do everything. 🙂 I will have to do that in the next few days so that I can share there too. |

@kaka135 I am trying to be active in here and the past couple of days I have spent the majority of my time here to see if I am going to make the $10 by the end of the month. I like being in the forums, but it is a little disappointing to get pennies for my blog posts. I made them longer than my first one even and still I only received five cents for the one. But I have been making the referral visitor money so I guess that evens it out. I seen somewhere else that the amount of money also depends on the category that you write in too. Do you know if this is true? I read your post and I was inspired to keep working at it because it is fun now that I have gotten the hang of navigating around the site. I really like the people too. Thanks for all your help. |

@kaka135 I am not sure which sites I am getting the traffic from. I know that @ruby3881 has shared it on Twitter. I am sharing on Twitter, FB, Google+, Stumbleupon, and Pinterest. You can find it under the profile tab when you click on your name under Hello. It does not say where the visitors came from though so I do not know. It would be nice, but I will just keep sharing on those that I mentioned. My guess would be mostly Twitter and FB though as those are the ones that I am most active on. I am sure that you have a lot of visitors too. This is how you make the money here: visitor referrals. At least, in my opinion. |

This happens all the time and I am not sure why people keep asking for advice only to not do what you have suggested and then regret not having listened to you in the first place. I know people have to learn things for themselves and even though we may have been through the same thing they still keep refusing to see their mistakes. I guess it takes all kinds and there is nothing that we can do except keep trying to be their friend, hoping one day they will heed your advice. |
|
@ruby3881 If you are meaning 200 signups then I may as well give up. LOL But thinking about it more I think you are referring to the visitors right? I just checked on how many I have and it is at 324 and I have been sharing posts again so hopefully that is going to go up some more. This is how I am getting my money, since my blog posts are not earning me much. But I will not give up yet. I do not have any sign up referrals yet either, but I am hoping that I might get one by sharing the blog posts I have here. I am crossing my fingers for this to happen. I would love to earn more money here, but for now I like to interact with my new friends. 🙂 |

@kaka135 You definitely deserve that since you have been very active and helpful in the forums. I love your blog posts and have been sharing them to help you out as well as LiteracyBase. You are an awesome asset to this site and I am glad that they have awarded you with this. Keep up the good work. |
