Yes, I do have phobias. I have fear of spiders. Do not like them and am afraid of them if they are near me. I was killing one at work and my worst nightmare came true. I stepped on it and a wave of tiny ones went running. It was a mama spider caring her babies. I was sure they were attached to the bottom of my shoe so I kept stomping it to kill them or get them off of there. I have a fear of heights. I do not even like to be on a ladder. I get vertigo when I am at any height and especially close to the edge when I am up high. This is one reason that I could not jump off the diving board at school since water makes it look like you are even higher than you really are. When my sister and I were on vacation with my children, we stopped at this lake. It had this concrete pillar that was quite large with railings around it. You could walk out there and you were some ways into the lake. The kids were very excited to be by the railings but I kept getting dizzy and paranoid that the kids were going to fall in. Finally, my sister told me to go back to the grass and wait. I kept picturing my children falling in and drowning. I was nearly hyperventilating from my fear. I also have a fear of water. I can be in a pool just fine, but I will not get into a lake or river especially if I cannot see the bottom. I will only go as far as I can see the bottom. Once I can no longer see it then I am stopping. I do not like to have my face in water either as I fear I am going to suffocate. I am not sure why I have this fear either. I am a little bit claustrophobic. I do not like being closed in certain places, but worse than that is having something over my face. I do not like to have an oxygen mask on since I feel like I cannot breathe. So I do not like waking up from surgery since I have a mask on usually. My mother was the same way so maybe I inherited it from her.

@scheng1 You are very fast with getting ideas for writing contests. LOL I have not even done the first one yet. I get too distracted with commenting in the forums and doing my other sites as well. I need to focus like I tell my children all the time. I think this one sounds fun too. I may have to check this one out. So basically you are suggesting that we write a fictional cruise adventure so to speak. It would have to be fictional for me since I have never been on a cruise. |

@jentleheart There is nothing wrong with trying to be a better person, but do not think you are a lesser person now. I think we are our own worst enemies at times because we are our own biggest critics. I am not sure why we do this to ourselves since it is self destructive. I feel as long as we try our best then we are doing good. I am glad that we could boost you up a little bit and were able to help you. @peachpurple That is sad that your brother could not understand that you have to take care of your family first. It sounds a little selfish of him to expect you to always be the contributor to your parents as there are other children. Is he your only sibling? Is he married too? It is sad when family does not get along and this can be heartbreaking for the parents. I can understand that your father is sad about this. It is not how you envision your children being. I hope that one day your brother will change and you will be able to put the past behind you and have a better relationship with each other. |

@peachpurple Yep my son keeps asking questions and sometimes after I answer them he wants to take it further. I can answer some of them without problem but he can delve too deeply and then my knowledge about the subject gets lesser. That is when I tell him to look it up or to ask someone who knows more about it. For example: The other day we took our dog to the vet to get her checked for heartworm and get her medicine to prevent it. She also had something wrong with her one ear so the vet checked that out. Well my ever curious son starts asking me questions when the vet was out of the room getting medicine and such. So I tell him to ask the vet. He wanted to know about heartworms and if the model on the desk was what they looked like. My dog’s ear problem was a yeast infection which is the most common type of ear infection for dogs. So my son questioned the vet about that. He also asked the vet what is the strongest dog and what makes a terrier a terrier. I have to give kudos to the vet since he was pretty busy for answering all my son’s questions. @kaka135 If I cannot answer the question, I will now tell my son to look it up on the internet sine he is old enough to do that now. Before it seemed that we would run out of time before we could get around to looking things up, so it makes it much easier now that he can do it himself. I love that he is so curious and wants to learn so much about everything. He reminds me of myself except I don’t remember asking so many questions. 🙂 |

@RapidBlue I was just thinking this last night. I was checking on my blogs and noticed that a couple of them had comments that I did not know were there. We get notifications for everything else why not there. I just figured no one was commenting and did not check. Thanks for bringing this to the attention of support. |

@dawnwriter I was referring to Forum Coin. Kaka135 is a member there as well as me. |

This sounds like fun and would be a challenge for me. I am not sure I can think up enough ways to spend a million dollars but I can sure try. LOL Oh the fun of really having a million dollars to spend or not spend. Thanks for creating this fun little writing challenge. I will see how it goes and post my link here if I can come up with something. |

I do not believe in UFO’s and I find it hard to believe the accounts that I have heard about on tv. I do not watch those shows either. I have never known anyone to claim to see an UFO either. For some reason, the thought of aliens really scares me. More than any other thing that cannot be explained in this world. I am not sure if it is a possibility that they could be out there or not. I tend to not think about it since it causes me anxiety. LOL |

I think it just depends on where you are with your life really. The right age I think is relative to the person or couple. Maturity helps and having a steady income is especially important. I had my first child at age 33 and my second one at age 34. My children are 15 months apart and I am not sure that it was wise to have them like that, but what can you do now. Hindsight is 20/20 right? I do not think I would have wanted to have them any later than I did nor was I able to have them earlier than that either. I do not think I would have been able to take care of my mother if I would have had children. I definitely am lagging in the energy department and on some days my patience department goes on strike. But we make it through somehow. My daughter is not the talker but she used to be the singer. She would sing all the time, now it is mostly when she is by herself since she does not like people to hear her. My son however is the “why?” kid. Why, Why, Why, and Why? All day long, he is talking or making noise non stop and it can wear on you. Even now that he is 9 years old, he questions everything. I am not saying it is a bad thing, I love it, but I am running out of answers. I keep telling him I am not a walking encyclopedia. Good thing we have the internet. @JoDee Have a great time with your grandchildren. You are giving them memories that will last a lifetime. |

@kaka135 I am so happy that your day is almost here and I will miss you here and at FC. It has been fun and I am sure that you will be back and hopefully this site will still be here. If not then I will see you at FC for sure. I am sure that you will be very busy and will sleep happily along with your new little bundle of joy. I wish you well.

@kaka135 Yes you can do other things online while doing Ayuwage as long as you leave the tab of the ads open for the length of time it is required to get your credit. I will do Ayuwage, EasyHits4U, Neobux, and another site. Today I did Chatabout along with them to earn the double points for Tuesday. I earned 100 points in there today since I want to be able to cash out in there. I need 250 more to go. The only ads in Ayuwage that I have a hard time doing in conjunction with other sites is the Explore tab. @peachpurple The 2 cent ads are rare. I think I have only had maybe 4 and one time I had 2 at a time. I jumped on that let me tell you. Hehe. I get a few of the 1 cent ads but mostly I get all the other ones that are .001 and .005. So I just do a lot of those to build up my earnings. I have the ClixAddon as well so I check for the 1 cent ads all the time while I am working online. I will sometimes go to the Clixoffers and go under the browse tab. If you do the browse you will get 1 cent each time. You just have to click next or something as the timer runs out and go through 5 pages but it does not take that long. I can usually do it 3 times so that is 3 cents more for me. |

I did not have experiences like that with my grandparents. Both sets were gone by the time I was 6 years old. My children do not have that experience either since my parents are gone as well. I was fortunate enough to find a lady to watch my children while I worked. My children love her as a grandmother and she also feels that way about them. So they at least get to be spoiled by a grandparent even though we had to adopt her. I think that this is a great sounding summer for you @JoDee and I am sure @kaka135 your children will be very excited to spend time with their grandparents. You are very fortunate to have your mother take care of you after you have your baby. |

We do what we can when we can and our parents do not expect any more of us than that. It is hard to believe that since we know that our parents did a lot for us growing up and we want to repay them for that. I always think that I could have done more or said more to my parents but I think that is just normal guilt because they are no longer here. It is only after we realize their mortality that we have regrets about what we were not able to provide for them or what we never said when we had the chance. I feel that as long as everything you do for them comes from the heart then that is sufficient for them. |

I think that you have to blame the parents in most cases since discipline starts at home. If they are not disciplined at home then they are not being taught respect towards others and especially their elders. I would never have thought to do something like that because I would have gotten my butt beat if my parents would have found out. I think that the parents are just too busy with work or whatever. They want some time away from the noise of the kids so they send them outside or to their friends’ home where there is probably not any adult supervision there either. Kids will get into trouble and do stupid things but I think it makes a difference if there are consequences involved for their bad choices. This will teach them to be more responsible and respectful. |

I am so shocked. I decided to give Swagbucks another try and downloaded their app once again. I thought that maybe I would have better luck on my mobile instead of the computer. I was actually qualified for a survey worth 50 points. I have only been paid once from them, but I figured maybe I would try again and see if my luck was changing. I know lots of people swear by this site but I have not had the luck that most people have. But maybe things are looking up. I will give it another shot since I have more than 250 points. |
