@morgoodie/
ouch, it must be very painful to go thru the C sec.
yes, both of us are Chinese, so we follow the Chinese traditional custom of confinement period.
Confinement means quarantine day in the home for 30 days. Some could extend to 60 days but I couldn’t stand it.
You see during these 30 days, mom is not allowed to take shower…[Read more]

my mom taught us the same way as your dad did.
When we were young, we would save up al the coins in the piggy when daddy comes home from work. We would dig out his pockets for shyllings, put them into the piggy banks. I had a rooster, my brother had a rat.
When the piggy banks are heavy, we have to break them because they were…[Read more]

@morgoodie My 7 year old son also likes to help me to click on ads, so I understand how your children think. They feel good when they are able to help, and make some money for us. 😀
When I was still writing at Bubblews, my son also always said he wants to write too. I was hoping it’d be good if Bubblews stays for long term, then when my son was…[Read more]

@morgoodie I agree with you, no matter how the site goes, we have gained experience. We have also learned new things, met new friends, and enjoyed our time here.
I don’t mind trying out, moreover it’s just a month, then we should be able to know whether the site is paying. I think it’s worth to give it a try. If it takes me a year to test it out,…[Read more]

@morgoodie Very well said and very convincing. What’s in spending a bit of time and building up a site that is just showing up. We will benefit from it eventually. And what are we going to lose anyway. As you said it is an experience and let’s not forget we are interacting with lovely people here.

@morgoodie I really want to buy a steam mop. I have heard such good things about it.
Do you use any particular brand? The ones I have seen in the market are a bit low quality stuff and people say they usually stop working after a few weeks.
Can you clean kitchen, bathroom and stairs etc with the same mop? For traditional mops, I keep the ones…[Read more]

@morgoodie i think you have good approach to decluttering.
I tried this tip a few years back and it really help me in keeping my house decluttered.
Take 3-4 strong cardboard boxes. use one for clothes, shoes socks etc children have outgrown. Other for books and papers, another for useless household items like mismatched mugs etc
Before putting…[Read more]

Good to hear that you have your direct sales business too. Have you set up any website or blog to work on your direct sale business? I have seen some of my friends setting up blogs for that. They also promote their products on Facebook, and there are also Facebook groups that allow to promote…[Read more]
@morgoodie I am not sure if these online sites we are joining can help us to earn enough for monthly expense. I used to think about setting up an online business, like online store that might be helpful. I also thought of setting up a blog or website that can help generating money as well. You might want to try this out, but I am sure these…[Read more]

@lolaze Congratulations on reaching your first dollar in such a short time here. I am not good at geting referral signups at all, so I can’t give you any advice. Hope someone will be able to tell us more about that. I am trying to share my posts and also others’ posts in social media sites. Currently, I am just sharing the posts on twitter,…[Read more]

Exactly, @morgoodie! If we want to earn from writing online there is also a bit of risk involved. We expect the sites to take a chance on us, so with a new site we must enter into our relationship with an open mind and give the benefit of the doubt.
I do think it’s good to give feedback about site functionality and to make suggestions or requests…[Read more]
Kyla Matton Osborne (Ruby3881) replied to the topic word count in the forum About LiteracyBase 8 years, 6 months ago
I believe the word count could be added to the front-end submit form that we use here, but I’m actually hoping that higher rank will give us access to the back-end “new post” and “edit” functions. This will allow for better control over how posts display, and if combined with certain plugins it could also help users to improve SEO and customize…[Read more]
@morgoodie That’s good. I have also just added ForumCoin to my list. Hope it will help me to gain some referrals. It’s so nice of CyberFreaks, I wish I do not have a neobux account. 😀

Absolutely @morgoodie, it does take time to build up earnings. But people need to remember that even a fraction of a penny at a time is better than no earnings at all. So when other sites are not paying, isn’t it worth trying out a site like Literacy Base to see if it works for you?

@grecy095 I am sure your friends would love it when you help them braiding their hair.

@morgoodie This is one of the reasons I like BlogJob and now LB, we do not only earn money by blogging and interacting, but also learn some social media marketing skills, and of course the friendly and helpful community here. I guess when we just started something new, we need to be patient to sow the seed and wait for it to reap.

@morgoodie – I want the site to provide it for us. Any good site has that facility.
@morgoodie I think the worst thing a site can do is to panic about the imbalance between revenues and user earnings that must be paid. Whenever a paid to site ends up in trouble, it’s because the owner has overestimated revenues and underestimated how much users will earn in points for writing, page views, tasks, etc. Inevitably, instead of…[Read more]
