@morgoodie, thank-you for the list there!! 😉  I might have to use them as well.  I did have swagbucks on my phone that had to be replaced and I could have videos playing, while I was on the computer!!

I don’t think that when we are named, our parents are thinking about colors! We probably were named after some one in our family or some one who was close to the family…some kind of meaning behind the name that […]

@Jodee I love the reasons for your choices and what the colors mean to you. Great post. I also chose eggplant for my “e” in my name. I did not think about emerald but I do love that rich shade of green.

What a lovely exercise. My name in colors is not an idea that came to me. Might get my kids to try this. Will have to think about mine for a while. The “R” in my name would for sure be red. 🙂

This is an exercise and a half. With colors I can try to get what my name means. A- Amber is close to Orange like you have said I will associate it with oranges rich in vitamin
N- navy blue I associate it with uniformed police in my country for me that’s protection.
I- Ivory I think of ivory tasks. Am thinking elephants animals of the jungles.
T- I can’t seem to think of a color with the letter T
      A-Amber
H- hot pink the only thing that comes to mind is baby girls.
I can think of other ways.
      A-Amazing
      N-Naughty
      I-Intelligent.
      T-Tenacious.
      A-Amazing.
      H-Humble
I guess those are some really nice characteristics about a name right? Maybe this should be a new thread what do you think.

Besides making money on the internet with your computer you can also make money using your cellphone.  Do you use your cellphone to make money with?  If so, what apps do you use?

I’m a helping kind of person as well, but there are certain things that another person can’t help some one with.  Some times people make excuses for NOT doing some thing as well.  They really can do it, but they might use the “I’m too old” or “I can’t do this” when in actuality they can do it!!

@scheng1, I think it was good though that General Mills is saving themselves from lawsuits however, even though they don’t know it’s their flour that is causing the outbreak!

I do agree with you that the E.coli probably was in other ingredients that they use with the flour.

I too have read this news and there was no option as one would have not known what the Gorilla would be doing with that child.

Yes, it is the parents’mistake why they let the children go near the gorilla cage because it does not know difference between man and animal it eats what he sees as I have heard and read in different books.

Gorillas are able to survive on vegetation such as leaves, stems, roots, vines, herbs, trees, and grasses but such vegetation has relatively low nutritional quality. Therefore, they must consume a larger quantity, but it is available year-round.

Gorillas are very selective foragers. They usually only eat parts of vegetation. For example they may eat only the leaves, pith, stalk, or roots of a particular plant. They use their agile lips and hand dexterity to manipulate the vegetation for the particular portion they want to consume.

I have read in a magazine recently that A young boy got into the gorilla enclosure and was confronted by a silverback male gorilla named Harambe. The gorilla repeatedly dragged the boy through the water. To save the boy, the zoo’s staff shot and killed Harambe.

General Mills is voluntarily recalling some of it’s flour because of concerns of E.coli outbreak.  Even though it’s just the government who is concerned (no state or federal agencies have reported any concerns.)

IMO, since she is “labelled” she IS the only one who gets in trouble.  My son had the same problem, he was labelled as ADHD and even though there were other children that were involved, he was the one who got blamed!!  I’m not saying my son is/ was perfect but he was a “follower” not a leader.
