I do not know the country in which you reside. In our country you do get a twenty liter bottle which has to be returned to the shop from whom we buy the water to be replaced by a fresh 20 liter plastic bottle. The clean the old bottle will before refilling the bottle with fresh water and capping it then selling it back to customers. We…[Read more]

@lookat these are great measures and we ought to implement these in our own capacity- even if that capacity is not too high.

which site? The B site? Oh I sure missed that site very much.
We can write almost anything we wanted, love it.
@swalia/
oh dear!
with 300 words 5 cents, that is even lower than mine!
So sorry to hear that.
But you write lots of post per day, I had counted 8 of them!
You got a point there.

Oh you are making me hungry again !
Yes I love burgers over the grill too, mustard, BBq sauce , toss with chopped onions and green peppers.
Grilled chicken wings are my kids favorite, a simple oyster sauce, light soy sauce and black pepper will do the job.

@lookat Any editing in one’s blog is done through Admin. You should contact support for that, giving all the details.
That is a good idea. In the mean time I will try to do better with my proof reading before publishing so the spelling and title image are correct for the subject of the article. Thank you.

as long as you had already posted your message to admin through “Contact” rest assured that he will amend your post and let you save a copy.
Maybe you should wait until the post is published, you still can save a copy.
As for your image, upload in Pinterest, send the link to admin, he will do the job.

@lookat Nobody will publish a 300 pages novel for 35 cents!
Writing itself is not hard. Writing for money to put food on the table is hard, because after the publication of a book, the writer has to find ways to sell more books.

@lookat Great point! Of course, one would hope for a better return on their novel than we see on our posts 😉

@lookat Yes, I believe with our continuous contribution, the site will generate more revenue from the ads and in return, they are able to pay us better. Hope this new change will attract more good writers to the site.
I always have my word count tool to count the posts I write. I am quite calculative when I come to LiteracyBase now. 😀

@lookat Hi Anthony. Welcome to our group.
I think in any family there is one person who loves to collect things and the other who wants to get rid of all junk. I guess if both were same way, either the house would be pack-jammed with stuff or totally bare.
Yes, decluttering is great for psychological and health reasons. You just have to be firm…[Read more]

@morgoodie I completely agree that if editing is turned off even for posts saved as drafts, then having the option to save a draft is pretty much useless. It should simply be disabled until the user reaches a sufficient rank to have access to editing.

Just to let you know, I am looking for that button too!
Once your post is published, you cannot edit it, if I am not wrong.
In addition, if your post in under “Awaiting for Approval ” or under “Offline” which is save draft mode, you cannot edit or publish it either.
I had tried both yesterday but couldn’t get into the edit mode.
