Gil Camporazo wrote a new post, How Success Becomes Happiness 8 years, 4 months ago

We live to find happiness and we could only enjoy it to the fullest if we attain success which could be achieved in one-thousand-and-one ways. The following is the product of my instant thoughts while […]

    • The peace of mind gets from being contented, from attaining it after the big “storm” is a success per se. Anything, I should say, that brings happiness without reservation, without expecting something in return is a typical success. In short, if it satisfies you. It could be considered as the essence of success.

Well, in the practical point of view, success depends on how the doer or the recipient appreciates it. For others, it may not. If you ask the kids, for them, success when they know, see and feel that they are loved by their parents. When I was courting my wife, I consider success when I always see her sweet smile, talk to her, hear her sweet voice. and touch her soft, delicate hands.

In short, success is too subjective. It is the actor that determine if he has achieved his goal or not, if he has accomplished his task for the day or not. Whatever it is, I should say success is happines.

How often do you dream? Do you perfectly remember your dream? Can you still relate it after a week or so? Do you find the realization of your dream? Do you tell your dream to others? These are the basic […]

    • Wow first and foremost i think that was more of a revelation than it was a dream. Because your wife was being directed in doing what she was or is supposed to do. But anyway I believe we all have dreams that come differently with each and everyone of us. I must say for me i hardly dream I say this because most of the time when am asked if I dream I say no, because I can’t even recall some of th3 things that may be a happened say 1 hour before I conned out. Sometimes I do dream and the following day I share with my sister about my dream it may be vivid and at times not clear at all.

    • Seeing dream in darkness is the main job of dormouse and bats because they cannot face day realities but when human beings see dream there are some meaning hidden in it but not in all but in some dreams we may say dream come true.

There are many theories about why we dream, but no one knows for sure. Some researchers say dreams have no purpose or meaning and are nonsensical activities of the sleeping brain. Others say dreams are necessary for mental, emotional, and physical health.

Studies have shown the importance of dreams to our health and well-being. In one study, researchers woke subjects just as they were drifting off into REM sleep. They found that those who were not allowed to dream experienced:

Perhaps there is merit with all these theories. Some dreams may help our brains process our thoughts and the events of the day. Others may just be the result of normal brain activity and mean very little, if anything. Researchers are still trying to figure out exactly why we dream.

    • Change is coming. We learn thru President DU30 that Philippines has numerous drug addicts and drug lords. I hope that PNP Chief Bato can eliminate crimes in 3 to 6 months. So many drug-lords and users dead this time.He is a very tough President and he will surely do what is right for or countrymen,

    • Although we have found and shut down many big drug lords, there is still a ton out there. I support doing everything we can do to stop these drug lords and stop the drugs from getting out on our streets and maybe saving lives, but I do not think the drug game will ever end. They will only get smarter about it and get away with it longer. A lot of the help comes from the people we trust such as the military or police officers, some of these people are the ones keeping the shipments under the radar. I support trying to put a stop to this but I dont think we should put a high expectation up thinking that we will end the whole drug game because that just is not going to happen.

Calling me idiot has shocked me. I never expect that statement. Why I received that statement?

To be frank, I would be turning 65 in October. I am fed up of all trials and challenges in life. I have lived a […]

    • I’ve grown a pretty thick skin over the years. I have had people criticize my writing, criticize me for not going along with whatever the group was doing, and try to claim I’m name calling or bullying simply because I don’t agree with them. I don’t let other people’s temper tantrums get to me anymore.

      • I know you have inured to all those criticisms and bullyings done by those people who have done nothing except thriving on your infirmities, inadequacies. It is good you have overcome all those things. Now, you are strong. You possess that such stability in emotion that couldn’t be belittled or undermined for you are ready to take them by their toes as long as you are right and being humiliated and insulted.

For I know you have the guts to assert your views, your right to strengthen the misrepresentation if there is any. I couldn’t display that kind of bravery. You know I am a reserved person. I hate to argue. That is in personal. But in writing, I will pour our all my sentiments, my dissatisfaction for all they know.

That bully has called me buddy. Did I know him? I would presume that is true. That means he isn’t serious. He’s only joking. Well, I don’t think so.

    • You’re right. In fact, that is how I feel as a professional too. I don’t know if we’ll be confronting each other what would be my reaction. I don’t know if I could control myself. He’s so lucky that it is done in a comment. I don’t know who is idiot between us. I just hold my ire for I know if I rant it would unprofessional for me.

Awhile ago, I received an email from the admin of the said site. He relayed that it is not him. It is somebody who stole my credits earned. Actually, I didn’t hold him accountable for it. I know he himself couldn’t control his members’ misbehavior. But he has the will to discipline them according to what they have done. For him, I think it is too immaterial. It is not the point. His top priority is the activities on his site. I am only alone being affected, insulted.

Gil Camporazo wrote a new post, When Did You Stop Smoking? 8 years, 4 months ago

Smoking is dangerous to one’s health. That is a very serious announcement to those who smoke cigarettes. But it doesn’t work 100%. You can see people all over the world smoking. Why couldn’t people stop smoking? […]

    • Yes, it is a very lucrative business. If the manufacturing of tobacco would be abruptly stopped, the economy of the country would be greatly affected. Many people would be out of a job. Many mouths wouldn’t be fed. The whole society and even the country would be economically drained of money. That is the practical sense of view if tobacco is stopped for growing and production of cigars and cigarettes.

But the people would be urged to refrain from using the cigarettes. Four years ago, the Department of Education had issued an order that every school should have to put up a notice declaring that the school is a free-smoking area. No one is allowed within the school premises and its adjacent place to smoke. It would be a bad example to the pupils whom they might be tempted to try smoking.

Lately, we had let our pupils see the educational video about the harmful effects of smoking which generally killing smokers.

    • Inspite of many advertise/billboards telling people to stop from smoking but many people never quit from smoking..Even they increase the price of cigarrettes but still they are not convince..I myself keep on giving advice friends telling them the poasible effects but still i could not convince them..So the smoker itself should decide when he will stop to smoke

      • To quit smoking is not impossible if those smokers wanted to. It is a matter of commitment, a matter of determination if they don’t want to get sick. And also they should be supported by their family members. I don’t think they couldn’t do it.

Selling of cigarettes couldn’t be banned. It is one of the major biggest contributions to the income and to the economy of the country. If it will be sanctioned by the government through the legislation, as I have said the economic status of the country would be greatly affected. Imagine the price of a pack or package of a cigarette has been raised according to you, but yet many are still buying them.

I would repeat it is a personal commitment. If they want to stop smoking, they could do it. If they don’t want, then who else? Those smokers are already adult and they know what is wrong and what is right.

    • Believe it or not, I have never once even tried a cigarette. Smoking always seemed like such a vile habit to me that there was no appeal whatsoever. Even when many of my friends took up smoking, I never even wanted to try it. I guess I am one of those people who just has no predisposition at all for smoking.

Anti-smoking campaigns in North America have been carried out for 50 years or more. There have been films and messages from health authorities, laws restricting the places where people can smoke and banning minors from buying tobacco products. Every packet of cigarettes has an ugly photo on it with a message about the harm caused by smoking. And yet there are still many youth who start smoking.

I really don’t understand the attraction, but it’s pretty clear to me that the change has to come from society first. All the laws and awareness programs do little if children are seeing adults smoke, or if smoking is portrayed as cool on TV and movies. We didn’t see a lot of people quitting here until after smoking had become less of a factor in popular culture.

    • I started smoiking when i was only 16,i was at school and my friends forced me to just go for that and i enjoyed alot the taste of cigrate on that time.I started smoking from there.i continuously smoke for may b 7,8 years.and finally i realized that how bad the smoking is because sign of damage done by smoke,If i wal litlle i get tired so early,i used to play different sports but because of smoke i felt that i am not as sharp as i used to be.than i decided to quit smoking in year 2014 i stopped smoking and from that day tell no i didnt even touch a cigrate and now i am fit and feeling so good.

    • Congratulations on your many years of non smoking that’s a good achievement especially when you think of how early you started.smoking is harmful to our health that’s the advertisement you will see if packs of cigarettes in our country, but more and more people are getting into it regardless of the harm that it causes in the body. Women are the ones in the front line nowadays when it comes to smoking and I feel so sorry for those women who smoke. If it can do so much harm to the man how much more would it cause in a woman. I often ask myself why do people smoke, and the answers I get are sometimes ridiculous. Like someone told me once, that it keeps your body warm, is that by inhailing that bad smoke into your lungs or is it by burning your lips that keeps you warm, I don’t understand. Others say it relieves tension and stress, maybe that will work because I have seen in my work place when someone is stressed out with loads of work or is supposed to see the boss over a certain issue they will always go out and smoke then they gain some courage, and only then can they see the boss. Otherwise they become nervous wrecks and can’t handle anything. It’s very unfortunate that people find refuge in smoking, something that can kill you in hours. Despite th3 many announcements about smoking people ar3 still getting into it. I have never amoked in my life and my fiancee doesnt smoke either i thank God. After seeing my dad being admitted in hospital because hes lungs were so inflamed because of smoking i never wanted to hear or see any ofmy close friends or rekatives smoking it really broke my heart. But after his admission he was able to stop smoking. Unlike mt brother who was so hooked to smoking to the last day of his life may gis soul continue to R.I.P. cigarette smoking is bad and I always advocate for people to stop.

    • Smoking is a bad habit for everyone because it is dangerous to our health mentally , physically and spiritually. It leaves a bad effect on our memory.

Quitting smoking is easy but for this purpose your will power be very strong. My many friends have given up the habit of smoking on the ground of will power or the doctor said him not to smoke in future otherwise the second heart attack will come soon.

Nicotine is both a stimulant and a depressant. That means it increases the heart rate at first and makes people feel more alert. Then it causes depression and fatigue. The depression and fatigue — and the drug withdrawal from nicotine — make people crave another cigarette to perk up again. Some experts think the nicotine in tobacco is as addictive as cocaine or heroin.

It can be hard to get used to not holding something or not having a cigarette in your mouth. If you have this problem, stock up on carrot sticks, sugar-free gum, mints, toothpicks, or lollipops.

Gil Camporazo wrote a new post, Corruptions Losing Trust, Confidence of People to Government 8 years, 4 months ago

Sometime in 2011, I have written an article and cited some generic possible solutions to get rid of corruptions in the country Philippines. It is a shameful fact to name the country as one of the corrupt nations […]

    • Good read, Corruption is definitely one of the hardest things to rid within governmental systems. With that being said I believe since we live in a very informatic age it definitely makes a lot harder for those behind corruption within government To keep their wrong doings behind close doors!!

      • Thanks for the praise. Ever since the world began and even in the grand council in heaven as what the Bible says, corruption is already there. Imagine one-third of the hosts of heaven joined the force of the Son of Perdition, while the two-thirds joined and supported Jesus to save mankind for the glory of God.

To admit reality, we could sense how corruption is being practiced in our own respective homes, but we never ever went against it for we do respect our parents and we know they’re for our welfare in the future. I have a personal experience for that. I was hurt for that and I told my children the unfairness which their grandfather did to me, but I told them it is a perfect great lesson for me on how to own family according to the “nurture and admonition of the Lord.”
