I am rather sad about this; I liked Sheridan, I liked the site… I didn’t expect it to collapse. As soon as he dropped the submissions from 3 to 2 I felt sad. I knew I should kiss it good bye. Why should anyone go on a site and write for free? Think about it. You can just as easily get a blog and write and use adsense. When a site declined to the extent it can’t pay… how many visitors is it getting? Alexa says every page gets 1 view a day.

That is how a scam works. The owners of Bubblews virtually admitted the scam… they were interviewed… (I’d have to search for the interview…) The chaps were from India, borrowed money $10k from one of their fathers, and had to repay and did… and then were left with this site which they milked, then took down. What I found at Bub. is that those from the US were paid. Those from 4th world were not. The thing about viewers… well..that’s kind of tricky for we would have to write American English on American topics to get American views. |

The problem may be that your English isn’t so wonderful so a person might not know exactly what you are asking. Write an article of 300 words. Find a nice photo to match it and publish it. That’s all. No sex, no bad language and you will be fine. |

Too many people have told me it takes too long for a payout. I have been a member less than a full month and I like to write. But it takes about 24 hours for them to approve. I think it will take 3/4 mos for a payout even if I write A LOT and participate A LOT. Maybe once I’m not a Newbie they won’t have to moderate? |

It is discouraging. Years ago there was a site like this and what happened is that users would post here, wait four hours, post somewhere else. The other site would publish and they’d come back, delete or leave it to be bounced. |

I don’t know about the new site. I know at Blogjob the payout was $25 and it would take me one month and a week to reach it. I was paid a couple times. What I think is that there are not many sites people use. For example, I happened to be on mylot when someone mentioned this site and I kind of dragged my feet a little… but it seems fine here… I haven’t been her a whole month and have not even made 1/2 the payout… so I imagine to reach pay out, if you write a lot maybe it will take 4 months |
