Of course it is a Deliberate attempt to slow down earnings so that you will be paid every other month.  That is the purpose.  It’s not a bunch of overworked mods, drinking coffee, working to read and pass… this is deliberate.

It is one of the many scams….

Instead of having you write, put in, then wait and wait and complain, they stop you at the gate.  You can’t put in for a redemption until you have $10. And you won’t make $10 in a month.

If i had not run from the site after the first stupidity with image I would do the same thing.  So you write your fingers off and don’t know if you will get 1c or $1?

I may fall for scams but that one… my dog wouldn’t fall for that one.

As a Matter of fact, I have.   I’ve taken the item, enlarged it and published a number of them.   So the possibility is real.  I know two good ebook sites… free… so you can take the item, and now having to puff it a bit to make their 2.5k minimum, you put in the details, enlarge the information that you would have left out for an item that you felt ought not be longer than 1k words.

I was on and am still on Hubpages and earn pennies…I haven’t had a payout for years.  It’s a pathetic site.   You earn faster her and at mylot.

Just imagine you do a post… a good post.  One of those nice long in depth posts.  Then you are contacted by a mod for an ‘image’  What is this?  You search for an image, you find one… done.

NOOOOO

So when I’m looking at the post… I didn’t write that.  It was butchered.  I don’t know what they pay, but unless it is 1k an article…no editing.

I once found a short story I had written on another site under another name and nearly fell off my chair.  I was so upset I wrote a garbled message and thank goodness I had the sense to get up and take a breath and then rewrite the message.

Too many people do not understand copyright law.  They are too stupid to hire an attorney, too stupid to understand its definition.

Since we are dealing with stupid people who don’t understand the term ‘Fair Use’ .

To put it simply, the same image I could have used on Hubpages, Wikinut, Mylot, here, would be unacceptable at BB.

I posted an excellent piece.   I got a note and came over.  Oh, they liked my article but wanted some kind of image.   So my article was available for editing.

When I saw how they had brutalised my item I was so upset  I instantly deleted it and ran from the site.

This is not editing where one makes a spelling and/or grammatical mistake, this is changing my work.  No.

And on top of it is the idiots who don’t understand “Fair Use” which is the way we can use images.

Wow!   I mean I can understand if in 2014 you posted an item about Queen Victoria and then re read it, fix it up..(after all your writing ability has to improve over time…right?) add some new facts, or change the focus, and publish it, (cause that’s not plagiarism) and just cut and paste.

When a site is this slow, it is clear they are clamping down on the revenue you could earn.  Hence; if it is $10 on the 10th…. and you join June 1, you post and post and post, and by June 10 maybe you have $1.00  By July 10 you have $9.00, so you don’t reach payout until 10 August.  And are Supposed to be paid in September.

I feel very strongly the site is going down the toilet.   The owners have been gaming us from start with their slow moderation to make sure that it takes three months for us to get our first pay out.

This site might be a scam.

The site can’t pay; so prevents you from reaching pay out by delaying moderation.

Although I am a fairly new member, the delay in moderation suggests to me that the owners can not pay the writers, hence try to prevent the writer from reaching the threshold.

As one can not be certain that this site will survive I would suggest no one bother submit anything else until the backlog is cleared.  So far, items I posted Thursday are still awaiting moderation.
