Since I got the Bike back I’ve been going to the Supermarket every other day instead of once a week. It’s kind of a nice outing. View

I had 206 responses.  Wow!  I thought I was so popular!  Then… I began to respond… wait a minute!  It was one person!   I didn’t say anything…I just went to work.  When I got back, all of the comments were gone.

People join sites that Claim to pay High because someone, a SHILL tells them this.   A person is on LB and suddenly in rushes a bunch of people posting;  “Tiny Cents pays High!”  They say, “I just phoned the owner and he says…”  and people BELIEVE this.

We have not moved to the stage that we appreciate the possibility that there are con men and con women on a site who are there to rip you off.

You just have to not believe the hype.

Shill is an English term which has been in use for centuries.  A Shill is a person who ‘pimps’ for a site.  That is, a person is hired to walk around and advertise and acclaim something.

For example, you’re in the supermarket and someone employed by Kraft, (for example) comes up to you to say how great their macaroni is.  As s/he is wearing a Kraft shirt you know this person is being paid by Kraft to say how great the product is.

But suppose Kraft paid a bunch of average shoppers to stand by the display and say how great the product was…?

These people are ‘Shills’.  They know they are Shills.  They are being Paid.

Now there are those who write for various sites who are paid to say how great the site is.   But there are foolish people who receive one or two payments from the site and run around saying how great it is.

They don’t realise they are putting their good name on that site, which might be a scam.

Anyone who touts a site; that is, raves about, is willing to swear it is legit is either 1) the owner 2) a friend of the owner 3) a shill  4) or one of those, “I was always paid!”  dupes who are used.

Let me be blunt, I write on this site.  They do pay me.  I don’t run around shrieking. “LB is a Great Site!  I wAs always Paid! Come to LB” because I am not the kind of person who EVER puts my reputation on the line for anything I can’t control.

I only swear for anything that I Know As a Fact,   If I was Physically Present when something happened to the extent I could give Sworn Evidence in Court.   If you tell me something, the best I can and will say is that You Said.

Now I admit, my reputation is probably more important to me that it is for most people.  So Most People can swear for things beyond their control.  I can’t.  And I am very suspicious when anyone who doesn’t have control of the treasury is claiming someone will be paid.

I have had to shove items into categories they might not really belong because there are not specific enough.

The new editing aps are pretty helpful in gauging how many words and the title and hopefully the edit will rescue me.

A ‘Shill’ is a person who lures others to a site.  They go on writing sites and post great things about some new site.  They claim to have been paid, they claim gaining so much money.

Others read what they post, believe them, and go onto the site.  In some cases, like Bubblews, everyone was paid the first time.  Only about 30% were paid the second time.   Those who were paid, and those who know they are Shills would run around and say…”Oh, I’ve always been paid  You weren’t paid because You broke the Rules!”

I only trust people who tell their simple experience.  For example, if I were asked about LB I would tell my experience.  Nothing more.  I would put what I know to be the facts out there.

When those Shills from Tiny Cents began to rave about it… I backed away.

A time ago I think we discussed something about ‘Shills’ who lure people to join sites.   I recall someone was posting what a great site it was and bragging and I said, nope.

You see, an honest person will say;  “Well, I joined X site and their redemption level is $10 and it took me a month to reach that level and I put in and they paid me in a day.  I don’t know if they’ll pay me again, but have $9.90 and will prob. put in tomorrow and see if I’m paid.”

When I saw the clowns posting all kinds of; “I called the owner and spoke to him and …”

Nope.

I heard the same things about them that you did, at the start, and never joined.  I had the feeling that they weren’t going to pay.

That is what I see..  the site is going down the toilet … it was a flop from start.  It can’t pay, (which is why, of course there was so much confusion as to ‘rates’.

I am so glad I ran

probably just trying to get you into conversation

That is rather sad.  Are you sure this is a real person?  I got one of those friend requests and it was one of those scammers.  ‘my dear’ and all sorts of friendly stuff, so I contacted the owners.

I like to read the book first.  Then I watch the movie to see how far it goes from the book or how close it keeps.

Two crazy things are ‘Sherlock’ and ‘Merlin’.

Having read the Sherlock Holmes stories and the legend of King Arthur, these two television programs totally deviate from ‘canon’.  Sherlock is set today, and Merlin recreates the legend, totally differently…. YET

I adore Sherlock and Merlin.

When you comment, instead of, ‘nice’ or some other fling away remark, you write something.  You make it seem that you’ve read the item, that you’ve understood it, or not, and that you have something to say.  In this way you can engage people in discussion.
