I think they have one of those egos which will harm them in life. I think if they just opened up and were a little less pretentious they’d see that people are not as bad as they think.

I think it is a false pride. An attitude that “I don’t need anyone’s help!” So they stumble and fall and don’t let other people help them. |

I am not shilling for the site, I just say, when I want to get something out, I go there, network it, put it on Facebook…. open a discussion to say. I just joined basically… because the slow modding here was stifling me. I haven’t reached the payout yet… I’ll tell you when I do. |

A lot of people don’t ask for help. They need it, but they feel they can’t. |

The site just allows you to type, post, publish. When something runs into your mind… at least for me, that’s how I write. Something bursts into my mind and I start typing. Now if it’s a ‘How To..’ or something like that which isn’t ‘topical’, fine. But when it’s coming on the back of a BBC broadcast, I can’t afford to post today and by Sunday or Monday it appears, for then…it is stale. |

Triond published me right away, and paid me well. I often made $50 a month as a ‘standard’. The only prob here, as I said, was the slow moderation |

One can write for as many or as few sites as they desire, it is not an ‘either/or’ one doesn’t have to quit LB to write elsewhere. One can write on as many sites as they desire. The only point that was being made was the fact if something ‘happens’ and I want to get the news out there first… I have to go to another site which publishes immediately. |
|
The original paradigm for online writing was basically, ‘we give you free space, you write and we share the coin your hits produce’. In ancient days, Triond, for example, would earn 1c per every 3 views. The writer would earn 1c for every 6 views. Hence, Ulsterman obtained 1M views with his ‘Whitehouse Insider’ and the coin was divided half and half. The more popular the item, the more hits, the more coin.

The earnings are NOT in the hands of the Writer. You may write ten brilliant pieces, but they sit and wait until moderation. Three may be published, and 7 may continue to sit. Hence, the earnings via writing articles are limited. One is lucky to earn $10 a month from writing |

I am new there… and haven’t reached the pay out yet. The money mounts slowly, paid by views. Some people will post a photograph…(it does photography) Some write very short items. Payout is at $10.00 and I have only gotten about $4.19 so far. My problem here is the topical item…and the slow moderation
|

With other sites, it is when I want to get something out there NOW. If I have a bulletin, well considering that the other day the 3 items I posted on Sunday weren’t published until Thursday… you can see that what I need to say NOW can’t be said here. I’ve been paid myself… so my only complaint is the slow modding. |

A person can be on more than one site… |
|
How much have you been paid to tout the site? Normal people, average people, don’t march around defending some site. Only those who are connected would do so. Tinycent made a number of infractions only possible if one is running a scam site. There’s your evidence. |

I am very sorry, but I can’t stop myself from admitting that I knew it was a fraud from the first and even wrote here and warned people about it. |
|
If you look at the various items published there, by myself and others you’ll see many interesting articles. The point is, when I look at my account and see I have 3 items here waiting moderation… well I don’t feel like making it four. |
