@bestwriter I think what the admin meant is no matter who is bringing more revenue to the site, the site will still pay us equally depending on our activity. Mylot eaning is displayed in 4 decimal points too, I wonder if BlogBourne will be something similar to mylot, or not.

Yes, if I am not mistaken, the ad revenue is not based on where we are, but who viewed the blog. If we can generate more traffic from the first tier countries, such as US, we will generate more revenue too. So if I can get one visitor from US, it’s still earning more than getting 10 visitors from other country, such as Malaysia. I don’t remember how the tiers are, I just know my country is not in the first tier which generate much more revenue.

I remember reading from BJ, if one keeps writing blog posts but not sharing the posts, it does not really generate any traffic or revenue to the site. So I guess besides writing good articles, we should always share and hopefully bring more traffics to the site too.

I like to update my wall whenever I feel like writing any short update about my status or thoughts. I do read other members’ updates sometimes, but not very often too. I should check out their updates more often after reading this. I am happy someone has read mine actually. Thanks @bestwriter 🙂

Actually I find it not so easy to read members’ update here, as compared to BJ. I used to always check out others’ updates and comment too. Perhaps I should get myself more familiar with the members’ update here.

Though I have unlimited Internet access, I still hope the videos will not be auto played, as they certainly slow down my computer.

I understand the team is trying to find more ways to bring revenue to the site, I hope they are just testing this out and will consider our feedback. Perhaps as @swalia mentioned, maybe the video ads can be placed on certain pages, but not all forum pages, or it would be better if the auto play feature can be turned off. I personally do not like to visit a site where the audio is auto played, I would choose to stay away from the site.

I am a morning person now. I used to like staying up late and wake up late as well. I did that as there were things to do and I just could not let myself go to bed earlier even when I was tired or sleepy. Because I slept late, I could not get up early too. I tried to sleep early and get up early, but I always could not get up early.

I learned to sleep early and wake up early when I became a mother. I used to sleep together with my eldest son, and got up to do ,my work after he fell asleep. I was very tired. Then I took the advice from my homeschooling mentor, which is to wake up early in the morning. It might not be easy at the beginning, but after some time, I just got used to it.

I have more time to spend in the morning, and I am healthier now. I always knew sleeping late harmed my health. 😛

@peachpurple @grecy095 has replied you very well. It is hard to know what the pay rate is, as the payment scheme is a secret in mylot. It is not easy for me to figure it out.

I do not think it is merely depending on how much comments we receive in our discussions, as some mylotters do not write their own discussions but only respond to others’, and they are making money too. I read in FAQ, the key to earn there is to participate:

– start discussions

– respond to others’ discussions

– reply to the responses in our discussions

Note: They call it discussions instead of posts.

Though it’s paying quite low, I always like mylot as I can write freely (no word limit, no daily limit,no topic limit), I can really write what’s in my mind like how I did in Bubblews. Another reason is, mylot is legit and paying. I have not heard anyone not getting paid when they should before.

Perhaps you can give it a try. 🙂

@sunil Congratulations on your third redemption, and a big amount too! I would be happy if I can earn that amount in a month from all sites. 🙂

I do not have any redemption story to share for this month, I am still far away from the minimum payout, though I hope I can redeem in August.

Good to hear that you have such a systematic way to do all your tasks. This is really what I should learn and have been learning so far – How to juggle everything in my plate.

It’s nice to read the comments regarding another site too. I have joined that site, but am also too busy to participate much yet. I am fine with not knowing the coin value yet, and thought it would be a good place for me to blog, but SEO articles you mention stop me now. Though I would like to learn more about blogging or SEO, perhaps not now when I am always holding my baby and type. 😀

I just noticed the voting system has been removed when I wanted to vote up a post. I wonder if the voting system is totally removed, or there will be something new in future. I remember previously support mentioned, the points help to determine our rank, and some forum functionalities might open for different ranks (such as edit). But now, when the voting system is not here, I am not sure how our rank is determined.

I copied one of the responses support replied to the voting system in this thread.

Ranking and voting system is one of the factor that will help you in getting promoted to the next level as the current level being “Newbie”. Once you are promoted, you have more options to earn and additional capabilities.

@lovern I do not think there is any incentive related to the points given. It’s to determine our rank as I mentioned earlier, but now I think we need @support to clarify this, as the voting system is gone now.

I do not know if the admin has amended his post in the forum, I read this statement before the statement you mentioned:

Our Principle of Equality
We believe that no matter where you are in the world, you have same the value in terms of advertising revenues.

I am just thinking the admin wants everyone to be paid the same, even though the advertising values are different for people around the world. They will gather all the ad revenue, then pay the same to every member according to the coins we have earned. So, no matter which country we are from, the coin conversion rate will still be the same.

What  he stated about different advertising values for different countries is true, but he does not want to repeat the same mistake as some other blogging sites did. Though some other blogging sites pay the same to members all around the world, but because the advertising values they earn are different, so it might be difficult for the blogging sites to sustain at long run.

This is what I understood from his post. Hope I did not misunderstand him, and hope the site will have long life as he mentioned. 🙂

@scc2046 Yes, I guess Bubblews was the site where we can really make good money from. I even treated it as my part time job. For a stay at home mom, the earnings I made in Bubblews did help a lot. But, I am not sure if the ad revenue Bubblews gained was really enough to pay us. Why the admin suddenly realized there was a problem with their payment scheme after paying huge amount of money for so long?

I think we might not have such program, as many will learn from the mistakes Bubblews made.

I started blogging quite some time ago, just created a personal blog in Blogger, and got adsense. I was not into making money online yet, as my initial idea was just to write and share. I did add in adsense ad after learning it from other bloggers, but I did not pay attention to the rules, and hence I was banned by adsense. It was a big mistake I have made, and I think they do not allow second chance. I did added ads from another local ad network, and earned MYR50 (around USD12) after sometimes. But I have neglected my personal blog for a long time, hence I did not earn any from it anymore. I just checked my page rank dropped from 2 to 0 now. 😀

I wish I can learn more about blogging, and hopefully to earn from my own blog. I will need to spend time learning, and trying to get it work soon. Besides ad revenue, I am hoping to earn from affiliate programs too.

I usually just tag support in the forum and he or she replied quite quickly. I did message support once to ask him to help me to edit my blog post that has been published, and he made the very quickly too. I think the support and admin are quite responsive. That was in the first month I joined in May. I am not sure how responsive they are now. Perhaps when there are more members, and there is lacking of staff, they might reply slower.

Have you tried to tag support in the forum?

@bestwriter Me too. When I read the notification, I thought LB is giving away some awards again. But I do not think I would receive it this time, as I have not been contributing much to the site in these two months. I hope I will be able to spend more time here.

I joined LiteracyBase on 4 May. I remember reading about this site in ForumCoin a few days before I joined, but I have not spend time to look further into it and decide to join yet. I decided to join after recommended by @sunil. I think he is good at these online earning opportunities, he does not just simply join any sites without looking into it, so I just signed up as I trust his judgment. 😀

I still remember the night when I joined, the site was so quiet as there was not much members yet, and I did not know what to do. Since it was quite late at night, I went to sleep without checking much about the site. The next day when I logged in, there were more members and the site started to have more activities. The more I found out about the site, the more excitement I had, hence I was just stuck here, in my first month.

Though I have other more important commitment now and hence I am not as active as I was, I sincerely hope this site always stays and works well too, as it’s a nice place to communicate with others.

Though I know we will earn better by writing blog posts, I am not good at writing SEO articles as it is easier for me to just write about my life and my thoughts, I am not sure if these posts will be approved by LiteracyBase. I wish I can write 10 posts daily like I did in Bubblews, then it’ll certainly help me to earn faster. 😀

I actually earn more from commenting in forums. I enjoy interacting with others, and I do not need to come up with any topics, but just respond, though the pay is much lesser than a blog post, I am fine with it. Moreover, it takes me more time to prepare a blog post, as I will also need to look for image to create a featured image. It’s simpler to do a comment in forum. I see you are very active in forum commenting too, and you are always good to come up with new topics. 🙂

Yes, the longer your comment is, the more you earn as well. If I am not mistaken, the range for the comment is from $0.001 to $0.02. So, it would be better if you write longer comment, same as the blog post.

As peach mentioned, you will earn 15 cents for 300 word post and 22 cents for 500 post. But I have also read the pay rate does not only vary according to the word count, but also the quality. That is SEO articles might get to earn better. I have not personally try this out yet as I do not have much time to write  blog posts lately too.

Besides writing blog posts and commenting in forum, it’s advisable to share the posts here to others too. Not only it will allow you to earn, it also helps to bring traffic to the site. You can share your own posts or others’ by adding your referral code to the end of the post URL.
