@4cryingoutloud It’s good to hear someone has been rewarded. Good for you! I think every small amount counts! Moreover, sometimes it can be good to do something different, so to make making money online more fun.

I wish there are something similar that open to other countries as well, I do hope I can earn a little bit by searching, as I have been searching a lot every day, for work or personal purposes.

Have you tried Gift Hunter Club? I just remembered this site. I joined a few years ago, and got paid once ($2 via PayPal). I am not sure if I am still eligible to work on that site, as I have no idea if the site has changed, as I read that it does not open for all countries actually. I remember I used to be able to join Bing Rewards when it was first launched, but now it doesn’t open to other countries. I will check Gift Hunter Club and see how it is now.

@slayer08 Yes, I think PTC sites are pretty slow earning sites, and it depends on our location as well. I have heard some from US can earn pretty fast, as they get more ads and ads with higher rate too.

I still click on some trusted PTC sites, as I usually just click ads while I am doing something else, as it doesn’t really disturb me, but helps me to earn a little bit. I usually make only $0.05 or less from one PTC site a day. It’s not a fun thing to do, but it doesn’t require much effort too.

I just joined Ayuwage, and it seems like it’s a faster earning PTC site. I have made $0.5 when I first joined last night. I will see how long it takes me to reach the first payout.

I also do surveys in ClixSense, so it helps me to earn faster there. If there are good surveys that I can be qualified, I might make $10 in a month.

@morgoodie I always forgot to mention, the minimum payout at EasyHits4u is $3.

@morgoodie I have heard some mylotters in US using swagbucks and it seems like it’s good for them. How about Bing Rewards? Have you joined the site? I think it also opens for US residents only. Though it’s earning slow, I think if you can earn a little bit by searching, it’s good too since we are searching a lot almost everyday.

@grecy095 I agree with you on Ayuwage. I just joined yesterday, and I was quite surprise to have made $0.5 there. I usually earn less than $0.05 per day in clixsense or neobux. But, I need to pay more attention when clicking the ads in Ayuwage, I might miss out something and get warning. 😀

It seems like you are doing good at UH. I do not usually get tests to do, but it’s a nice and fun site to work with.

@slayer08 Good that you are doing good at MTURK. Perhaps you can write a post about how to use it, so others can learn from it too. 🙂

Thanks @admin for working on that. It seems like you have been working really hard. Thank you for all the effort.

@ruby3881 The picture you added is really cute. I like it very much! Did you use GIMP to do that as well?

@lovern On the top left corner of the site, you’ll see HOME, then Blog. Go to Blog, then you will find Dashboard there. There we can check whether our posts are pending for approval, or go live. After our posts are published, we will also find our posts there, with the status “Live” and we can just click on them to visit the posts.

@slayer08 I encountered the page you mentioned yesterday too. I think the team was working on it or updating the blog site. It’s okay now, so we can post new blog post again and check our dashboard too.

@dawnwriter We get the earnings shown in “My History” section once our post is approved and published. As peachpurple mentioned, we will get earning for each referring visitor, same as view, but they have to go through our post referral link, if I am not mistaken.

My post was approved within 24 hours, and the earning was immediately shown in “My History” section. I saw the earning before I knew my post was published. 😀

@grecy095 Cross stitching and hand sewing certainly count! I haven’t really get used to machine sewing yet, so I still prefer hand sewing. I am actually always doing these handwork (knitting, crocheting or hand sewing) while I am watching some webinars with my computer or reading articles at the same time. I guess it’d be nice to do these while watching TV as well.

I have the motivation to do all these handwork because of my children. It’s just nice to make something with our hands to our children, just like how @morgoodie ‘s mom did.

My mom did sew us clothes when we were young, and now sometimes she and my mother in law also made some clothes for my children. It seems like machine sewing is more popular in my country, but not other handwork. Not many people here learned how to knit and crochet. But I have met some Philippines people here and they learned how to crochet when they were young. So, it seems like over there, there are still many people crocheting, am I right?

@sunil So, did you just use the Share button at the bottom of the post (where you can get about 200 more sites to share), without manually adding or modifying your referral code, and you got the referring visitor earnings?

There are two sets of share icons:

One is just below the post, below the rating. When I tweet, I got this URL: http://172.104.9.193/simple-guide-literacybase-newbie/

The other set is below the related post, though I saw the post URL with my referral code next to the pin it button: addthis:url=”www.literacybase.com//simple-guide-literacybase-newbie/?mref=kaka135″>

But when I tweet, I got this URL: http://172.104.9.193/simple-guide-literacybase-newbie/#.Vy3ODwfQqeZ.twitter

Is the second URL included our referral code? Or I am thinking if there’s something missing in the HTML code, just next to the pin it button. @support , perhaps you can help to look into this. Thanks.

@peachpurple Yes, currently I am just manually copy and paste my post URL attached with my referral code to the social media sites one by one too, because I am still not sure if the share buttons are working fine.

@morgoodie Yes, whenever I am using my computer, I always turn on EasyHits4u, and another PTC site. I work on them together. As other PTC sites always run out of ads to click, so I always just leave my EasyHits4u there and keep clicking when I am doing other tasks with my computer. Yes, it’s slow, but it doesn’t require much effort.

I have sent you a PM in FC. Thanks. 🙂

There are some surf prizes after you have surfed for a number of sites, such as 25, 50, 75, 100, 150, 200, 250, 500, 750, 1000 in a day. Well, I have not go beyond 800 in a day so far. So, when you have surfed 25 sites, remember to click on the button on the page to claim for your surf prize. These prizes can be credits (to display your ad), banner ad, text ad, and sometimes cash (a few cents). These are not big prizes, but something nice to catch. 😀

Also, there are weekly bonus. Say, if the weekly bonus is to collect 12 gold, then you’ll get the bonus of 300 credits. When you claim the surf prize, it can be these “gold” as well. I think this is just something fun and small bonuses for us.

@peachpurple My mom speaks Cantonese in her home, and my dad spoke another Chinese dialect (similar to Hakka), but when they met each other, they spoke in Mandarin. I guess that’s why we spoke Mandarin since we were young. Both of them are Chinese educated and so we are.

I can’t speak my own Chinese dialect as well, we only speak Mandarin at home. I know Cantonese, because most Ipoh people speak Cantonese. As for Hokkien, there are actually still many people who speak Hokkien, such as the northern part and also Klang. These are all Hokkien speaking areas, so most people know how to speak even though they are not Hokkien. We might be able to learn a bit here and there, I guess just like how you learned Mandarin at work. I agree that it’d be good to know some Chinese dialects, especially our own mother tongue and also those commonly used ones. Perhaps we can start learning them online now. 😀

@amna83 That’s interesting to know. May I know where you are from and what language is that to call Ammi and Abbu?

May 7, 2016 at 7:43 am

@ruby3881 Then, that’s really long! For my three pregnancies, I always feel quite sick in my first trimester, and also ended around 4 months. So, I couldn’t do much in these four months. I didn’t really expect someone having the morning sickness until nearly deliver, though I read about it from the Internet. Well, it’s all over now. 🙂

When I was having the uneasy feeling, I kept telling myself, this too shall pass. I would feel much better very soon, and it’s all the best for the baby.  😀

@morgoodie It’s so nice of your mom! I always think it’s something good for the mothers to teach the children and do together with the children. Your childhood life must be really wonderful with all these handwork activities. My mom was a tailor and she was working at home and sewing the clothes or shoes for others, but none of us learned how to sew from her. We did help out to sew the buttons or fold the clothes sometimes, but not much. Now that I have become a mother, I always think it’s nice to teach and do these activities together with the children.

Besides learning the skills, my children also learn to do things on their own, instead of buying. Hence they seldom ask to buy things or toys, perhaps I have always been telling them we can do things on our own, and it’s more fun and they like it as well.

My elder son, who is 7, still enjoys making all these things together with me, he has been doing these or seeing me to these since he was young. Perhaps your son is a bit older now, so you might need to find more challenging or purposeful work for him. Does he like to make paper craft? Something more challenging like 3D origami. How about woodworking, gardening or building something? I read that boys or men like to build something or troubleshooting. 😀

@morgoodie Yes, I agree with you, though the c-sections were not planned, as long as the children are healthy and well, we are happy. That’s why I chose to have c-section as well, as I didn’t want to take the risk after trying hard for quite some time and my first child still couldn’t get out. Though many of my friends have commented I should keep trying after my baby was born, I just ignored them. I did not want to risk my baby’s life and mine too. Sometimes it’s just difficult to explain to someone when they are in the situation.

My doctor advised me to try vaginal birth on my second one, but if it’s over due date, and the baby still did not want to come out, then I have to go through the c-section again too. For the third one, the doctors have already said, it must be a c-section.

Sorry for your loss. It’s definitely very hard for a mother and the family. Like what suny said, let’s be thankful for what we have.

@ruby3881 So, there are actually some conditions we should not take too much citrus. Thanks for telling me that. I like tomato, and I have never thought about it!

Thanks again for telling me about the ginger. It’s okay now, as I am going to deliver my baby very soon and glad that the morning sickness is over.

I just read this homemade cough syrup, which is using one ingredient – pineapple! I didn’t know pineapple is good for healing cough. According to the recipe, it’s optional but you can also add lemon juice, honey, sea salt and cayenne pepper.

You can read more about this recipe here:

@admin Thanks admin for the clarification. Is that how I should enter the referral code? Just attach it at the back of the post URL?

May 7, 2016 at 12:33 am

@4cryingoutloud I can imagine you must have joined too many sites that you have forgotten many of them. I used to join many sites too, but now I just stick to a few that are legit and paying, and fun to do as well. 😀

@morgoodie EasyHits4u is actually not considered as PTC site, but traffic exchange site. The purpose of traffic exchange site is  actually you click and view the ad, then you’ll get one credit for displaying your own ad. But, there is this bonus from EasyHits4u, where you will earn $0.30 for clicking 1000 ads. It’s just $0.0003 per ad. I know it’s very low, and even lower than the PTC ad, but there’s no limit of ad that you can click daily. Sometimes I might be able to click up to 700 ads, then I can earn $0.30 in 2 day time. It’s actually much faster than I can earn in Neobux and ClixSense. Moreover, I can also use the credits if I want to advertise my sites. Since I always work with my computer, so I just open the site while I am doing my work. It doesn’t take much of my effort to do so, but perhaps I can earn up to $10 per month.
