@swalia Yes, I agree with ruby, don’t be discouraged. I believe there are ways that we can earn better here, we just need to find it out, as support said this to us as well. For me, I enjoy participating in forums, as I can really learn a lot from others, and I am trying to help whenever possible too. This is the way really helps to boost my earnings. I think submitting blog posts is good too, as ruby said, we can also earn from the referring visitors, and we might get some referrals as well if we share them in social media sites or other forums. I believe the more active we are, the better earnings we will get. I am still working hard to think of a topic for my next post. 😀 @support Thank you for clarifying that, that’s really helpful for us when we are creating images for our blog posts. I have not try out snappa.io, I will definitely take a look at that as well.

@haraka Thank you for sharing more about coloring for adults. I agree with doing handwork really helps us to practice our patience and it’s actually therapeutic too. I actually prefer free form drawing. I need to learn and am learning to draw and paint, free style, as I need to teach my children (we are homeschooling family). I was taught about choosing the colors and drawing any forms we like, as those reflect our mood or emotion at the moment as well. Perhaps I will explore this coloring later. Before that, I am more interested to find out about mandala and zentangle. Those look interesting to me as well.

@melissa1024 It’s good to hear that you are doing well in ForumWheel. Have you joined Postloop? I think they are similar sites. I am with postloop, but lately the forums I joined are always disabled, so I can’t earn much from there. But, the payment is really fast as well. I joined Slicethepie a few years ago, it’s interesting, but I am not good at reviewing music. I didn’t know there’s fashion section now. Perhaps I should go there and take a look, if my account is still active. Thanks for reminding me about that site. I like mylot. It’s a site where I really enjoy and feel relaxed, as the topics I write and discuss there are mostly about life. Though some think it’s a slow earning site, at least it pays all the time. @lolaze Hi Lola, welcome to the site. You will slowly explore more opportunities when you join these sites. There are many members sharing the good opportunities online, and there’s where I learn from too. @sunil Hope you will eventually settle the PIN issue from microworkers and get paid soon. |

@heroine Good to know that you are from those sites I am joining too. I didn’t know you are on those sites as well. May I know your usernames in those sites? Perhaps we can also interact there. @sunil Yes, that’s why I do not understand how you can manage to think of so many writing topics for so many writing sites. You are just great! Or you have been trained or have good practice on this. Don’t you have writer’s block sometimes? @dawnwriter I have not heard about Earnably. It’s interesting to learn a new site. So, Earnably opens for International users as well? Have you got paid by the site? Yes, I agree with you, though we might not be able to earn a lot, it’s good that we can earn a little bit here and there, and also have some fun online too. I still go to mylot everyday, though I can’t be very active there now because I am busy on LB now. |

There were two periods in my life I was a bit plump or chubby, when I was a toddler and when I was in high school. When I showed my high school photos to my friends, they didn’t believe I was that fat. Most of my aunts are quite plump, so my family members always think I am like them too, I believed in that too. When I was in high school, I always stayed up till very late and studied, and my roommates always has a few tin of biscuits and we always ate together. I guess that’s how I became fat. I started to lose weight or slim down because of stress. Stress of exam and then later work made me worse. I did not have appetite to eat when I was stressful. Though I do not look fat now, but my belly is quite fat too, perhaps it’s because I am lacking of exercise and also I have given birth to two children. But I am sure I became healthier now, because I do not just sit in front of computer as I used to be, and I am always doing housework and also bringing my children to the park. I still think doing more exercises and eating healthier will make me healthy and fit. |

Is it okay if we write some posts about personal life? @peachpurple I haven’t really check out the blog posts yet. I will really need to find a time to read them, and also understand better what the site prefers the topics to be. @sunil Yes, I think that too. That’s why I love blogging. Hopefully the site likes these topics as well.

@bestwriter I read your blog post, and I think it looks good. I am thinking if we add the featured image, we will only be able to insert one image, but if we insert image through the toolbar or add media, we will be able to insert multiple images in the post. Hope @support will help to confirm this. I realized that my featured image in blog post will be resized to 1024 x 512, even the image size I uploaded is just 480 x 360. @peachpurple I have not try to add featured image and insert other images together, as after I have added featured image, I was told I have reached the maximum number of images. Perhaps that only applies to featured image? (1 featured image + multiple images in the post? |

@support Just for your information, I tried to attach files to the forum post, no error or warning occurred, but the file was not attached to the post. I also tried to add or change the properties of the image I inserted to the forum post (both via Add Media button or insert image icon in the toolbar), the HTML tag or is it called BB code is displayed around the image. If I remove all the image properties, then it’s displayed fine. Please see the forum post above. Thank you. Hope this helps you to troubleshoot. 🙂 |

@bestwriter So, you managed to use “Add media” button to add two images inside the blog post, am I right? I have not try that before. I usually just use the “add featured image” function. [caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="240"] @grecy095 I always uploaded my image to Flickr first, then only copy the URL here. Though it’s more troublesome to do so, I can manage my images easier, and you can also choose to upload the same image in several places. It will not eat up too much space of the site too. I am not sure if Flickr is a good image hosting, as it seems to be quite troublesome to use, but it offers 1TB space. [caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="240"] I have used “Add media” to add two images. I am wondering if these two images will be shown. Just try the third one and see how.
Okay, I have added three images. Waiting for the result. 🙂 UPDATE: It seems like I can keep adding images via the “Add Media” button. But if I configure the properties of the image (set it center, add caption), some weird words (HTML tags) appear. Sorry, just now I was trying to attach an image, but not successful. I wanted to try to attach a text file, but I was called by my little girl – she woke up in the middle of the night, so I accompanied her to sleep, and I fell asleep too. 😀 Here I am trying to attach a text file. See if it works. 🙂 UPDATE: Okay, that file attachment doesn’t seem to work for an image file and text file. So, what should it be? Perhaps @support will let us know better. 🙂

I haven’t try to use to browse a file for attachment in post before. Perhaps we can experiment and see how it works. Thanks @grecy095 for trying that out. I am thinking when we click on “Add media”, we can add the image wherever we want. But, for blog post, if we add the featured image, it’ll be displayed at the top of our post, and it might be resized to the ideal image size. Whereas while we add media, it seems like it’s just the image size as we uploaded. I am trying to add an image here.

@haraka I already started to love Tumblr! It looks so cute and fun. 😀 @sunil I still share my posts at StumbleUpon, but I just do not get really understand how it works yet. I just add page, and add it to list, and stumble some pages. I wonder if someone would stumbleuponed my page, since I do not have any followers there. @rapidblue Perhaps it will take some time. 🙂 @swalia Actually how do you know which sites bring you more traffic? Do you have any tool to track that? @morgoodie Yes, I think it looks good. It’s really easy to share and just write anything. My username is the same there, kaka135. @ruby3881 Thank you for explaining that, especially about the proper image credit. I am glad I learned that from you. It’s especially important when I design website for clients, as I would not want to violate any copyrights. As for shortlink, I have also read that some people might not like to see the referral link, so a short link might be nicer to displayed. Also, for visitors, there is no need to view the long link. I just started my “official” homeschooling journey, as my son just started his grade 1 this year, though I have never send my children to school, even kindergarten. They have just been playing at home all the time. I have heard that it’s more difficult to get resources for homeschooling in the earlier years, it’s much easier now, as there are many resources online, and also community too. So, even I don’t really have a local homeschooling community, I am blessed to have found several homeschooling groups that I can really depend on. Most of them use Facebook nowadays. Thank you for explaining about the privacy of your writers’ group. I just think it might be a bit difficult for you to control if there are many spammers in future. Of course, I know you will be able to handle it. 🙂 |

@haraka Thank you for explaning how bitlander works. This is really helpful. It made me understand much better about the site, especially about my worry (the ID submission). I am not sure if I can write 1000 word articles, it really depends on what I am writing about. I am already happy with making $10 in a month, so $10 per week is definitely a good earning for me. 😀 @sunil It’s good that you have got lots of surveys to do. Though I do some surveys, I do not enjoy as much, some can be quite boring to do, but some are quite interesting. You have been writing quite a lot. I have no idea how you can come up with so many articles for different sites. Now, I am thinking about writing for a few sites (mylot, blogjob and LiteracyBase), it’s easier for me to think of what to write in mylot, but for blogjob and LiteracyBase, I am still quite confused what to post in these two sites and not make them duplicate. I am also thinking if I should post in chatabout too. Currently, I will just concentrate on LB. 🙂 |
