@sunil You are really working hard in blogging, that’s really good. It’s good to have more posts in our blog site. I am trying to think of some topics to write, but I am still stuck in forum replies here. I guess it’s easier for me to reply than to come up with a topic and write a long article. It seems like I can write a long comment in forum easier. πŸ˜€

I think you are quite active in forum too. πŸ™‚

@peachpurple You are really a super mom, and I think you have only 7 hours to do all those things you mentioned, am I right?

Do you do all those housework everyday? Or different housework on different day?

Are you working at Bitlanders too? Do you need to register something similar to PayPal to receive bitcoins, such as coinbase? which payment method/bank do you use for bitcoins?

I am actually working on a PTC site that used to pay via PayPal. Recently PayPal has stopped their service, so now the option I can choose is pay by bitcoins. I haven’t figure out if I should just forget about the money I earned there (less than $3), or try with bitcoins. πŸ˜›

I usually like to make at least 10 posts in ForumCoin, since there are a daily limit, and also to play the forum game to try my luck. πŸ˜›

Hope you’ll reach your goal today, and it seems like you have already done quite a lot. I am still de-cluttering my living room while working on LiteracyBase & my software project. πŸ˜€

@sunil I was just thinking if you are to make it yourself, you would use the coffee maker to make your coffee, or just the coffee powder or 3-in-1 pack. πŸ˜›

I used to drink those instant coffee only, as I don’t have a coffee maker at home. My husband likes to put coffee powder and sugar, and add in boiled water. He doesn’t add milk into his coffee. The coffee he makes is local coffee, which is different from the coffee bean that we buy from the shopping center. Though I can’t drink coffee now, I still enjoy the aroma of it.

@bestwriter We usually buy the tea leaves from China or Taiwan, as we like to drink Chinese tea. It seems like it’s a good souvenir to buy if anyone is visiting these places. I am not sure about the brand, but I like Oolong/Wulong tea the most. Though I like to drink tea, I don’t drink them daily. I usually just drink plain water.

I have not thought about buying tea online, it’s good that you have found the brand you like.

@peachpurple It’s a good idea to share some pictures of our own country. I will try to find some and share later. πŸ™‚

I visited Malacca a few times, and I like the historical sites too, especially the street that sells many handcrafts. I also always visit the temple in Genting Highlands. I usually visit the temple when we came down hill. There are many statues there, and I like to tell the stories of them to my children.

Another reason I like about Genting Highlands is that, I can just walk around without needing to travel in the car. I actually do not really like to travel in car, as I always have car sick problem.

Yes, I just knew jkct01 is from Malaysia as both of you mentioned Bubur Ayam, I think. I am actually staying in Klang city, not exactly the city center. There are many shopping centers in the city center, but I seldom go there, first of all, I don’t like to be in the traffic jam, I don’t like shopping and I am always lazy to go out now. πŸ˜€

@ruby3881 I read the tooltip for vote up is “This reply is useful” and vote down is “This reply is not useful”, so I just try to vote up any comment that I think is useful. πŸ˜›

@bestwriter Yes, I am always trying to catch up with the notification and also participate in the new topics as well, but I agree with you, it isn’t easy to do so for me too. I don’t have that much time to do, and also I agree that the site loads a bit slow for me. I guess we just take our time slowly to work on what we want to. πŸ™‚

@peachpurple Good that your old friend has become calm and peaceful. I have two friends who have been practicing Buddhism for many years and meditation too, but I do not know exactly how they practiced, they were still bad temper. Some said, their temper were even worse before they practice, so perhaps meditation and practice might still be good for them.

Same here, I have two young children. When they are around, if I meditate, they might just meditate together with me for awhile, then my little girl would sit on my laps. But, I still sit for another one or two minutes, sometimes they follow too. I think it might be good for the children just sit quietly for one or two minutes, not really meditate, but it helps to quiet their inner self too.

I usually wake up much earlier than my children, so I use the time to really meditate while they are sleeping. Sometimes I “meditate” for one or two minute together with them before we go to bed, after we do some yoga. After they fall asleep, if I am still not sleepy yet, I might meditate for awhile more.

If there are ambient noise, I think you can also put on your earphones to listen to those guided meditation or meditation music, perhaps it’ll help to get rid of the noise while you are still enjoy the peace.

Sometimes when I really need some time to meditate, especially getting upset with my children, I’d ask them to leave me alone and let me meditate, then they will have a joyful mom after some time. They understand and usually will not disturb me, who wants an angry and fierce mom? πŸ˜€

@grecy095 I remember the master I attended the meditation class last time said, if we are sleepy, and meditation puts us to sleep, that means we are very tired, then just go and sleep. Your dog is cute! πŸ˜€

@swalia Yes, that’s what I learned from the class and from other masters as well and it really helped me as well. I always thought I need to be thoughtless and that’s why I always thought I couldn’t meditate.

@peachpurple Thank you for sharing that. Hubpages sound pays good, but I think it must be some valid reasons that you are not writing there anymore.

I would also prefer to write in BlogJob and LiteracyBase, these sites sound more fun to me. Moreover, I don’t think I can write a professional piece of work. I would prefer to spend time writing here casually and feeling relaxed too, while I can still concentrate on my own profession – software development and web design.

I think I am very blessed to have met many good teachers in my life, from kindergarten to primary school, and then high school. Though not all of them are my favorite teachers, I think most of them are good and dedicated teachers.

I actually have a few favorite teachers, but that’s one I really liked was my class teachers for my last two years in high school. He taught us Chemistry in the first year, and Additional Maths in the second year. I liked the way he taught, and he was always willing to stay back in school and answer our questions or give us extra class, without needing us to pay. Some schools or teachers here give extra class after school, but they require students to pay for a tuition fee. But, my teacher spent his after work time or school holiday to give us extra class without receiving any money from us. As a class teacher, he also sided us and protected us a lot, like his own children. Some of the student couldn’t advance to the next grade as their exam results were not good, but because of him, he said he wanted all the students to go to the next grade, and he was responsible for it. Hence, that year, all of us were going to the next grade together. All of us are grateful for him helping us to do this. It would be very sad to see our classmates not being able to move to the next grade.

@peachpurple I like your son’s idea, though I have no idea what a Gargantuar is. Nowadays the students can just easily whatsapp the teachers? It sounds so convenient! πŸ˜€

I always think a homemade card is a good idea. We used to draw cards, and some students organize to sell roses in school too, so we just bought the roses from the students and gave to the teacher.

I remember there was once, when I was in high school, our whole class bought a quite expensive watch to our class teacher, to show our appreciation. But he was angry with us. He thinks we should study hard, and not spend too much money on unnessary stuffs. Moreover, he’d be happy if we just draw him a simple card or greet him happy teacher’s day. Though we were quite disappointed, we understood the good intention of this teacher, as he was not rich and he would not like us to simply spend money.

Besides handmade cards, I think anything handmade by the students are good, such as the paper rose you suggested, and also some sewing or knitting work if the children know how to do.

@grecy095 I will need to save your birthday in my calendar too, I am very forgetful. Perhaps we can have a birth date thread here. πŸ™‚

@dawnwriter It’s good that you can start donating your child’s clothes now. I am still keepingΒ  a lot of children’s clothes because I am still pregnant with my third baby. I would be happy to donate all the children’s clothes once my children are outgrown from those. πŸ˜€

I am not buying any more things into our home, but I have received many hand me downs, especially children’s clothes from my friends. These are useful, but I have to pack them nicely until my children are old enough to wear them, so it requires space to store them. Since my third baby is a baby boy, and this is most probably be my last child, so I started to pack my little girl’s clothes that she can’t wear any more and give away to others. I also gave away most of my maternity wear, just leave a few for me to wear in these few weeks.

It’s such a nice feeling to get rid of stuffs! πŸ˜€

May 16, 2016 at 10:39 am

@peachpurple I like how you look at them differently – decorative items!!
For my husband’s stuffs, I have to leave them to my husband as well. Mostly, his stuffs are papers. Sometimes I just packed them together in a reusable bag, and let him handle himself, as I can’t help him to do so too. Seriously, he wouldn’t like me to accidentally throw what he wants away.

Do you mean you can’t give away those faulty electronic items and those used papers? Because your husband still wants them? I used to keep the used papers to recycle vendor, but now I am too lazy to keep and wait for the vendor to come, so I just pack them properly and put them out for the garbage collectors. I heard that they will actually separate the recyclable stuffs and send them to different places. So, I think it’s good for them to earn a few cents too, and it’s quicker for me to get rid of the clutter.

@morgoodie That’s really good to have a family member to help out, especially she loves your children so much. Yes, I think it’s really difficult to be a single parent, it’s really not easy for you at all, glad that you have your sister with you.

What rewards do you get for commenting on blog posts? Do you mean some coins as usual or there is something extra? I did not notice that, but I know we get coins for approved comment link after I have commented on the blog post.

Good luck in your goals and yard sale too! πŸ™‚

May 16, 2016 at 7:59 am

So, your grandson is quite big enough to help you click the ads. πŸ™‚

I have encountered some surveys from clixsense where I am not eligible to do as well, but sometimes when I am lucky enough, I have got a few surveys to do in a month, and I can reach the minimum payout within a month. For surveys, I guess sometimes we just need to try them out, but it doesn’t mean we will get them done all the time. Of course, I understand sometimes time is really wasted for not being able to complete it and earn.

May 16, 2016 at 7:52 am

@morgoodie It’s good that you have your own Facebook page. Is that the one you created for the direct sales business? Hope you’ll get some family or friends who are interested in reading those posts too. I can actually try sharing some good posts there as well. Though my friends are not interested in making money online or writing, they might get inspired by some good posts too. Thanks for the reminder. πŸ™‚

@sunil How do you track which site or which posts brings you the traffic? Do you have any tool to keep track of that? I am not sure if sharing at different time will make a difference.

@ruby3881 I am interested in signing up for Buffer too, but I have not do so yet. So, Buffer and HootSuite are good to complement one another. I will check them out, and hopefully it will help me to do some social media sharing when I might not be available online later. πŸ™‚

@swalia Thanks for sharing bloglovin. I have heard about it but not yet check it out too.

May 16, 2016 at 7:27 am

@ruby3881 Thanks for telling me about the copyright. I read that from you in another thread.
I am happy that you know about Waldorf and Charlotte Mason. I am quite interested in Charlotte Mason as well, but I have not really look into it yet. There is another educational approach, Reggio Emilia Approach which is quite interesting too.
I am not sure if I really want to share my homeschooling blog at the moment, but I will definitely work on it later, as I think it might be helpful for those who want to homeschool.
Do you still have your homeschooling blog? Would you mind sharing?

@melissa1024 I think if you set up your own website or blog, you might be able to earn well if you really spend time and study about how to do it. I enjoy the social part of these writing sites as well, and learning from each other too.

@swalia It’s only 2 weeks, and the admin already gave up? So, there’s really nothing else you can do with your profile and posts? Then I’d prefer how Bubblews did, at least he closed down the site, though I would like to retrieve my posts there.
