To review my goals I set yesterday:

LiteracyBase

  • I have submitted two posts, and now awaiting for approval. There might be too many posts submitted over the weekend, and the team needs to take more time to review, or they really need a good rest after working hard for the past week.
  • I have earned almost 80 cents in a day, just by commenting in forums, without the earnings from the blog posts. I didn’t expect to earn so much, as I was also working on my software project while commenting, and I didn’t feel stressful at all, just enjoyed my time. 🙂
  • I have read more than 5 blog posts. There are more posts to be read, so hopefully I can spend time to read all of them.

Others

  • I am glad I have done another small section in my software project, though I was stuck in the evening, I thought of a solution before I slept last night, so I am going to try it out later.
  • My living room is much organized now, though there are still a small area undone yet. My children have tidied up the play room. So today we will move on to the next area.
  • I didn’t spend time on myLot, but ForumCoin and other PTC sites.

By the way, I have just reached $7. Hope I will be able to gain another $3 very soon, before I deliver. 😀

@morgoodie My 7 year old son also likes to help me to click on ads, so I understand how your children think. They feel good when they are able to help, and make some money for us. 😀

When I was still writing at Bubblews, my son also always said he wants to write too. I was hoping it’d be good if Bubblews stays for long term, then when my son was old enough, he could join and write as well. I think joining those writing sites might be good for them. It seems like a healthy and more beneficial online activity. 😀

@sebaonciu Hi, welcome to LiteracyBase! Hope you will enjoy spending your time here.

I have not heard about LogiPTC, has it been around for long time? It’s good that you didn’t invest money in PTC sites, I did a little bit, earned some and lost some. It’s okay, I have learned from my experience, and now I do not invest any money in it. It might be good to try out some new sites, hope they are legit and paying! 🙂

@morgoodie I agree with you, no matter how the site goes, we have gained experience. We have also learned new things, met new friends, and enjoyed our time here.

I don’t mind trying out, moreover it’s just a month, then we should be able to know whether the site is paying. I think it’s worth to give it a try. If it takes me a year to test it out, perhaps I am not that patient. 😀

@4cryingoutloud Yes, I agree with you. I have read from some forums, a few cents is not considered as money. I understand that if we are earning for living, these sites might not be able to satisfy us. Even Bubblews mentioned, there’s not a site for full-time job when we were earning big from that site.

@bestwriter Yes, I agree with you. It’s just that not everyone likes to take risk or be the one who helps setting up a new business.

Let us support the site and spread the good news to others too! I guess when we are able to show the payment proof, then some people might re-consider joining or coming back to the site. 🙂

I also submitted a few posts lately and not approved or published yet. I am just guessing the team is taking a break over the weekend, though it’s already Tuesday here.

Let’s just wait patiently, perhaps the team is working on many posts over the weekend, or they have a new plan as Kyla mentioned. 🙂

@swalia That’s good. I think it’s good for us not to be addicted or attached to anything. I think you really have practiced well to reach that.

I don’t think I am addicted to any food or drinks, except that I would like to drink plain water and eat vegetables every day, though I am not a vegetarian. Some thought I was addicted to coffee, as I enjoyed drinking coffee. But, I didn’t really drink coffee every day and I could stop drinking coffee for days. I just didn’t expect myself to stop drinking coffee for more than 8 years, and never even try a sip after that. Well, that’s because of my children. I just think if we are willing to do something, we can really do it!

@sunil So, should I say you are a very lucky or unlucky man? 😀
Of course you are very lucky to have such a perfect wife, but then it seems like you have been spoiled by her. 🙂

Congratulations! That sounds good! Hope you will get more clients, friendly and nice clients, and enjoy cleaning houses for them. If you are working through the State agency, you should be able to get lots of job to work on, am I right?

It’s so nice that you and @grecy095 both got a new job. Hope two of you still have some time to drop by and visit us, and share your work experience with us too. 🙂

Yes, we do have some “store” cards. One belongs to the shopping mall nearby where we always go there for grocery shopping, that requires yearly membership fee, but it’s about $3 USD per year, so I think it’s fine, as we enjoy more benefits. Besides this, we also have one membership card for the book store we always visit, I think the annual membership fee is also $3 USD per year. Since we can get discount for buying books or stationery there, I also think it’s fine.

I also have one privilege card where we can earn points from the participating shops and even petrol stations, then we can use the points to redeem some gifts.

@dawnwriter Yes, I agree with you. I am actually fine with it, and I feel contented with it too. It’s just that I need to learn how to juggle everything better. I think it’s good for me to learn too. Did I tell you I am also homeschooling my children?

Sometimes my friends asked me how I can do so much, as they do not need to work at home or homeschool the children, but they already found themselves very busy. I always told them, if you put a lot of things on the plate, then when you take out one piece, you’ll find your plate is so empty. 😀

Actually I just wanted to say, there’s a will, there’s a way. I know many homeschooling mothers who are also business owners, and they are doing great as well! Of course, there are times when they are overwhelmed as well, they are learning and improving, and that’s the beauty of life too. But, I really need to thank my husband for helping me a lot, otherwise I might not be able to do so much. But, that’s family, isn’t it? 🙂

Perhaps it’s good for @support to confirm this with us. I understand we cannot share referral or affiliate links, how about the links to our personal websites or blogs, like @swalia‘s?

@bestwriter Perhaps I am also a developer/programmer, we always create test user to test the system before it’s launched, but we usually deleted those test accounts before launching it. 😛

Yes, I agree with you. But I guess not everyone like to be the guinea pig to try out something new. I am fine with it, as I think it’s good to help and grow together with the company or site. I was working in a small company, and I think it’s a really good experience as I actually got to learn more, though the pay is lesser too. I think it’s always good to contribute, rather than just receive all the time. Moreover, if the company goes well, these are the people that the company/site treasure the most. There are just some people like to work in well established big company, but some would prefer to try out in small and new company. 🙂

I like what you said about “drops make an ocean”, and also the quote by Kennedy. I read this from Questions Behind The Questions book years ago, it’s about personal accountability. Do not keep blaming or asking “why me?”, but instead asking “why not me?” I can be the one who is going to work and solve the problem, not wait until others to solve it. 🙂

@slayer08 I think it’s really good that you didn’t have TV when you were young. Though we had TV at home, my parents limited us to watch the TV daily too. But now, as I do not allow my young children to watch TV, so we have removed the TV from our home. I think kids have much more things to do than to watch TV programs.

It’s also my dad who influenced me into reading too. My dad likes reading, and he always reads at home. He also always brought us to book stores or book fairs, and bought us books too. We have a big bookshelf and a few smaller bookshelves at home with lots of books. I used to think it’s very common in every home, until many friends who visited my house told me they didn’t have even a bookshelf at their home.

My children also love to read, though they can’t really read yet, I suppose it’s because my husband and I always read them picture books or story books and also sit down together with read with them. Sometimes, my elder son will read a book to the little sister as well. I still think reading is a good habit. 🙂

@ruby3881 I like the idea of discouraging to give gifts to teachers. Here, I have read that even in kindergartens, the young children keep comparing what gifts they are giving to the teachers, how expensive or valuable the gifts are, etc. Of course, the parents compare too. I think this has already defeat the purpose of showing appreciation to the teachers.

I like the idea of giving some hand-made gifts to teachers, or offer some services like what @nakitakona13 mentioned. Perhaps cooking a good dish or baking a cake to teachers would be a good idea too.

I haven’t check out the members’ list until I read your topic here. It’s interesting to know more about our members. It seems like there are 390 members in the system.

It seems like those members who were active over one year ago are the test users. The site seems to be alive after 26 April 2016, as the earliest post I could find in 2016 is on that date, though there were a few more in 2015. Support has mentioned the site didn’t go well at the beginning, perhaps it stopped for quite some time, until 2015 they had investor, then this site started again lately.

I am sure some members think the pay rate is too low, so they do not want to return to the site. I have read many people are discouraged by the low earnings, especially the pay rate per post.

I agree with you, at the initial stage, we just have to be patient. Moreover, I think we can always find ways to help us earn better here. Perhaps different people just have different interests, some might not want to wait and write more. 🙂

@peachpurple My mom and mom in law have no choice, but to accept who I am. I am glad that they actually understand me, and respect me, they know I am doing all these good for my children. They know I really love my children.

Yes, I did take shower and wash my hair everyday. My mom in law was worried, but my mom was fine with it, as she did that during her confinement period too. She just wanted me to dry my hair always. I have heard that we can’t even drink those plain water, must boil with some herbs, but I still drink the normal boiled water I used to drink. I am glad I do not need to go through the “suffering” confinement period that I have heard from other moms.

If the first child was born through cesarean, the second child can still try with natural birth, but can’t go through induce labor. But if the first two were cesarean , then the third one has to be cesarean as well, as the percentage of the wound to be broken might be higher. I have consulted more than two doctors on this, so I have no choice but to go through cesarean again this time. 🙂

It took me longer to recover for my first child, perhaps it was an emergency cesarean, I went through the natural birth process first. It took me more than 6 weeks to be able to walk well without pain. For my second child, it was quick, that’s why I could bathe and take care of my baby in less than a week.

Do you use gmail? I think gmail is quite good at filtering spam emails.

@peachpurple I usually write blog posts that are above 500 words, as it helps me to earn 10 cents per post. I don’t think I can write 800 words, unless I really have a lot to write in that post. I usually write between 500 to 600 words, and that’s good enough for me.

Yes, I agree that commenting in forums is easier for me too. I can easily write more than 300 words in my reply, perhaps it’s because I do not need to think of the topic, but just keep replying. 😛

We will wait for you to update us about the referral earnings, or support will let us know soon. 🙂
