That sounds good! Making the pallets into fences sound like a very good idea. I have always been wanting to learn woodworking, but I am not there yet. I just learned how to cut wood with hand saw, and let my children play with the smaller wooden pieces. I wanted to learn how wood carving too, but so far I have only carved a small unfinished wooden doll. I wanted to continue, but my little girl already took it and play with it. It’s just a very small wooden doll, with the shape of head and body. I have seen one of my neighbors used the pallets to make a sandbox for the children to play inside. I think that’s a good idea, but I do not have much space in my yard, so I gave up trying it out. Lately, another friend of mine who just learned how to do woodworking, built a small table with pallets. I think it might be a good project to start with too. I hope I can really build something, but I will need to wait until my baby is a little older, then I can start building with my another two children. 🙂

I am not a religious person, I was not brought up in a religious family, and I seldom prayed. I started to learn how to pray when I learned about Waldorf Education, I think two years ago. My mentor advised us to pray. She mentioned it doesn’t matter whether we have any religious beliefs, it’s still good to pray. I haven’t build up the habit of praying every day, but only occasionally, especially when I need to seek for advice or peace in my mind. |

Dear @support, Thanks a lot for the revised points awarded for blog posts. That’s really encouraging. It’s certainly a good news. I am going to announce this to others, so hopefully this will boost up their confidence and join the site! Glad to hear that the maintenance activity is over. Thanks for all the hard work! I will keep posting. 🙂 Note: I just checked out the earning I got for my latest published post. Word count is not there anymore, but replaced with “Coins for new Post Link”. Hope others will find this out and be happy with the revised rate too!

@dawnwriter It sounds like an interesting. I wish I can help, but I am really not good at this. Have you checked out pinterest? I saw there are many similar charts or rules in pinterest. Perhaps you can take a look, and there are pictures for you to refer too. Hope you will get this done soon, and share with us too! 🙂 When do you need to get this done? I will try to look for you if I am not so tired tomorrow. I am tired after decluttering my store room today. I can’t work anymore now. 😛 |

My husband always said I was too naive and I seemed to live in a separate world from others, I did not know school bullies existed in our days and even in my school. I stayed in the hostel when I was in high school, so I got to know friends from different grades and classes as well. But, I have not met any bullies before. I am really sorry to hear so many children have been bullied. I think parents should always pay attention to the children, so if anything goes wrong, they can find out earlier. If the victim does not speak out, nobody else will know about it and can’t help either. @lolaze I am sorry to hear you have gone through those. Yes, I agree with you, we should teach our children to stand up, defend and protect themselves. @nakitakona13 I agree with you. I don’t think bullies actually wanted to be bullies at the first place, they did not just wake up and plan to make others’ life miserable. I guess they are lacking of love and security from their family. Hopefully the teachers or counsellers can take some actions and help them too. |

I have no idea about this, as I always thought those classroom supplies are considered as budget from the school, so the teachers should not need to take out their own money to buy them. Spending $500 – $1000 a year for the classroom supplies can be a burden to a teacher, though I do not know how much a teacher earns. I really do not know about this, as I have never thought this can be expenses from the teacher. I would like to ask my friends who are teachers about this. |

@peachpurple You are writing your posts in Evernote? That’s a good idea. I used to write mine there when I was writing in Bubblews, then I forgot about it until you mentioned it. :p The support has encouraged us to keep writing, so I think you can also submit the posts. 🙂 Good that you have achieved all your goals yesterday. @rapidblue Hope your friend will be able to sign in to the site and join us soon. @sunil Yes, I am waiting for the good news too! 😀

@ruby3881 I am glad I have learned another new thing from you – call to action. I think I have read this from you in BlogJob, but I was not clear what it is about. That’s why it’s so nice to be here, to keep learning from everyone here. 🙂 I also like how @peachpurple wrote her recipe posts, especially with some tips to prepare the food. It’s helpful especially for the beginners. I have also read about controversy, but that’s really not something I can handle. I think I will just stick to what @swalia mentioned, write what I am passionate about and what I feel like. I guess this is why I like to write about parenting or children, as it’s my life and what I love now. 🙂 |

@dawnwriter Yes, I am excited to see the word “good news” too. I like how support keeps us updated and also encourages us to write more. I was not sure if I should continue to post but add on their burden, or if I should just stop writing first. Glad to hear the clear direction from the support. 🙂 Yes, I do hope the good news won’t take too long to announce, I hope I can still read the news before my baby is born. 😀 So, let us just continue to submit our blog posts, and the team continue to work on the maintenance activity. 🙂 |

I get along quite well with my parents in laws, especially my mom in law. We do not stay together, and we usually go back to our home town and visit them every two months. I guess it’s because we respect each other, and she knows me quite well. She knows I am a stubborn person, especially when it comes to parenting or about my children, I will insist on my way. So, even she doesn’t really agree with me, she respects my decision. Of course, I always talk to her nicely. Well, my husband is stubborn as well, and we are on the same page. So my mom in law understands it’s our way to parent the children, and she slowly accepts it too. Besides some differences about parenting, our mindsets are actually quite different too, but it doesn’t harm our relationship. We just always share what we think and what we have experienced. My mom in law is a nice lady to chat with, and she doesn’t demand too much from me too! Some mothers in law might require the daughter in law to do a lot of house work, I am glad she doesn’t. So, I feel quite comfortable to be with her, and I can just be myself. 😀 |

@morgoodie Glad that peach answered your question about confinement period, I wouldn’t be able to explain so well, as I didn’t really follow all the rules. I thought of going to research more about it before I can reply, glad to see peach has given you so many examples of the rules. 😀 I heard it’s not easy to go through natural birth when you have high blood pressure, it’d be safer to go for c-section, am I right? So, the second one went straight for c-section? @icybc Sorry to hear you have tendonitis, that sounds painful to me, though I am not familiar with it. Is typing too much hurt as well? |

@peachpurple It seems like our older generations like to read newspapers every day, even though they do not read books. My mom does not read books too, but she must read newspapers every day. Then my parents always talk about the news in the papers, but I don’t know why, I have no interest in reading newspapers since I was young, though my mom always encouraged me to read. It’s good that your mom brought you to the bookshop to rent books, and that inspired you to read more. I am Chinese educated, and my parents can’t really read and speak English, they understood the importance of English and also encouraged us to read more and bought us many English books as well. But, I still preferred to read Chinese books when I was young. I guess it’s because of the Internet, I started to read more English articles and improved my writing while chatting with others. 😀 @morgoodie It’s so nice to still keep some old books from your grandmother. Those are really memorable items for you. 🙂 |

Thank you so much for informing us and keeping us update. I really appreciate this. It’s good that we get the announcement from the team rather than we are guessing or suspecting there might be something wrong. You give us more and more confidence with the site now! 🙂 |
