@scheng1 Welcome to the site! Glad to see you are here too.

I agree with peachpurple, the more words you write in a comment, the more you will earn. Same goes to blog posts too. You will notice the difference by checking the individual earnings in My History section.

Please feel free to ask any questions, the support is quite responsive and helpful. Moreover, you will find many useful information in this About LiteracyBase group as well. Hope you will enjoy spending time and earning here too! 🙂

@peachpurple Thanks for mentioning me and I think almost every member here is helpful. I feel like I am just very busybody here and there. 😀

@swalia Thanks. Yes, I agree with the revised rate of blog posts, we can actually earn $1 dollar a day. The advantage of the site is, there is no daily limit. So, if we have some spare time, we can make more money from this site.

Hope you’ll be able to reach the first redemption very soon. I believe with your writing, you will be able to make it! 🙂

@peachpurple I am also trying to write two blog posts every day. I think it’s a good practice for me as well – to ponder, to read, to write. 😀

Yes, I think the payment process is similar to mylot, we will get paid on 10th of next month, except that here we need to request for payment, but not automated. So, if you cash out on 8 June, you will receive the payment on 10 July.

I am also wondering if we can cash out two times in the month, and get the two payments together on 10th of next month. Say if we request our first payment on 8 June, then make another request on 29 June, will we get two payments together on 10 July?

Perhaps @support will be better to clarify these for us. Thanks! 🙂

@morgoodie @peachpurple That’s the reason I stopped using Microsoft Word. I used to use the word count website, then I changed to Word document, and my formatting is gone in the blog post, as we can’t preview it too. So, now I just use the note pad (without formatting), and also the word count website to check the number of words.

I hope we can preview our blog post too, so we can edit it accordingly before we submit it, it’s good to make our posts presentable. 🙂

@bestwriter I can imagine how upset you were. I am sorry that happened to you. But, I just can’t imagine with so many articles you have posted, but your account was deleted just because one of the articles was less than 400 characters. I do not remember how I counted my words when I was working with Bubblews.

@icybc Yes, I agree with you. With all the previous experience in writing sites, I think it’d be good for us to save a copy of our own writing work, though it might mean a little bit more work for us.

Anyway, it’s a good news that support is considering our feedback, and hopefully we will get the word count functionality very soon. 🙂

@haraka It seems like it’s really a big project to do the coloring. You need to try out the color mixture, different techniques such as gradients, and even create the effect! But I think it’s really enjoyable and fun to do so.

I think if I am going to try it, I would still prefer to color it on the coloring book. I guess it’s very much different from just tapping the area and applying the color.

To me, your coloring skill is already perfect! But, I remember when I attended a clay making class, the teacher said, the beauty of handmade work is because it’s never perfect, but it’s always unique. 🙂

I like this coloring book as well. I guess it’s nice when it’s related to a fairy tale. I would like to guess, but I really can’t tell which story this is. I hope someone will guess it correctly soon.

@4cryingoutloud That’s a good plan! So you have the motivation to work harder now! 😀
Hope you will be able to cash out soon and buy the coloring book!

@peachpurple The pink lily is very beautiful. I wish I can plant them in my garden.

I used to plant a pot of purple flowers (I do not know the name, but I will try to take a photo of it later), sunflowers and a few wild flowers (I do not know the names either). But since I am pregnant and was feeling really sick during my first trimester, I didn’t take care of them, and now they are gone.

I like to grow vegetables too. It’s nice to eat the food we grow, it’s much healthier and more convenient too. We just go to our garden, pick the vegetables and cook them. I used to plant lady fingers, cherry tomatoes, spring onions, sweet potato leaves, aloe vera. I also have a small mulberry tree. It’s easier to grow than I expected.

I do not have green thumb, but I would always like to learn gardening, especially doing it together with my children. It’s something fun to do, and it’s a good lesson for my children and myself too.

I would like to grow my garden again, perhaps a few months later when I am not so busy with my baby. 🙂

May 20, 2016 at 4:04 pm

@morgoodie Thanks! Perhaps I have a big motivation to push me forward – get it done before my baby comes! He will not be waiting, so I have to be fast! 😀

Yes, I understand others’ concern as well. Frankly speaking, when I first joined, I didn’t feel like participating much as well, as there were not many members yet. It’s kinda of boring in the forums. When more and more people joined the site, and we started to create a friendly and helpful community here, and this is the reason I stay. If not because of you all, I don’t think I have the motivation to keep writing here! Thanks for chatting with me. It’s like my home here. 😀

@icybc Hope your tendonitis will get better soon. Yes, I agree that sometimes the site loads quite slow, so I usually also work on something else, especially my software project. If the site loads faster, I think we can participate more. 🙂

@peachpurple Yes, I think writing blog posts really helps us to earn faster, and I think it helps the site to gain more ad revenue too. So, we should all keep blogging! Hope I will still be able to write one or two blog posts later. 🙂

Thanks for the compliment. I am thinking I will surely get paid, as everyone is hoping high for my first payment from LiteracyBase now. 😀

For your information, I haven’t redeem yet. I am planning to wait for a few more days, perhaps one or two days before I deliver my baby, then only I make the redemption, since I am going to receive my payment next month anymore. I can’t wait until end of the month, as I might still be in the hospital at that time. :p

@peachpurple Thanks for giving me the idea of my next blog post. 🙂

@swalia That’s really a good reason! I like this kind of passive income. 10% of the referrals’ earning is very good one, especially if they published blog posts, we might even get to earn more. Though I am not good at getting referrals, I am still happy for everyone who has got referrals.

I think I will need to figure out how I can get referrals, so it might help me to make some extra money when I am away. 🙂

May 20, 2016 at 3:14 pm

@peachpurple I think it’s good that you can still earn 15-20 cents every day. That’s passive income. Hubpages seem to be quite popular, and I have not thought of joining it as I think it’s for professional writer.
So the site actually still accepts new registration and pays the members, but just the earning is not as good as before?

Is that your own writing in the picture? The cursive handwriting is really beautiful!

I would recommend LiteracyBase, as we can earn USD$10 per month here. 🙂

@morgoodie Yes, I also think neobux is good PTC site, since it has been paying for so many years. Though I have heard some negative comments about the rented referrals, now I do not rent any referrals anymore, so it’s fine for me now. I try to click all the ads, though the rate is very low, they are all $0.001 for me, at least I can earn a little bit of money from there easily.

I also click on AdPrize sometimes when I am working on something else, and have no other PTC sites to work on. Sometimes I might earn 25 cents or some points, though rarely.

I have another goal, which is to earn 30K points, so I will be able to use the points to upgrade my membership, then I should be able to earn faster, though this might take me years to reach. 😀

@datepuhe Hi there, welcome to LiteracyBase.
More than 50 sites is really a lot, I do not think I can manage that, though there was a period I worked on many PTC sites and was also trying out new sites, after some time, I was bored about clicking and scammed too, so I just stopped working on PTC sites. I started to click on those legit sites again, especially clixsense and neobux. Hope you’ll get to enjoy ad clicking as you used to be. 🙂

Just to update, I have just reached $10 this morning, with the help of two published blog posts. Now, I guess writing blog posts will really help us to earn much faster.

I have also found out how we can redeem from LiteracyBase, you can check it out in another thread – How do I redeem?

Since we are getting our payment on 10th the next month, so I guess I will just wait for a few more days to make my first redemption.

I just want to update here, and encourage everyone! Just keep participating and blogging! 🙂

May 20, 2016 at 9:33 am

@support Thanks for the clarification. I guess I am clear with how I can redeem now.

@bestwriter Perhaps I am a programmer and always write user guide, hence I just like to write out step by step, so it’s easier for myself and others to understand. 😛

Though it might take us some time to receive our payment, I think processing the payment monthly seems to be the better and easier way for the team, and thus we might not experience missing payments too.

May 20, 2016 at 9:21 am

I have no idea about this too. I would like to know about this, but I think it is not stated anywhere on the site, I haven’t get to find this out yet.

I like the ranking system as it’s like playing game, encouraging us to move to the next level and unlock some capabilities we can have on the forums or site. I just think it’s more fun and motivating as well, perhaps I like playing games. 😀

I guess we will need to get the information from @support. Thanks in advanced! 🙂

I almost forgot about this thread, though I wanted to write about my gratitude every day.

@4cryingoutloud Thank you for reminding me about this.

Yes, it’s so nice to see you are such a grateful person, and hope you will have less aches and pains soon, and get more jobs too!

This morning, I am grateful for…

1. Having a good morning nap just now (for more than 4 hours!)

2. My kids being able to take care of themselves while I was sleeping. They just went downstairs and did their own work without disturbing me at all.

3. My husband being very supportive and helpful. He has almost done everything and allowing me to just do my work, declutter and organize my home and SLEEP! I like to organize, so I am usually doing this, while he can clean other stuffs.

4. Reaching $10 in LiteracyBase, with the help of two published posts.

5. Support being very supportive, hence I know how to make my first redemption here.

May 20, 2016 at 3:29 am

Thanks @support for your guidance.

I have finally figured out where to set the payment option.

Here is where we can set our payment information:

1. Go to Profile

2. Click on Edit

3. Click on Payment Information

4. Select your Payment Option from the dropdownlist, and enter your Payment Address in the text box.

5. Click on Save Changes button.

I think this is how we set our payment information.

To redeem:

1. Go to Redeem page

2. I am assuming to enter my username in To text box (Can you please confirm this, @support? Thanks)

3. Enter the amount to redeem.

4. Click on Transfer button.
