Good question about the credits for videos, @kaka135! I think generally you would not need to give credit because you are embedding the content into your work. It remains intact and linked to the original source, and with a single click the reader is able to go to the page where it’s hosted in order to learn more.
This contrasts with the use of…[Read more]
Haraka replied to the topic What social media sites are you using to share your posts? in the forum Writing for the Web 8 years, 6 months ago
@kaka135
I think you gonna love Tumblr.
It has micro-blogging and blog so you can combine both to interact with others.
I’m not really remember about the search system. If i’m not mistaken we can use their search system to gain some exposure of our post by adding the key words. But it’s been so long since i use tumblr 😀

@kaka135 I don’t think I knew you were a homeschooler. We homeschooled for six years before we moved, and this year we’ve done distance education with our two older girls. I never really used Facebook for homeschooling things. We had web sites and email groups, back when we were homeschooling. The FB things were just beginning to get going when…[Read more]
Haraka replied to the topic Get Paid to Write Sites in the forum Making Money Online 8 years, 6 months ago
Yeah, it’s really not bad to get $10/ week. If you are on the top 5 you able to get $10 on 2-3 days 😛
So far the hardest qualification for writing is Bitlanders for me (i never try in here, so i can give any comparison). Because it’s required 1000 words, images, video, and formatting, and tag to be able to get good review. And only the…[Read more]
Kyla Matton Osborne (Ruby3881) replied to the topic Image Sizing Criteria in the forum NewBies 8 years, 6 months ago
@kaka135 Ouch! That’s a huge size in both size and aspect ratio! I’ve had a similar issue where an image I added to a post was enlarged and the aspect ratio was changed – even though I had submitted an image that was sized to match the size restrictions that were displaying in the dialog box when I uploaded it to the site. It’s very frustrating to…[Read more]
@kaka135 Thanks for the heads up about StumbleUpon not accepting the short links! I usually just hit the “Stumble” button without trying to share a shortened link or one that includes my referral code. Because once a page is indexed on StumbleUpon it’s a simple “thumbs up” for each subsequent person who wants to Stumble the page, I tend to leave…[Read more]

@kaka135, sorry I didn’t respond sooner, didn’t notice I had a second page of comments!! lol The site was INTERWRK, you have to use Firefox though. It paid a few cents every day directly to PayPal. It use to anyway!!
@kaka135 Yes, it’s true that Pinterest doesn’t like the short links. They do generally work on both Twitter and Google+, however. And on Facebook they seem pretty reliable – although sometimes the image that gets shared won’t be the one you expected to see!
For Pinterest, if you click the “See it now” button when the pin is first created, you can…[Read more]

@kaka135 I haven’t heard about Pablo until now. I’ll have to add it to my list of graphics editors to try!
@morgoodie Just a heads up: GIMP can be a little intimidating at first! I knew how to use PSP quite well, but was really lost with GIMP at first. If you’re stuck on anything, there are some great YouTube tutorials and all the user’s manual…[Read more]

@kaka135 Yes, I remember that mention of unlocking more functions. It would be great to be able to edit posts, as well as to submit posts and save/edit drafts through the WordPress dashboard 🙂
@kaka135 I agree with you: the forum score feels more like a reputation thing than a matters of earnings. I believe the goal is to establish some people as regular contributors, mentors, or even experts in a given area. Obviously, once somebody achieves such a rank other readers will give more weight to their forum posts and replies.
This tends…[Read more]
@grecy095 and @kaka135 Thank you both for your generous compliments! As I often say, I’m only just learning all of this too! I love to share with you because it helps me to learn better when I explain something to others. It’s very rewarding to hear that others find it helpful too 🙂

@kaka135 Oh you are about to have a baby. Best of luck and may you have a healthy baby.
Don’t stress yourself too much and take frequent breaks. It is not good to be online for long periods in this condition.
All my best wishes.

@morgoodie I was working with Expresswage and Innocurent as well. I am clicking the ads because the ads are the same as Ayuwage. I do it after working on Ayuwage, but recently I am not visiting the site because both are too slow to earn. If Ayuwage is slow on me, these two is slower by time three.

@kaka135 I tried it and the link will not work. The person will able to copy and paste the link and post it on their server.
