Ganesha is the elephant-headed God that is beloved by nearly all Hindus. Regardless of sect, branch, region, or family, it would be rare to find a Hindu who doesn’t have a Ganesh murti or some type of Ganesh symbol. Ganesha is known as the remover of obstacles (Vighneshwara). He is the one to pray to before starting any new endeavor.
Often he is…[Read more]

Happy to hear your point of view as it matters and each individual is unique. As told by you our parents and elders play a very important role in inculcating this during our early years of life. Ever since I joined here I haven’t written a single blog, I guess my heart is still not into writing again ever since B has gone. I want to write again but I’m focusing more on interacting with fellow members of literacybase even though only a few respond to comments on blogs post and more on the group forums. Hopefully soon I can begin to blog again. 🙂

You have enumerated it well. Those are all ideal behaviors which I think is unavoidable sometimes. But I think it depends on how the person were brought up by his parents or on what kind of environment he has. If only we can do all of those that you have mentioned, I am sure that we will all have a very fulfilling and happy life.
