My adsense is still active on Hubpages. And squidoo is now owned by hubpages. And now that new sites of hubpages are doing good. I am sure many authors are making good money. For example, As for Wikinut, yes got the idea of they not much into earning these days.

I have never heard of it, maybe I should give it a try. I have tried similar sites online, but haven’t had much luck it’s normally very difficult to find a buyer.

I am on Swagbucks for last three years and getting paid regularly. In fact I have received a Gift voucher only yesterday. I did not want to redeem yet but I was offered extra SB on redemption as it was my birthday present from SB if I redeemed my points within 30 days.

@Mahesh Wikinut is still there but it does not pay. They accepted anything republished and earning pennies was almost impossible even when they had reduced their payout to British Pound 2.5 from 5. I was paid 4 times total BP 10 within a span of 6 years. The site has stopped paying since 2016 with proper notification to all its members!

I have not made more than 10$ from Mturk. But I can see for some users it’s possible than that. Also there are alternatives to use like MicroWorkers. So there are options to look forward to. I’d definitely check some of those options.
Wikinut is still there. I am not sure how much they are making. But considering there are some people who do write, I am guessing it is going to be moving. Only issue is that it’s hard to reach payout there. Also even harder to make money just by views or social media sharing.

I have it installed on my Android. The app works very fine. But the issue is I have around 100 or more Nature shots taken. And despite being quality images, I failed to find a buyer. It’s hard to make money on foap. Some people have some level of success there. But for me it is not much earning so letting it go.

First of all, for those that don’t know foap is a smartphone app where you can upload you pictures you have taken to try and sell them.
It isn’t easy to sell photos there but it is worth a try. I have the app and when i think i have a good photo i put it up. Never know if it is good enough to sell. I mean the photos are there, if they can get you…[Read more]

There was a site called Wikinut. It was a pleasant site and it paid. Every item was moderated but not severely. The site demanded long items… over 1k with 5 images, 5 bold words and 5 links. Then one could get a Star.
One would be on the Star Page and likely to be read.
It was a solid site.
A lot of articles, comments, interactions, and…[Read more]
with the Bub I was paid $25 then $50 then stopped. They didn’t pay people from the Caribbean or Africa. As Dixit is Indian he paid a segement of Indian members, and American and British members. He slipped up with an America who flagged him.
I earned on the other sites when they were alive. Now it is only this one, Niume and Mylot.
@Mahesh I agree with you all but luckily I got paid from all the sites mentioned in this post. I earned almost $4500 from Bubblews, $200 or more from Tinycent, $286 so far from Niume, $70+ from Literacybase, Factoidz, Triond, Wikinut, Yahoo etc. The only site I did not earn anything is Hubpages and Squidoo but I enjoy interaction on these sites…[Read more]
Now I’m going to Talk about Triond.
This was the Best Site. Why?
Firstly they paid you, and you would also be paid via Adsense.
Secondly, they had a number of subsites; Webmd, if you were discussing medical/heath, Notecook, if you were doing recipes, Socyberty if you were dealing with cultural/social situations, on and on, so that each sub…[Read more]
Thank You, I will… moving on to Triond

You have a point there, Mahesh but here is the secret behind Mturk, you need to have strategy in order to make some money. Like I said, once you get accepted in Mturk, go to you tube to learn how to make the most of your money in Mturk. The good thing about Mturk is that there are surveys that are quick and some pay good money. When you think of…[Read more]

I joined Hubpages about the same time as you did. The earnings weren’t bad. They collapsed in 2010. After that 5c a month was pretty standard.
Why write so many words, so many images, and get so little?
And when you look at their ‘top’ stories, they are nothing I much care to read.
