Growing up, my father took care of that task in my life of bring me into reading books. He would buy me comic books, poems, and short stories to read. After that in Elementary school we would get rewarded when we completed a summary of each book we read. Its a wonderful experience growing up reading books because you get so into it. Its amazing the power of your ming using imagination to create a scene of your own as you are read each word in the book.
