The presumption of your story was that it was your personal experience for you started it with “I”. And at the end of the story, not having acknowledged from where you got it from, no matter the circumstances, it again was presumed that, that experience was truly your own. I enjoyed your first submissions knowing it was your own. When this article came about, I applauded you, for it was really so good. But then, I had some misgivings. So, I tried to copy the first stanza and tried to searched the internet about any similarities and lo and behold, it was someone else’s work, unknown it may be, but still not your own. I believe in your ability and your potential as a writer. I hope that you will be professional about it. I think there is nothing wrong if you want to share someone else’s work, just as long as you should be HONEST about where you got it from. I always believed that one is a better storyteller through writing and I think you are one of that.

Sir Edwin, please indicate if the article you are posting here is lifted from someone else, whether known or unknown. This anecdote is really inspiring and it has been circulating the internet since around October 2016. Those who use this as an inspirational story, quoted that the author was unknown, but here, you did not indicate where you copied it from. It is so unfair for us you compose our own articles and we follow the rules of the site. You just ‘copy paste’ it. It will only take you seconds to do it and you already earn your rewards; whereas if I compose my own, it took me half day before I can finished just a 300-word article. Please, next time be honest about what you post on this site. If it is lifted from someone else, please say so. |

I have accepted her friend request because I always go for equality. I told her I have accepted her friend request, but apologized to her that I cannot interact with her, cause I do not know her language. I always give everybody the benefit of the doubt. Maybe she forgot that all submission should be in the English language. I hope she will respond to this post to hear her side of the story. Thanks Cely! |

You are a very good artist! Being able to paint is one of my lifelong dreams. I was able to do some free hand drawing when did a short course in Interior Design. But I don’t know if I can do an oil painting. Keep on painting and wishing you the best in your works! |

Oh, my bad! I thought yours was the start, so I followed it with the B word then when I went back to your post, there was no takers. So I submitted the next letter, C. Maybe, we could continue on this. So next should start with D. Thanks! |

@ Diana Yes, friends are definitely a treasure! When my high school classmates had our first reunion, after 40 years, its as if it was just yesterday that we met. There seems to be no lost years. All the happenings of your high school days were reminisce. It was such a joyful feeling of meeting them after 40 years. |

Thanks for the info. I hope someone out there will benefit from this. Goodluck! |

I recently discovered that all my notices here were sent to my email ad. I did not know it, so the next time I log in to this site, I also log in to my email, that way I know who I haven’t answered yet. But sometimes, due to human factor, I still miss some. Nice suggestion. |

@ Michelle I agree with you regarding running out of ideas. If just sitting down and just encoding, maybe we can earn big bucks here. The problem is what topic to write. To me just making 3 300-word articles would take me a lifetime to write. |

@ cely thanks for the info, I learned so much from your comment. I might resort to browsing Pixabay, if I ran out of images to upload, i the near future. |

@ makesh I hope this is not too daunting for you. I am sorry if you feel that this memory does not heal. Some of my childhood friends too have more financial freedom than me. But the life I have now is God given, and I enjoy every moment that I can with it. I am happy for my childhood friends that have been successful. Hoping for more financial freedom for us! |

@cely So happy for you! Keep being inspired. I hope that someday, I too will be able to redeem. Congratulations! |

Thanks for the info! I love asparagus! In our country, the Philippines, asparagus is a bit pricey, so you have to think many times if you are buying or not. But with this info, why would I scrimp on myself and my family if it would mean a healthier me and my family. |
