WOW! Learned some New York trivia. I didn’t Kingston was once the capital. When I was much younger my favorite thing used to be to go downtown, Miami, Florida. When they built the malls, I started going there. But I kind of miss the nostalgia vibe a good downtown gives off. It sort of expresses the “flavor” of the city. Or maybe it’s just a nice childhood memory that I have.

Hi thanks , Kingston New York was the capital of New York state for like one week then the british burn the town down . Plus kingsston Ny is all so on the hudson river

This concept of barter used to be there in ancient times and the surprising thing is that we have it in our country in many villages and even in the cities too. This concept is a good one as there is no money exchanging hands and you do not end up transacting. This is services for services or goods for services or services for goods or goods for goods it can be a combination of any of the four options.
In the villages many farmers take the services of labour and pay them in the form of rice or food grains grown from the field. So both the parties are happy with the concept. They also exchange services like getting something for someone staying in the village from the cities and they being given some goods which the person has grown in the village. On the whole this is a successful concept. Only thing is we need two people who have the same mentality.

Word games have always been my favorite. I love word search, scrabble, any game that has to do with words, cross words, games with other players etc Word games help improve your vocabulary a lot faster, because you are in constant search for words to use. I have imbibed these in my kids, they love word search , it keeps them preoccupied. Nothing beats word games.
