@ruby3881 Yes, I totally agree with you. That’s why I am voting up for most comments in the forums. Hope this is fine. š
I like what @icybc said, it doesn’t hurt to be nice! š

@IcyBC Ā Unless we get into the habit of voting points will not increase. I too am guilty of it.

@peachpurple Yes, it’s always nice to see some extra income in our earnings from referring visitors. I think it would be better if we can expose our blog posts to more people and gain more comments too. Perhaps it will take some time to establish that. I am thinking if we keep on sharing the posts here, they will get ranked higher in search…[Read more]

@JoDee Ā Congratulations on the bonus that you received from admin. It pays off to be active in here.
@IcyBC Ā I completely understand. I have read some things that make me curious to see if we will be paid or not. It can be a little discouraging to work hard to reach the cash out threshold and then receive nothing at all. I hope it is not like t…[Read more]

@kaka135 No it is not the sister that sells her crocheted items. It is my sister that was living with me. But I agree, I like having a sister who is also my best friend. I know I can always count on her.
@Grecy Ā My sister is back with me for a week because she moved to the new city that we will be moving to after my kids are out of school. She…[Read more]

@morgoodie that is a good news. You have your sister back and why for a week? Is she living very far from you? She has her own family too? I think you should find creative things to do and please enjoy every minute that you are together.
@icybc that is a good news already. You are healthy and it is worth a million already. Imagine other people…[Read more]

@icybc It’s okay, I think we are here to support each other as well. Hope you will have more sunshine there! I wish I can send you some sunlights from here as well, as I am staying in a tropical country, there’s always bright sun every day. š
morgoodie replied to the topic Do you use coupons or grocery apps to save money in the forum Saving Money… 8 years, 6 months ago
@IcyBC Ā I do not get my coupons from the newspaper. I just print them from coupon sites, but not all the time unless they have something that I am going to need right then. I also download my coupons to the Kroger app and this is so helpful. Buying store brand is a good way to save money on items and they are usually no different from name…[Read more]

@kaka135 I haven’t heard about Pablo until now. I’ll have to add it to my list of graphics editors to try!
@morgoodie Just a heads up: GIMP can be a little intimidating at first! I knew how to use PSP quite well, but was really lost with GIMP at first. If you’re stuck on anything, there are some great YouTube tutorials and all the user’s manual…[Read more]

@novelangel I didn’t know adding vinegar to honey lemon juice can help digestion when we have stomach trouble. Thanks for telling me that. I usually just drink some warm water or ginger tea to make myself feel comfortable. I have not try colloidal silver water, but I just gargle with salt water. I just knew vinegar and baking soda are good for…[Read more]

When parents grow older, we tend to be closer to them than in the past, isn’t it?

You are right, @IcyBC sometimes we just need to take our wants a step backward because taking care of the family’s needs should be prioritized.
Lee Ka replied to the topic College Degree vs In Demand Jobs in the forum Inspirational/Motivational 8 years, 6 months ago
@Jentleheart Yes, I always think I am really blessed of that. Besides programming, I thought of becoming a teacher or writer when I was young. Though I am not a professional writer, I am glad I can now write casually in these sites, and also earn a little bit money. I am also homeschooling my children, so I consider myself as a home educator now.…[Read more]

@IcyBC It is so kind of you to give away your books. Sometimes living a simplified and minimalized life, it’d be better to have less stuffs at home, including books. Good that you enjoyed reading the digital copies with your kindle as well. I am also thinking of giving away some books that I no longer read. Though it might be nice to have a small…[Read more]
