I joined this site newly. I would like to know how can I refer my friends? Can I earn if the friend I have referred joins here? Also, is there any relation to the earning of my referred friends?

I saw a strange thing while adding friends. Generally once I add any one it shows friend request sent. But for some cases it shows -1. Did you notice this thing? Can anyone please explain me the cause for this?
