Hello Cely, I’m from the Philippines. I suggest you change your wifi connection to wired connection which is the Globe DSL/LAN if globe is your choice of internet provider. It is faster than you expected just like PLDT. It is what I’m using so the chances of blogging will be doubled when you like to stay online. I hope this help.

Imitating other persons diet is also effective but be sure to do it in a slow manner and make it sure the diet is not too much for your body to handle or simple as one step at a time. One example of good diet is eating foods that are high in fiber, avoid eating fatty foods most specially those that are deep fried like fried chicken, fish and the…[Read more]

In my town, one of the superstitious belief that our ancestors believed in was the black cat wherein when you are going to travel and the black cat passes by you, you must not continue your journey if not something bad will happen to you. They believed in that superstition because as my granddad say it was proven to be true.

I enjoyed writing in sites like Literacybase.com because there is no pressure and you just can write whatever topic you wanted to develop into a post or into a blog.

    But how […]

    • I like to write but with no pressure.

Here at LB, we can choose to have pressure, by writing a long post like 500 words or 1000 word or just simply commenting on blogs.

Though the way I calculate it, if one gets to comment accordingly to at least a 100 blogs or group topics or the comments to your posts, you can already earn $1 . Not much pressure because you enjoy interacting.

The catch is for you to enjoy doing it so you will not feel pressured.

      • That is why I like sites like Literacybase and myLot because there are no pressures. I just wanted to have an outlet for my writing passion. I do it, I usually interact on other people’s blogs here if I could not think of a topic to write.

    • I like writing very much, and I have my own blogs where I put my thoughts time from time and even earn little money. At Literacy base I do not feel any pressure, how long will be my post depends on idea.

      • It is nice to know you have your own blogs. I also created one last year, but it is hanging in the net (air), I did not monetize it and I had been inactive posting in it.

In Literacybase, we have no pressures, it depends on what amount of time we will allot here; the reason why I like this site.

Do you know what is common with the above restaurants?

It’s fried chicken ! Their fried chicken is very delicious . But of course , there will be one who will reign supreme.

But before I reveal what is the b […]

    • sorry but i hate kfc theya re full of oil, sometimes the chicken is notwellcooked and smell like old and the service is horrible, for the price the price is too much to the food hat you eat with that low quality, I will never go kfc again, and when i complain they do not care, omg how bad they are

    • @trees

Oh is that so? Well here, maybe because there are a lot of competition, restaurants would really make their fried chickens delicious.

KFC fried chicken here is delicious. Although, since I have my favorite which is a local one from here, I rated it a little lower.

So what restaurant in your country, offers the most delicious fired chicken?

    • “nakakagutom naman!”

I can’t help but shout this in our language.

When Bon Chon opened, we tried it and I liked it because of its sweetness and I’m a sweettooth. But, if eaten often, its sweetness is a bit overwhelming.

I like KFC, not so much for their fried chicken, but for their mushroom soup hehe.

If I have enough money and I am with my family, we surely will go to Max’s.

But if I have limited money, I’d always take the Crispy Chicken Sandwich of McDo. i also love its apple pie.

Din, what’s DIY? Sorry haven’t been to this place yet.

Jollibee, a ‘playsafe’ kind of place. If you don’t know what to eat, go to this place.

      How about Army Navy?

      • @Ruby ,

Ate Rubs, yes I am sure those that have read this, will surely say that “nakakagutom”, (made me hungry?) I don’t know how to put it right in English though. lol

Really, you like Bon Chon’s fried chicken. I have this taste for chicken which should be a bit salty but not sweet, though if it is of sweet and sour taste, I would surely love it. You have a sweet tooth indeed, since you like it.

DIY Burgers , which literally means Do It Yourself Burgers , is a restaurant that serves very big burger and you can customize what to put in your burger by choosing what are those stuffs you want. For every filling , there is a corresponding amount. he he he

And just like you, if it is a family outing and have a big budget , we will certainly go to Max’s .

But if not McDo or Jollibee would be affordable yet so filling already. 🙂

    • I haven’t tried Bon Chon though it was opened months ago in mall here. I don’t like sweet chicken. Of those you mentioned, I (we) like Max’s best, though the other ones are cheaper. My next choice is Jollibee chicken. Thanks for the review, and yes, these companies should pay you for endorsing their chicken!

    • I like it so much.

      • @Mohammad Rafiq Akhtar ,

Which one of those do you like much? I have enumerated and described 6 different stores that serves it.

Do you like the breaded fried chicken or the as it is fried chicken?

In your place, what are those stores who serves delicious fried chickens?

So which one do you like going to, to eat fried chicken. How much do they cost? Do they come with rice and a coke too?

    • Is fried chicken one of your favorites too? For me, it is. It cannot be helped that when I go to the mall I would always choose fried chicken with rice budget meal.

That price of $5 is expensive compared to the fastfood outlet’s budget meals for 2 piece chicken, with rice , gravy and a drink.

Though for the fine dining restaurants, the are the same for their budget meal of chicken with side dish, a dessert and softdrinks.

April is the birth month of my mother, and I missed her so much. She was gone, six years ago!

My mother was a very ideal woman, very loving and very industrious. She had raised us so well, though we were poor […]

    • Same here! April 20 is my mom’s birthday. And just like you, my parents have been a good role model to us their siblings.

      Thanks for the article.

      • Thanks Ruby. We children just wanted to show gratitude for the values they had inculcated in us. And we writers/bloggers are fortunate enough to tell the world how great our respective parents were.

Are your parents still alive? You are fortunate enough to have them around.

    • My parents have been a good role model to us.

    • Feel how much your mother and father have inspired and inculcated so many good deeds in you. I find that generally people who are in difficulty and struggling to run their lives and those of their children are the ones who children are able to imbibe such habits. Your remembering your mother shows how much she cared for the whole family too. She had a natural talent for crafts and arts which seems to have come to you to and certain impressions of childhood seem to be well etched in your mind.

The best tribute for your mother seems to be people remembering her with a smile. Nowadays it is better if one has not friends but never has any one complaining or speaking ill of them. That is a great achievement which your mother seems to have achieved with the kind of life she lived and the dedication with which she has served the family and made it into a fit unit. Thanks for the share.

      • Thank you Krishna Kumar for your comments. I found this article as a way of giving tribute to my parents, particularly to my mother who did all her best during her lifetime to make our family well, and to impart to us her good traits. She did not show taught us in words, or through lip service alone, but through her deeds.
I could not forget her sacrifices when we were still young; and yes, I love her way of making crafts like embroidery. I wish parents today would also be good models for their children, so they can raise good people in the community.

    • You got a very hardworking and I should say a dignified mother.

She served all of you so well, even waking up early to cook and prepare for all of you before going to school.

I think you have inherited the love for crafts such as crocheting of your mother. Really, she embroidered the pillow cases? Yes, you can cut the embroidered portion and have them framed as a remembrance from her.

Lucky for us for having mothers who are caring and loving.

      • Thanks Dina. I always think that our mothers really considered their children as gems; their wealth. It is sad to compare them with some mothers today, who never instill discipline among their children. Maybe I really inherited her love for crafting. I enjoyed it so much, though sometimes my husband says, I better buy one instead of using so much time and effort doing those things.

    • You had a wonderful mother and she will always be in your memory. My mom is the best woman I ever knew, but maybe so can say every child about his mom. Fortunately she is still alive, but I have lost my dad six years ago.

      • Thanks Fortune. You are really fortunate to still have your mother arund. You can always have someone to lean on, to talk with when you are down or when you are happy. I envy people who still have their mothers with them!

    • My mother died when I was 6 years old, I never had remembered how she cuddled me, that is why I wrote her a blog about a must to love our mother. Lucky are those whose mother are still alive.Without them would never experience the joys and pains of life. I always miss my mother and father.

      • Oh, it’s so sad to know about this. It is so different when mother is around; though your father is there, I don’t know, mothers have that different way of expressing love to their children. Anyway, maybe your father, your aunts or relatives can tell you so much about your mother when she was still around.
