yeah when it happens in reality, it might turn the other way round.
Do you know how to swim?
Actually, you can teach your mom and wife to learn swimming, then you don;t have to save them either!

you should be sitting next to your favorite girl when watching scary movie!
You know what I mean!
I prefer comedy movies than romantic movies, gives me goosebumps since I am married.
Funny to have that kind of feeling

actually, you are multi-talented person
although you had learn how to play half way through, at least you had tried, piano, guitar, drum and xylophone
That is one thing good about learning musical instruments at school.
I wished I had the opportunity

wow I am shocked to read that you don’t like watching romantic movies shavkat, I thought women like those kinds of movies because they actually speak to them in a way but people are different anyway. but scary movies are not for me at all.

@Shavkat, When I was young, I learned to strum a guitar, but when I reached high school my interest died down and replaced with many organizations, I was not alone. How nice if I could play hi tech instruments.
Me I think it is a good idea to learn this things early in life so that when you get there you have a pretty good idea of what you are getting into. it is a scary affair really especially if it is a first time but for me my mum is a nurse so it was easy for me learn from her with my sister’s kids. it was awesome being able to hold a young child by…[Read more]

I never experienced spanked by my parents and even my elder sisters and brothers. That is why I dare not spank my cute and little and noisy nieces and nephews hehehe. I just talk to them telling them to observe silence for other members at home are having high blood pressure, and they stopped.

I am singe and never been married, so no kid and no experience bathing an infant. bathing an infant needs extra care for the baby is so vulnerable.

You have said it very well teaching a child when they are still toddlers is good. that way they get to be responsible but there are some children who can be very unruly sometimes that may require a little beating. I don’t agree with beating them all the time because they could get used to it and that could stir trouble. being able to talk to the…[Read more]

This is a common question that is often asked for married or single man .
This is the answer that my hubby gave me:
“Nope, I won’t save any of you because I can’t save my own life either!
I can’t swim !”
It was a hilarious answer but this question shows how much you value your wife and your mom, who is more important in your life.

the first time I learnt how to bathe my newborn baby right after birth was the first day when we came back home.
My mom-in-law taught me to use “black tiger beer” mix with warm water to bath my baby , she said there is a tradition belief that beer will make the baby stronger like a tiger, brave and…[Read more]

I very much agree with you, @shavkat. The more courses for everyday living skills our kids can get in school, the better! I think it just goes along with learning to cook, clean, budget, and care for their health.
@kaka135 My son used to scream blue murder when we bathed him. I would worry that one of the neighbours would call the police because they thought we were in some way abusing him! he has always loved the water but with all of the challenges his autism presents, he also felt insecure in the bath when he was a little boy.
Even today, now that he’s…[Read more]

@peachpurple I agree with you, I think we are often too busy with other stuffs. Though I am with my children all the time, and I know connection is important, I still think I am not doing enough especially when I am busy with my work or tired.
I actually prefer some bonding time with my children, especially body contact or physical…[Read more]

@shavkat It’s good that you have the experience even before you become a father. I agree with Kyla, I think it has nothing to do with female or even mother, I do agree that we have to be extra careful while taking care of a baby, especially the first few days or first month. I think when we hold and take care of them with love, it will not be as…[Read more]
@sauda I am a mother of 3 children and having a newborn baby now, so yes, I have bathed a baby. I have not bathed or take care of any baby or child before I have my children. It’s good that your mom taught you how to take care of a child.
I have always heard from others, it is so difficult to handle a newborn baby, especially when bathing them. I…[Read more]

@rebecca I’m sure that looking after a young pup has its challenges, and sometimes they may be similar to caring for a baby. But I don’t think that getting up multiple times a night to prevent the puppy messing the carpet is quite the same as caring for a newborn! In some ways, it’s more stressful.
When the time comes, you’ll discover that…[Read more]
@sauda Bathtime is often held to be almost a sacred moment shared between parent and child. I can’t say it was always pleasant with my kids, as pretty much all of them had sensory issues that made being in the water frightening or unpleasant at times. But still, we found our moments 🙂
@shavkat The secret they didn’t teach you in school is…[Read more]
