I think I will disagree with you.on this one. I believe in the saying that experience is the best teacher. We are told that life is not a straight line we have to face hurdles to succeed. If it was indeed a straight line would we be having experiences no. And there are good and bad experiences, they are that to correct and earn us, so it’s up to an individual to know what they are getting themselves into. This is why we have eyes ears and mouths, so that we can see hear and speak. No one can come up to you and tell you to do something that you know is going to hurt you,and you still go ahead and do it. And anyway we are always told that you have to experience something to learn but again there is the caution part of it that’s my take on this.

Actually, at one point I will agree with you but at other point I will disagree with you. To experience they said is the best teacher because experience isn’t what you passed through but what learnt from what you passed through.
So at one point, one can learn from what happened to other people and at another point, one can learn also from what happened to him or her.
Experience remains our best teacher. whether it happened to you or not. Once you learned something from the event, it becomes an experience to you because you can advice other from your experience.
Therefore, do not wait until it happen to you before you learn.
Thanks for posting.

Experience can be a good teacher. But listening to those who have wisdom is better. I have found that if I listen to the advice of the wise who have already made the mistake and had the experience, that’s an even better teacher and I have no regrets.
