Relationships aren’t something one should enter into lightly. In fact, my first piece of advice would be to ask yourself the following questions, before entering into a relationship with someone in Law Enforcement.
Are You An Independent Person
This question is very important as someone working in the field of Law Enforcement, it’s a…[Read more]

Mahesh replied to the topic When is it time to stop trying and give up? in the forum Family & Relationships 7 years, 8 months ago
I think that is difficult question to answer. Because at some point people say never give up and at some people say that you should give up and spend time elsewhere. I guess it depends on the context. And we have to understand where exactly things are better left alone. That is what is going to decide how much we are going to have to struggle and…[Read more]

This is a very tough question to answer and will probably vary from individual to individual.
I feel nowadays there is too much discontent and marriages and relationships are disintegrating much faster. People have less patience and gratitude and more anger and frustration.

Some people had suffered so much before they realized it is wrong even from the start. Or some are aware it is wrong but they continue to be in it, because the relationships really matter. It really depends on decisions and how long you can handle to be in the situation.

I think this is a question that many struggle with, when is it time to give up? Each and every relationship in your life will go through some hardships, but a person can only take so much. So how much should a person endure, how much heartache and pain should you face before you get the courage and will power to say enough is enough and pack up…[Read more]

Yeah, I got your point @mahesh. By just lending, our ears, listen and understanding others problem is enough than giving lots of advice that are not helpful to them.
Though giving advice is helpful but think it twice if it really complements with the situation.

I agree that some of the time we give generic advice. And that is not even got to be placed in the right context. I have seen that some of the time person can end up in more of troublesome situation by doing that. Advice needs to be given only if that is meant to be helping in one way or the other. Most likely people don’t have much to say and…[Read more]
Tracy replied to the topic Small Family or Big Family? in the forum Family & Relationships 7 years, 8 months ago
I think it depends on the couple whether they can handle lots of children or just one or two. I personally will only be able to handle two children maximum because I have very little patience, and more than two children would drive me insane. I think it also depends on your financial situation and how many children you can afford to support and raise.

We sometimes give people excellent advice only to learn that it does not apply to them and is therefore not very helpful.
All who offer counsel from God’s Word should take care to thoroughly understand a person’s situation before giving advice.

I do care about the elderly o e because my mum is also elderly and i love to give her attention whenever i can because it is paramount that i care for her like she did with me when i was growing up. All of us will one day also grow old, and the question we should ask ourselves is, how would we wnt to be treated when we grow old? Once you answer…[Read more]

I think the elderly are very important and they should be treated with lots of respect and love. A lot of countries don’t worry about there elderly and they live there last days miserably. My heart goes out to elderly people that are suffering without the basic needs and love. The elderly are a link to our past and should be cherished.
