Living in the south (United States) we have a few “bizarre” foods. At least I think they are bizarre. Some here eat what is called chitlins or Chitterlings. It’s normally made from the small intestines of a pig. BTW chitlins stinks to high heavens. Tripe is similar to chitlins but is made from beef (cow). There is also hog maws which is made from the pig’s stomach. My grandmother’s favorite was hog head cheese.

There is also hog maws which is made from the pig’s stomach. My grandmother’s favorite was hog head cheese. Then we have pickled pigs feet. It seems that every single part of the pig is used in the south.

I have even seen people eat deep fried butter. I still haven’t figured that one out. Fried alligator on a stick is a fair delicacy and is really good. I’m sure some people will find that a little odd.

So some things I might try while others I know I will not even give it a thought of trying. I stopped eating all forms of pork 5 years ago.

Let’s be honest, there is no healthy way to lose weight fast. You can still eat a healthy diet and exercise and still never shed a pound. Then what are these people to do then? Some have issues with thyroid or other health problems that prevent them from working out. I think anyone wanting to lose weight should first seek their doctor’s approval and look for  a dietician that can help with the food part.

Water is always great to drink and can be dressed up in many different ways with fruits and vegetables. I, myself like adding lemons to my water. But did you know that a lot of fruits contain water and is a good source of water?

It really is not hard to determine where the traffic is coming from on any site especially if they have google analytics installed. It tells you where they visited, how long, who referred them, and so forth. The site just needs a person to watch over these on a daily basis. My favorite ones are when it tells you it’s an organic view.

Every writing site has these problems with people who think they can buy views and get away with it. They don’t think they will ever get caught.

Do you mean do outside views count? I am not certain but on most sites outside views do count as a view count the first time they look at your articles.

I was asked to join this site when it first opened months ago but I knew by the way it looked that it wouldn’t be a good place to write. Then when I saw Kayla became a moderator there I knew how she has this power thing about herself that she will try to make the site more about her and not about the writers. She needs to understand that moderating and editing of others articles is not a good thing and only shows that they do not trust the writers. Not everyone speaks English as their first language and do try their best in writing.

I doubt I will ever write there since they can not determine how much each coin will be. If they are waiting on revenue from ads then they may be waiting a long time. It’s not easy to generate the needed amount in a month to cash out from Adsense. They are pretty strict. I wouldn’t be surprised if they are losing money from invalid traffic and clicks.

My mobile internet works well at times but when I really need it is when it lets me down. I will use wifi in certain places if the place offers free wifi. But most of the time I’m left using my own internet. I pay $45 a month for unlimited internet, calls and text so i’m all good.

I beg to differ. I am a lady and got this same exact email. I think it is absurd that someone would stoop this low to write something like this. I am sure this person has reached out to others here as well.

You could always write to the admins and ask them to delete your articles and your account. I’m sure they would do so if you gave a valid reason to do so. Christi34 is not as useless as one says she is and is quite helpful when asked nicely.

@Rajarman K it’s not nice to talk badly about a person when it was you that broke the rules of the site. Plagiarism is a very serious offense. I believe it was the owner (Kisser) that asked Christi to tell you that your account was locked. She is just an admin and has no power than what the owner tells her to do. So you should stop spreading your lies about her.

Reading through all these comments, I am wondering exactly how many people actually work for Literacy Base? With so many writers constantly submitting articles on a daily basis, surely there is more than one person working behind the scenes? Surely there isn’t only one person doing all the work. If so then I can see why things are being pushed back the way it is. What I don’t understand is why must an article go through an editorial process if the writer has been here since the beginning. Doesn’t the owner trust the writer by now?

Don’t get me wrong but I just don’t understand a site like this. It has no set rate and has no set rules. Telling someone that it should abide by the site policies but yet don’t tell what those policies are is a set up to fail. I see no place where it mentions what the minimum should or shouldn’t be. This site is not clear on anything.

This is a reason why I have yet to write a post here on LB. I think it would be a waste of time to even do so.

I tried joining this site but never got the confirming email that supposed to came with it. I am also having trouble signing in. I tried to contact the people and was sent to another link so I eventually gave up. If it is given me that much trouble then most likely it’s not all that good in the first place. A site paying one cent for views will eventually shut down before you know it. There is no way they will be able to keep with the people and views at that rate. The ads will not pay like they think either.

I have yet to write a post here on LB but on other sites, I strive to write only articles that I have knowledge about and try not to worry about the word count. If I write on topics I know then I am sure I will surpass the minimum with no problem. If I am struggling with writing then I sometimes give up writing that article for another time or I give up completely. Makes no sense in writing the bare minimum when I can do so much better. But here lately I haven’t been in the mood to write.

Many sites are like this and follow the Universal Time (UTC/GMT) but I guess it depends on where the site is actually located. I’m not quite certain where LB is originated.

I love horror stories and horror movies. With that being said, I think I read too much about something before it actually comes out in the movie form. I have knowledge of both Conjuring stories so when I saw both movies I was actually a little disappointed. Conjuring 2 could have been so much better if had more of the true facts in the movie. I didn’t find it scary at all.

Conjuring 1, was okay, not scary at all. I am friends with Andrea Perron, one of the girls that this story is based on (she’s grown now) and I have read her book. Her books are scarier than the movie. She goes into more detail than what is allowed. I would be scared to live in that house or in that area.

Don’t get me wrong, both movies were good, they could have been scarier. 🙂

I was never a member of this site but I used to read a few articles from different people I knew there. I see their admin, Rex Trulove, has gone to BlogBourne. He seems to be on a lot of sites that all of the sudden closed for unknown reasons.

Sheridan hasn’t been around, if he has, then there has been no announcement from him or any kind of update. I believe the people of the site that stuck around deserve some kind of announcement to let them know what is going on instead of being in the dark.

But the place looks like a ghost town that is slowly dying. I honestly think the site will eventually close for good. It’s the only when part that I don’t know. I hope the writers are able to get their material from the site before they officially close.

I was told when working at IHOP if someone came in to rob the place to simply fall out (down). We were also told we could break a window if need be to escape from a fire.

I think in certain situations they do need a crisis management like in schools. Teachers need to know what to do in case of emergency no matter what that emergency is. America has too many school shootings and in certain parts of the country have bad weather sometimes that can cause tornados and such.
