In response to your closing question: Yes I believe it. Governments, i.e. the folks “in charge”, do some unimaginable things. History bears that out.
With respect to the title of your post, hope you don’t mind me contributing my “two cents”. The irony of terrorism is that the terrorists will not call themselves terrorists for what they do to others, but if others did the same things to them, they would say it was an act of terrorism. Everybody is right in their own eyes. But God is able to judge. So for those who are not on either side? “Heavenly Father, deliver us from evil.”
-
I don’t know but I think I changed my title three times but I was not feeling contented on the previous and even this. But I got your point, because I have read once a phrase that we judge other people on what they do and judge ourselves base on our intentions.
Which means also terrorists are not only those hiding fighting on what they believe and they kill people because they need to kill, but also those in government doing nothing or just sitting but selling the guns.
-
I’m glad you understood me.
Killing is murder. We are not talking about an act of self-defense or in defense of family or someone else. We are not talking about an accidental or wrongful death that happened but it was unintentional. We are not talking about war where you are an enlisted soldier or a police officer with legal authority to discharge a weapon in the line of duty. We are talking the planned premeditated taking of another person’s life or the lives of many people, and those murderous acts being used to terrorize or strike fear in others, so that either the remaining living people can be controlled and/or so that those committing the terrorist acts can demand whatever they want and their demands will be met.
Bottom line? There is not a human being on the planet who does not KNOW when their human rights are being violated and their life or the lives of those they love and want to protect are being threatened. When they recognize that the life and death situation they are in, they don’t care if it’s a “terrorist” or a “freedom fighter” or a “government”, they just want to escape ALIVE!

I can. It suits a Gov. to have an ‘enemy’ so that everything it does, no matter how repressive is right.
-
building or making our enemy, this is an irony. It seems the best writers for a movie sequence are in the government. In the end,the losers and sacrifice are the little people asking what is happening and cannot understand the name of the game.
-
-
Not only governments, all those countries who lecture other nations about war, terrorism and human rights are biggest producers and sellers of weapons and arms. The arms industry is worth billions of dollars and I have no doubt in my mind that they fund terrorism and supply weapons to both sides (government and rebels) so that their economy flourishes.
You want to know another irony, those who manufacture and export weapons are highly developed countries. The countries with import weapons are extremely poor with no fund for basic infrastructure, health, education etc. for their people.
-
The dark side of high profiled business. Its hard to understand why we have a war, its easy to understand but you will cry when you know the truth– we build, create and make our own enemy. Is this a kind of war games? The sad truth, the innocent, children, poor people are the victims of this war games. We are sacrifice just for them to bank millions of dollars.
Nose bleeding me.

This is not a surprise to know that the Government stocks are being sold to the Terrorists by the Government officials. This is the meanest act on the part of Government . This is a cowardly act. The highly developed countries in their fight for Global supremacy have taken some wrong step somewhere at some time and are unable to take it back. This is the outcome of that wrong decision and step which the other countries are experiencing now. Do you believe? if I say that it was Md. Taraqui of Afghanistan who approached the USSR for help in their fight against Iran ? It is still continuing now.
-
so its like… because there are armory, arsenals and ammos but there are no enemies, we sell these stuffed to the people that can make them able to combat and make them unpopular to the place, and then the war begins because we just ignited it. It is really unbelievable this thing is happening to many countries. We make our own enemies and we supply them so we can make some war. Bad business.
-
-
Terrorism has been a pain in everyone’s heart all over the world, and no one seems to know who is behind it. It’s very unfortunate to know that it is not people from other countries who start terrorism in countries there is always someone behind the whole thing in that very country or government the terrorism is happening. We have heard so many stories about it and how it’s is formed and the best conclusion that comes out is nothing far from the truth that someone superior or some tycoon is the one aiding or supplying the arms to perform this acts. In Africa it’s said that this terrorists go through certain countries and use some locals to be able to get to th places that they need to go to and in turn give out some hefty payments to be let free. And in this life money has suddenly become a livelihood for many so people would give anything in exchange for money very sad indeed.
-
There are instances when terror outfits have used weapons earlier supplied by Governments and forces on the very forces later which supplied the weapons.
-
So, this is how they play a game, what a mockery. We should have a dream now, that there will be no crooked people thinking of war and battles but only talking about peace and unity, no guns but only funs, no tanks but only thanks.
This is supposed to be humanity is.

I have said many time that those who change their leader keeping in mind some betterment for the public a day dream because the new will come worst than the former as has happened in Philippe.
The most common definition of a “leadership problem” is a “leader problem”—a problem stemming from the person or people in charge, such as managers, chairpersons, or team leaders. Are they not doing their jobs? How can they improve their effectiveness?
Do they need to be replaced? It is reasonable to examine what the individuals with formal authority in the group are or are not doing that is contributing to the group not achieving results. However, the quick leap from “leadership problem” to “leader problem” can create tunnel vision.

This is why the whole world is appreciating the action and the decision of Mr. Duterte. He is dynamic and practical. What he said he is doing. What is the use of this pushers when they are spoiling the youth of the Country? No country can move forward if the youth lost their vitality and vigor. Mr. Duterte has taken a very very serious note of the issue and ordered the killing of these pushers and peddlers of drugs. A decision none of his predecessors could take and implement. The Philippines are greatly in need of this great man. He is a man of action. All the previous Presidents and their supporters should bow their heads in utter shame in front of this man.
-
That is right, though the move of President Rody Duterte have been getting much attention not only in the Philippine archipelago but also in United Nations, USA and other countries around the world. But the fact that the advantage weighs more than the disadvantages, it is therefore a good consideration for him to continue the drive against illegal war.
Though people have one clamor at him, to help the widows of the killed husbands and fathers. Many of these victims are head of the family, bread winner, and not helping them will only give another problem to the country who have been in the middle of poverty.

We are so proud for having a great president this time. Those who claim about EJK might have involvement of drug. Philippines has been long suffering from deadly diseases from corrupt and addict politicians.Who would take that former Human rights justice is a drug protector and not only drug, she is also an immoral woman for having sexed with high profile addict in the Bilibid prison. Delima is a shameless devil pretending to be cleaned and doing her job. The people in Ph are now in bad mood for Delima, Drillon, Trillanes and Hontiveros They are true devils in Philippines.
-
@cely I didn’t you are a Filipino. Truthfully, basing from your profile photo I thought you are an American. Well, maybe because you have a good close up photo.
Anyway, about Leila De Lima and the sex scandal and the drug trades and the issue at New Bilibid Prison. It has branched now to many issues and stories and that includes intimate moments of the senator, wigs, crush among others. I am just so amused of the so many memes in the facebook. Well, I think we need to focus now on drugs.
-
-
I think those who make drug practice why the government does not take action against the such people because there is some secrets behind it working in the bottom of the political sea.
I say that Drug addiction is a chronic, often relapsing brain disease that causes compulsive drug seeking and use, despite harmful consequences to the drug addict and those around them. Drug addiction is a brain disease because the abuse of drugs leads to changes in the structure and function of the brain.
But Many people don’t understand why or how other people become addicted to drugs. They may mistakenly think that those who use drugs lack moral principles or willpower and that they could stop their drug use simply by choosing to.
In reality, drug addiction is a complex disease, and quitting usually takes more than good intentions or a strong will. Drugs change the brain in ways that make quitting hard, even for those who want to. Fortunately, researchers know more than ever about how drugs affect the brain and have found treatments that can help people recover from drug addiction and lead productive lives.
Long-term use also causes changes in other brain chemical systems and circuits as well, affecting functions that include:
learning
judgment
decision-making
stress
memory
behavior

Honesty is a state of mind. More specifically, with regards to each individual, it is your state of mind and how you perceive truth and integrity versus lies, hypocrisy and such like. Most don’t have a problem making the distinction or differentiation, which is why they can usually point to an honest person when they see one. But some people do have a problem. They have a reprobate mind, that is to say a conscience that can’t discern between what’s good and what’s evil, what is honest and what is dishonest. I’ve heard there are people like that but I’ve personally never met anybody who was. Most of the people I crossed paths with clearly know the difference between right from wrong, which means they make a deliberate and willful choice to either be honest and trustworthy or dishonest and untrustworthy. A dishonest person can turn and choose to be honest. A honest person can turn and choose to become dishonest. Each day we live we are faced with making this same decision over and over. “It’s a new day! Why way do I go?”
-
I remember a famous line “honesty is the best policy”. Even during my high school life I have heard already this line. Until now this is also being uttered in school.
Honesty is all over our lives. In school if we don’t copy from our classmates, in marriage if we don’t cheat our wife or our husband; in office if we don’t get bond paper and bring it home. Even in our daily lives, we meet many honest people returning the money (big or small amount) the picked in the streets. These are heroes of their own.
Dedication and being responsible might contribute to honesty, but there are many things we can contribute to make it happen, like loyalty to our marriage, truthfulness to our study among other.
This is honesty for me.
-
yes. Duty is done with a necessity. Dedication is doing your duty that gives self-satisfaction. Responsibility is doing duty within the framework of established rules and procedures. A work done honestly will cover these three things within itself. Honesty is the jewel of a person’s personality. It elevates the personality of a person in the society. A person with honesty will always be treated with respect in the society. This is the one aspect which can not be viewed relatively.
-
Honesty is th3 best virtue someone could have in their life. When you are honest you don’t have to worry about anybody suspecting you of anything. Honesty also brings about trust something that most people don’t think about most of the time, others disregard it thinking that it is a waste of time because everyone seems to be telling lies. Well the truth is everybody has a way of doing things others may be good others ask bad. But why tell lies when you know your inner being is not being truthful. You cannot love a healthy and peaceful life when you lie about everything or something’s. If you have a conscience that lie that you made will make you so uncomfortable, it will always keep you on toes to make sure that you do not spill the beans and I don’t think that’s a very nice place to be. You will always feel like some is suspecting you or you feel guilty, what’s the point of getting yourself so stressed out when you can actually avoid it by telling the truth. I personally don’t like telling lies because am not good at hiding it for so long someone would tell immediately that an lying. So honesty is the best policy keep it that way for a healthy you.
-
duty at work, life in the society, all these things need honesty, and life without it is really hard and with it is so great really, but everything has an end and dishonesty will have an end too, honesty is the key to peace and love and good family life, honesty is meaning to me old says and old people, they knew the honest and morals more than humans in our generation, but honesty is a rule that is wrintten here and there and wanted all the time and at all the places, but who listens, no body, that is why there is fake honesty now a days, and for bud luck they are good in showing as if they are realy honest, we hope that these people will learn that its not good for them and to their families too

So Tadek and Gangsa are Dance and Musical instruments. It is played by elderly people. But I am seeing some young ladies in the picture posted. Why only elderly people play. Why they tap their foot back and why the ladies forward? The dance appears to be some similarities with the dances of Manipur and Mizoram. The theme behind the dance is also very excellent We may name it as harvest dance. Still how many dances are there. What is the main dance of the people?
-
Tadek is a traditional practices and traditions are best practice by the elder people. But tradition is dying because of modern living. The most effective to pass the tradition is to teach them to the younger generations, which being done now in our region. The steps are being taught to them and there are reasons why it is done like that.
But actually, tadek is not only for harvest dance, this can also be perform in weddings, rituals, festivals among others. Every occasion varies different kind of tadek dance.

You have mentioned that the person in question was an Octagenarian and he was digging for a root crop. How can he dig such a deep one? He was aged and weak also. The reason for killing this man might be due to old rivalry resulted as an act of revenge. or;
While digging for the root crop he might have noticed some hidden treasure. As he could not lift it up he might have sought the help of another person, who after seeking the treasure might have killed him with greediness. or while taking out the treasure some passerby might have noticed him and killed him taking everything. Anything is possible. This is money which does not require any mercy and relationships end up in acquiring. No father, mother, sister and other relations. Money has become the ultimate truth in life. Or he might have noticed some hidden drugs while digging and somebody might have killed him and took possession of the drugs.
I do not think there are any other reasons than the above.
This is in which country?-
Everybody now has their own speculations to the incident but lets just say the angel of hidden treasure is out because of the history and previous lives of the victim.
His son was shot to death last month because he is considered one of the bigger drug personality in their town. Allegedly, his son was also involved in other lawlessness in their place that include shooting and killing. But because of the influence and fear, they never went to a jail.
He might be old but revenge is just one of the angle of this incident.

The last mass is on Christmas day. The Christmas celebrations continue to the First Sunday in January when Epiphany or the Feast of the Three Kings is celebrated. In the Philippines the early masses held before Christmas are called the ‘Misa de Gallo’ or ‘Simbang Gabi’ in Filipino.
People in the Philippines like to celebrate Christmas for as long as possible! The playing of Christmas carols in shops can start in September! The formal Christmas celebrations start on 16th December when many people go the the first of nine pre-dawn or early morning masses.
Most Filipinos are Christians with about 80% of people being Catholics. It’s the only Asian country with so many Christians. Because of this, Christmas is the most important holiday in the Philippines. December is actually one of the ‘cooler’ months of the year in the Philippines. The Philippines only has two real seasons, wet (June to October) and dry (April and May). December is one of the months in between the wet and dry seasons.
Christmas customs in the Philippines are a mixture of western and native Filipino traditions. (Christianity became widely known in The Philippines in the 1500s when missionaries from countries like Portugal and Spain traveled to the area.) So people in the Philippines have Santa Claus (or ‘Santa Klaus’), Christmas trees, Christmas cards and Christmas carols from western countries!
