@cmoneyspinner Hi. Thank you so much. I am very confused about blogjob. I don’t know whether I should delete my posts there and bring them here or just wait? At the moment, I do not have to delete and repost so the Movie Magic blog will stay on blogjob. If you wish, you can share links though I am not sure if they will benefit you, me or […] View

@lovern  Where did you hear the news about Blogjob? It would be wonderful if this is true. Niume has met a sad end too but it seems to me that the owners and admins lose interest in their own site after a while. There were too many low-quality pictures and texts with just hashtags and nobody took any action.  It was a fun, stress free site and I will miss it.

But maybe we will see more action here.

Views and earnings have come to a complete standstill on Niume now. It is really very sad that in spite of all the use of social media, our articles earn so little.

One big problem is that people do not even bother to write 5 lines to accompany their pictures and there is very little quality control. Though they have now introduced moderators but with thousands of posts getting published each month, I don’t think they are able to manage it all.

And of course, if the owners/site admins decide to do hanky-panky with views and stats there is very little we can do about it.

I used to spend a lot of time on Niume but now I have little interest left.

I have been very busy and so I have not been very active on Literacy base. I currently have $4 in my account so I don’t think I will reach payment threshold in April but I will definitely try to reach this amount in May

I hope those who have not been paid do get paid. It is good to see the site thriving.

I have searched the story that you have related and on most websites it has been termed a hoax, such as Snopes.com. However I fully respect your passion and love for your religion.

Being a Muslim, I will only answer your question: Do Muslims believe in Jesus Christ?

The simple answer is Yes we do.

We cannot be Muslims unless we believe that Hazrat Isa (Jesus) was a messenger of Allah and sent for the guidance of mankind at those times just like Noah, Abraham, Moses, Yosef, David (peace be upon them all) were all messengers from Allah.

Muslims respect and revere Jesus (peace be upon him) as one of the greatest of Allah’s messengers to mankind but we do not accept him as God or Son of God.  Our holy book, the Quran confirms his virgin birth, and there is a chapter in the Quran entitled ‘Surah Maryam’ (Chapter of Mary).

Jesus was born miraculously by the command of God. Muslims also believe that Hazrat Isa (Jesus) performed many miracles by the command of Allah. It is stated in the Quran that Jesus said to his followers:

“I have come to you with a sign from your Lord.  I make for you the shape of a bird out of clay, I breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by God’s permission.  I heal the blind from birth and the leper.  And I bring the dead to life by God’s permission.  And I tell you what you eat and what you store in your houses….”   (Quran, 3:49)

Muslims also believe that Jesus Christ was not crucified.  It was the plan of Jesus’ enemies to crucify him, but Allah saved him and raised him up to the Heavens

We believe that Hazrat Isa will come back down at the end of time before the Day of Judgement.

I think to be on the safe side, it is always better to request payment by 25th or 27th of the month.

It will keep us from being frustrated and disappointment that may arise because our dates and timings are mixed up.

Very true. when we near the end of a good book, we do feel a sense of sadness. I feel it every time I read teh Harry Potter series.

Somebody once said, Finishing a good book is like leaving a good friend. but the good part is that we can meet the same friends over and over again every time we open the book.

Which book are you reading, by the way>?

@shelly osborne As mentioned in other replies, write your post in word processor and try again. Check out if all other requirements are fulfilled like tags, image and a long title and hopefully you won’t have any problems.

Good luck!

I think it is easier to aim for a dollar a day. It is achievable without mentally and physically burning yourself out.

I don’t think even a very prolific writer spending 10-12 hours here can write 10 lengthy articles on a daily basis but it would be great if we can help literacy base earn more money and hopefully the payment rate per article can increase too.

Nowadays I am most active on these three sites:

Niume

Quizbook

Earnably

I have reviewed all these in detail on my blog Dawnwriter’s Blog but it is a slow process and a lot depends on how much time you can spare but all these sites pay promptly and have been around a long time.

I have an account on MyLot too but somehow I lost interest in it.

Whenever I am feeling depressed, I tell myself i have only a limited amount of time in this world, and i refuse to spend it in misery.

Writing always helps so does a walk, meditation, prayers, crying and some ice cream.

But above all, support must come from within ourselves. Because once we allow depression to overwhelm us it is very difficult to get rid of negative thoughts.

I am so sorry to hear about your job loss. It is becoming very difficult to earn online by writing but maybe if you try a combination of different things like maybe teaching someone a language via Skype, translation jobs or selling stuff online.

Check out places like Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer etc. Good luck and I hope something works out. And yes, writing a blog is a great idea. But please don’t feel discouraged or depressed. Hopefully things will work out.

This is a very tough question to answer and will probably vary from individual to individual.

I feel nowadays there is too much discontent and marriages and relationships are disintegrating much faster. People have less patience and gratitude and more anger and frustration.

I think everything should be in moderation and we should have enough sense and self control to say no to those foods that are really bad for us.

Being a Muslim, certain foods are not permitted for us to eat and drink. Similarly when fasting we stay away from all food and drink from dawn to sunset even if we are preparing food or serving it to other family meembers who are not fasting.

So yes it can be done. It is a matter of will power and some understanding of what junk food, alcohol and other harmful things like cigarettes do to our health.
