usually read the news about car accidents, lorry accidents, motorbike accidents.
However, lately, it is more violent, stabbing and slashing murder plots, I think people are watching too much violent movies that had affected their mindset.
For example, a stepson murdered 3 of this family members , seriously injured another 3 family members by…[Read more]

@ Shavkat most of the accidents we hear in our country are road accidents. It’s due to overcrowded roads, carelessness and not following the law. However as far elderly people suffering from old age related accidents that is common everywhere.

@Shavkat I did not mention my mother in law but my mom. By the way we do not keep a track of our wife’s mother in general even if we live in the same city. In my case, my mother in law passed away years ago.
@peachpurple You mean you live with your in-laws but do not cook combined but separately! I suggest you to please do your father-in law a favor and share some of the dishes you cook so magnificently. I do not write a comment on them being a vegetarian but read them all FYI 🙂

I am married, staying with my in laws
Ironically, it is my mother in law who leads in this family, not my father-in-law
I once was told by my father in law that he was being bullied by her ( his wife).
He said that my mother in law refused to cook for him that he had to cook his own meal
In addition, if he does anything like gardening or…[Read more]
@Shavkat on the contrary my father was kind of dominating, he never asked us but gave us orders and we never hesitated carrying them out.
@Lola My mom was a kind lady who never tried to dictate terms but as far her work culture she was firm and final her decisions. My father always respected her opinion.

My father always led our family when he was alive as he was the oldest and the male in the family (traditional old style American household). Now that he’s passed away and it’s just my mother and I we both share responsibility. My mother does handle the finances though as I don’t have any income coming in at the moment due to being unable to w…[Read more]
@Anand Never mind, I have accepted the fact as it is very much part of the life and we have no control on such things.

@ suny Thanks suny for your kind words. And feel sad about you, I can understand your feelings.
@Anand I hope you remain the same under your father’s kind attention. But I miss my dad who left us for his last journey almost 6 years before. I wish you all the bet in your future life!
@suny You know me really well. Yes that is true. I am easy going person and I want peaceful life. I am happy with whatever I have, and don’t want more either. My dad has gave me always good advice, so I am glad to have him.
@Anitah Gimase exactly, I know in many parts of the world woman is head of the family like in our country itself there are many states where the reins of the household is in the hands of women.
@Anand I am sure you are an easy going person so you must be happy under your father’s control 🙂

Personally i tend to believe that the man is the head of the house all over the world. but it could also be different with some people with different cultures. People have different ways to showing it or doing it. there are some families where the lady is the head of the house, because they are the ones who do everything in the house whether there…[Read more]
@Shavkat Currently my father is holding all power, and I am really fine with it as I can do well with his experience. I always used to follow his advice even in my work.

@alina my father is no more and my mother went to meet her maker even before so being the eldest I am the head of family but I try to take everyone in account and take a combined decision.
alina replied to the topic Who leads your family? in the forum Family & Relationships 8 years, 3 months ago
like most traditional families in my case the leader is my father. he was the one who always took the decisions about pretty much everything. anyway I must say I wouldn’t want my own family to be like this. I would waNT me and my husband to take decisions in common
@Shavkat In my case it is not the same but I let all of the siblings add their suggestions despite being oldest in the family and that too we all living separately.
