celyYou’re welcome! The moderation process at this site really does discourage blogging. Speaking for myself. It discourages me. For bloggers who have consistently proven themselves, there’s no reason why their posts should not appear online instantly, or at least within 24 hours. If I were the moderator, it’s what I would do. For the simple reason, it would relieve my workload!

This site has over a thousand members. Imagine if I’m “the only wizard behind the curtain”. 🙂 That means, at any given time, I might have to review a thousand posts in queue. That’s too much work for one person. (My opinion.) But I don’t own this site. The owners get to run it their way.  I’m happy I’m allowed to be here.  🙂

Agree.  Those in influential positions must always keep in mind that their statements are recorded for the future.  However, that’s not to say they don’t have freedom of speech.  They can say whatever they like.  But it will go in the historical records.  If they don’t mind that, then Hey!  Get on a mountain top and scream!

Yes. Waiting for your posts to be approved does require patience. If it is a viral topic and it does not get immediate approval, it sort of makes it pointless to post about it. What’s hot today may not be hot a day later. Nevertheless this site has income potential. It may not be $100 a month but I’m going to hang in here unless I’m asked to leave.

Cely  ~ peachpurple ~  kaylar  ~ I think if a person sets their mind to do something they will find ways to accomplish it, as long as it’s a reasonable goal. I’m not so sure $100 a month at this site is reasonable. But I would not say it’s impossible either!  🙂

We never ate eggplant when I was growing up. My father had arthritis really bad. I don’t know if my mother knew the health impact or she just didn’t like eggplant. My first professional job was at a savings and loan and the accountants like to go out for lunch. We did Italian one day and I ordered the eggplant parmiagian. I’m like: “This tastes good!!” From that day forward I liked eggplant.  🙂

YAY!  If I can’t eat it, at least I can read about how others enjoy it!  🙂

I do remember this movie.  It was excellent!  Not only was the cast of performers all high caliber but the soundtrack was amazing.  Remember Gabriel’s Oboe?

Have not watched this movie yet.  Need to find it with English subtitles.  It was actually recommended by a member in another online community.  I understand it’s a true story.

It’s making me mad because no character wants to behave in the manner that I predict.  I hate that I keep getting everything wrong!  🙂

Best sites for Kdrama (with English subtitles) are Viki and DramaFever. Don’t have much luck with YouTube unless I just want to listen to the soundtrack. Which I often do. Some of those series have memorable music.

Watched this movie. Loved it! Hritik and Aishwarya were as believable as if they were the real life couple!  5 out of 5 stars.

@Shavkat – Well sir. You have your priorities in order. Obtain rightful payment for your services rendered and have a ready exit or back-up plan just in case things “go south”. That’s life! 🙂

No matter how good employees are, if the folks who run the company don’t know how to manage ALL relationships, the business often does not stay afloat.

I do know of one company where management told them of the decision to close up shop and the employees got together and bought the company. That rarely happens but it should probably happen more often.

The other alternative story I usually here is that the good employees get together with each other and start their own company.  Why not?  They were practically running the business anyway!

Hope things work out for you. On the one hand, a nuisance customer can be very frustrating when you know you’ve done your best.  On the other hand, it’s a blessing to have employment and a consistent pay check.  🙂

The customer is NOT always right. Any employer who does not look into the matter of a complaint and resolve the problem properly will likely end up losing very good employees. If they lose good employees, who will do the good work? No matter what kind of business you’re in, if your company or organization does not produce a “quality product”, you will be out of business! The best thing for the good employee to do – if they can – is get out before the business goes belly up and they don’t have a job! This scenario has been repeated in too many businesses too many times!

Anitah GimaseThanks. That Sunday turned out pretty good. This Sunday (yesterday), I did make it to class and it was a very good study. All the scriptures are empowering but the Sermon on the Mount recorded in the gospel of Matthew, in particular, is very encouraging and strengthening.

@yourseldom – Well I haven’t been there as long as some of the other members. But I was paid. Which is why I cried when that program stopped because I was really surprised when I got paid! It was my 1st payment and my last! I’m not even thinking the owners will restart the program. As far as I know, deletion is allowed. But the reason I kept my blog there is because they do allow certain types of advertising, like affiliate banners, affiliate products, etc. Hoping to earn some residual income through the blog in that way. As far as hosting, the site owners take care of that, so I don’t know anything about it.
