I’m not sure.  I never see a count.  All I see is “Coins for referring a visitor” and a coin for that activity.

Some people use these tools to come up with ideas for blog posts. Maybe they will help. http://www.wordstream.com/blog/ws/2015/02/12/blog-topic-generators

Oh yes! Practically from the moment I started sharing I noticed the activity in my history. It has to be from social sharing because the visitors are from all over the world. They must have clicked on someone’s link I shared because I don’t share that much of my own stuff!!

Bestwriter – Adding on to my previous comments, I share as many ways as I can and have just learned about Flipboard and PLURK and also use a site called Over-Blog (based in Europe). Flipboard is a content aggregator and you can create your own magazine. So I gather posts from Literacy Base and other communities and reshare to my followers. PLURK is a social network. Over-Blog is sort of like Tumblr or Pinterest. Like you say: The more places to share the better. My history does show coins earned for referring visitors.

Peachpurple – I don’t write “per day”. I don’t make any plans or set any goals to write a specific number of posts per day at this site or at any of the similar sites where I am an active member. I write if I have found a topic that’s interesting enough for me to create a post of 300 words. On a good day at Literacy Base, I may publish 2 posts.

It’s much easier to post and publish now that the approval process is instant. As of today (Feb 23, 2017) I have 32 posts. Not much huh? Most of my time here is spent commenting on posts, or in groups or forums, rather than blogging. Even though more money can be earned by blogging, there is no point just generating 300 words for the sake of earning 15 cents. Poor quality content will drag the site down in the search engine rankings.

Some people have a niche or an area of expertise or competency, and can write several posts on a particular topic. I don’t have an expertise or passion, so I freestyle. My post may be about anything from food to politics to history to social media.  That’s how I roll here!  🙂

My husband’s favorite love song of all time is “Nature Boy” performed by Nat King Cole, who wrote this song when he was only 16 years old.  Clearly, he was “the enchanted boy”.  I have to admit it … the song is timeless!

My daughter is in the 20-30 age range. Imagine my surprise when she came home with Stevie Wonder’s album “Innervisions”, which was extremely popular when I was attending the University of Miami (1972-1976).  My son download music from the Internet by artists like Tears for Fears and Queen

Guess when it comes to good music, there is no generation gap! 🙂

When it comes to my favorite Christian hymns, the list is very long. That spiritual music has been comforting me from the earliest years of my life.

I’m revisiting this question because when I woke up this morning my husband was playing some music videos and it got me thinking again about “favorites”.  Of course, it’s an impossible question to answer. Unless maybe you’re 5 years old. 🙂   But the longer you live, the longer your list gets.  🙂  Having thought about again, here are some more music picks.

♥ Back in the 60s, most of my favorite songs actually came from one movie:

“The Sound of Music” (1965; starring Julie Andrews)

♥ By the time it was the year 2000, the year all the computer clocks had to be changed, most of my favorite music once again actually came from one movie. It was the soundtrack to “The Gladiator” (starring Russell Crowe), which in my humble opinion was the “most outstanding soundtrack of the millennium!!!”

* * I’m sure as time goes on, I’ll have some more of my faves to share.

My husband insists that we try to keep carrots, cabbage, and potatoes in the cupboard. 🙂

I wanted to try Middle Eastern flavors and cooked a soup that didn’t have my common everyday ingredients.  My husband and sons enjoyed it so much.  I can’t remember how I cooked it!  Drives me nuts!!  🙂

I like to learn about world cuisines and global flavors. Thank you for teaching me a new word. Baingan. 🙂
