I found posts that led me to Literacy Base because someone had shared them via Google Plus.  Just said that in case some may think sharing doesn’t help.  It does.  Let’s face it!  Sharing via social media is here to stay.  So if you can share via Facebook, Google Plus, Twitter, Tumblr, etc., then do it.  Also, remember to include your own referral ID in the URL when sharing so you get credit for referring visitors.  It will show up in your History.

@bestwriter ~ Thanks for the compliment. I try to supply the updates in the hopes of encouraging other members who may sometimes get discouraged and also because I’m thinking out loud or giving myself a pep talk.   Come on! You can do this!  🙂

It had earning potential.  The best way to describe Tsu would be that you did the same thing on Tsu that you would on Facebook, only with Tsu your link shares, status updates, etc. might generate residual income from others members sharing and liking and commenting.  It was a pseudo-Facebook.  I don’t really understand the failure.  It doesn’t make any sense.  But I don’t access to confidential business info.

On the plus side and hopefully in the immediate near future, both Facebook and Tumblr have plans to monetize their platforms so users can earn or profit from their activity.

Submitted a post for approval last night.  First thing I did wrong was accidentally submit it twice.  But I also noticed and this is a first … the image I picked is not showing up.  It’s a gray box with the word “thumb” in it.  What’s that all about??? (O.o)

LOL.  Thanks so much.  Like they say, “The only dumb question is the one you don’t ask.”

Thank you all for supplying proof of payment via PayPal.  Now I feel silly!  Sorry for asking.  (O.o)

Congrats on your redemption. Now I have a problem. You are the 3rd person who said they received a redemption payment and another person indicated that this site does not have PayPal. If you don’t think my question is too personal, can you please tell me if you received your payment via PayPal? If I can’t use PayPal, I will have to leave this site. Even though I like the site.

Yes.  But even if you don’t purposely select Uncategorized, that’s the category where your post will default to anyway if you don’t pick a category.

You don’t have to put your posts in Uncategorized. If you don’t choose a specific category when you submit your post for approval, it automatically defaults to Uncategorized and shows up there. It has to end up somewhere or else it might not appear in the post archives at all which would mean that nobody would ever even see your post to read it.

Just tried to Register at BlogBourne. Guess the system still has kinks it needs to iron out. Unlike Literacy Base where it was very easy to set up an account and get started, I had no such success at BlogBourne. Also, clicked on an update link that was shared via Facebook and then tried to click on the link for a Facebook group or page provided for BlogBourne by BlogBourne and got a “Security Alert Message”. That’s it for me folks! Y’all can join and have fun at BlogBourne. But I think I’ll pass on this one.

Yes I know that. But people don’t tend to search the Uncategorized because they have an interest in a specific topic. Holidays is one of those topics that people really like. Besides, it doesn’t that much effort for Admin or Support to add a category. This is a WordPress platform. It’s very easy to add or remove categories.  Also, categories improve SEO and might increase traffic to the site because it makes posts easier to find via organic or generic searches.  In other words, people may not do a Google search for Literacy Base (example of specific search term if you know what you’re looking for) because they have never heard of the site.  But they might search for Holidays (example of a general or organic or generic search term) because most people celebrate various holidays and in doing so, find blog posts published at Literacy Base.  Anyway … it was just a suggestion.  🙂

Extra appreciation for your good work?  I like that!  Congrats to you!  🙂

Hard to pin it down.  My thoughts are so random.  My mood may cause me to write something I had not planned.  Also I find stuff that I’ve written in my computer files that need an online home.  When that happens I write first, pick category later.
