@lovern after WIkinut went non-paying, even I wrote 2 or 3 articles but those were just to continue my viewership there, and I also used to share those on Tsu. Now I use my Wikinut articles, and I have refurbished and Re-written some of those here on LiteracyBase. Some people are still there since they really loved the site and have spare times…[Read more]
@peachpurple I feel its upto everyone what their choice is. Even when I have less time to spare, I prefer shorter stories and sometimes articles as compared to stories.

I have posted here short stories, I think 2 posts. I submitted 4 only 2 were approved.I really love to write short stories. When I was writing at wikinut, all my short stories were approved, but sad it shut down.Well anyway, I am glad it shut down for that is a very poor site. i prefer to read short stories compare to long stories.
I get a bad headache reading long stories.
Short stories help to take brief break, continue to read again, eager to know the next chapter
I had never wrote short stories since I am not a creative person.
Cely you are surely doing a great work and are a great inspiration to us.
So Carol you are into full time writing. Perhaps you can write some good story series here too.
I already had written 10 short stories and 700 poems all published in our regional magazine and the books sold in our schools. There will be happy feeling and lots of fun having much money profit from books. I am a member of NBDP in Philippines. I will be receiving royalty fee soon from the books on Police Reports Writing , Rizal Most Remembered…[Read more]

With me, I prefer long stories that are about 50,000 words or so. I like to delve into the characters and the plot to get the readers hooked on the story, leaving them wanting more.

One thing about me i don’t like hospitals they freak me out. so if there is anything that i can do to avoid going to the hospital i would do, but again we cannot predict what happens to our bodies. I have tried home remedies before and i found out that they actually work if used properly, and they are less harmful and without chemicals. I would…[Read more]

My first and latest relationship I have had is the same. It doesn’t change. It only improves and becomes even better. My wife and I had been married for 44 years. We had maintained our good relationship. We’re faithful to each other. Any misunderstanding between us, we settle it right away. We never sleep with our problem. We never harbor grudges…[Read more]

It’s funny how some kids call their parents by their names, i find that very weird, and to them they don’t feel like its a big deal. to me i feel like that is very disrespectful, but to me i call my mum momma or mummy my late dad i used to call him daddy and that felt good at all times. i think parents deserve to be given the respect that they deserve.

Hello everyone. I just joined Literacy Base yesterday. One reason I joined was because of earning money, but also to chat with other people. I’m still trying to learn the rules on the site and if anybody has any tips, I’d appreciate it.
