Well, it was just an observation since I never wrote anything below 500 words but I had one article without backlinks that got me only $0.08! Only after I tried putting in backlinks in ALL my articles, that’s when I noticed I earn at least $0.18 and mostly $0.22 each.

I submitted two sets of articles today again both with 500++ words and with backlinks. I’ll see how much I’ll earn for those 🙂 But if it’s not difficult to do (as you said), why not give it a shot on a personal post and see what will happen?

I tried doing it on one of my posts (after earning just $0.08 for some of my earlier submitted articles) and noticed it helped me to earn $0.22 for each. 🙂 I don’t know if it will guarantee but that was the “trend” I noticed with mine.

Have you tried adding anchor texts/backlinks to your articles? As you said so, you used keywords and highlighted them in bold font to help with SEO but have you thought of backlinking to a higher rated URL to help with ranking?

@swalia: I think the orange array thing is for notifications. Normally, we get a pop up message at the right corner of the screen for notifications but maybe, as a result of the maintenance, it is not working probably. I noticed that too and when I go to my profile’s notification, noticed that it coincides when somebody added me as a friend or mentioned me.

I would encourage to send a PM to support for your pending articles. That’s what I did after discovering the articles I wrote on Wednesday were still in pending yesterday. So I dropped a line to support yesterday and now all the articles were published. They said they had a backlog due to the maintenance activity done last week so they are still in the progress of catching up with work.

It was really shocking to hear about them breaking up but I am not surprised Taylor Swift moved on from the relationship already – she always does! I actually saw a funny meme in Facebook depicting Taylor Swift as the patron saint of moving on. LOL!

I don’t have an online shop but used a local free ads website to sell a few items. I sold my son’s barely used clothing and footwear and a couple of skincare items I am not yet using (but bought because it was on sale/cute, LOL!).

Wow, kudos to you guys for admitting and educating fellow members of this community about depression. It is a “curable”/manageable condition but only if you acknowledge you have it and accept the circumstances. Depression is deadly if the person keeps on living in denial about the situation and that is a lot harder to treat.

That said, I don’t think I have it but I have experienced going through bouts of sadness and brokenness as part of my journey in life. Failed relationships, frustration  – these are common triggers for me feeling down so I can’t imagine how it must’ve been for people suffering from depression.

I am not surprised they are offended by the show – I think there is a misconception with the show’s concept, to be honest. I am not a fan of it and I guess TV producers should start thinking about their next show seriously instead of bringing out yet another reality TV. I think we have had a little bit too much of it.

I just started working on the site so not anywhere near your earning guys 🙂 I am just happy to get started here to fill my “free hours” from my full-time work. I like working on sites like this instead of committing to freelance writing since my full-time work demand can spike any moment so I don’t want to stress out. Anyway, I am glad a good number of you will get paid next month. I am not sure if I will. Like everybody else, I don’t know how to earn at least $0.20 per article. I have no idea how it is based so I just have to keep posting and stay active when I can.

I guess I would’ve done something similar – maybe remove the cursing and shouting if it ever happened to me and I am in the mood to get in a “fight”, LOL! It is such a shame when simple things like falling in line is being ignored by people and for what? It is a very simple rule to follow and if we let one person ignore it, the tendency is that more people will!

I think the woman was right to call it off but I just hoped she stopped shouting when the man left to walk away. There’s really no need to curse and humiliate the man more.

Regarding the topic (OP), I still don’t understand how to earn “big” here but if it’s SEO-based, then a typical rant post would not cut it. Not unless you use keywords that are widely searched for in Google as part of your rant, then maybe you can demand for a higher rate?
