I agree with you, Peachpurple. Laziness is also a factor to our unhealthy body.
Sometimes, when I am lazy to cook my food, I can’t avoid buying foods outside. It’s good that some of the food courts in our place cook veggies for their customers.

the problem is, we love to eat food that taste delicious, refused to eat bland or raw food.
That is why we become obese or overweight as we eat.
Veggies are naturally raw and bland. It depends on what other ingredients you added and the seasoning to make vegetable taste better.
Home cooked food is healthier, so becoming lazy to cook is a huge…[Read more]
@Dawnwriter, You know what? I really admire how dicipline you, Muslims, when it comes to food you are eating.
Self-discipline is absolutely needed.
Hi, Deepak. You said it right. We sometimes or most of the time can’t control ourselves from eating what we wanted. In return, it will affect our health.

This is so true, the adage says a lot about us beings. You are truly what you eat. Its a pity that in my country being fat is a sign of good living as in wealth. If you are skinny, it means you are not eating well, sick or mainly poor. I have been slim all my life, exercise is not really my thing, but I try my hands on eating healthy. I could…[Read more]

Thanks for the inputs which it will be certainly difficult for the law enforcement agencies and societies to do the implemention as of now if there is a will it is possible to do that too. When humans do find it difficult to suffer at the hands of others why do they inflict pain on other living being on planet earth is a big…[Read more]

Thank you for highlighting the importance of not having heavy foods which contain oil and are very spicy as these foods take time to digest in the months of summer and make one feel stuffy which can well be avoided. Many of the people also have issues related to constipation which can also be cured by taking bananas and cucumbers…[Read more]

@krishnakumarks for stopping all this animal slaughter, large number of people will have to stop eating meat. Or else, meat production ought to be done of only dead animals, but I do not know if that meat can cause diseases. Or may be, only kill very old animals in a better way, may be by injection? Personally, though I am against such kind of a…[Read more]

Some of the ways diseases spread from the street food to us are as follows.
1) Unclean water being used for washing. Many times we find the same water being used to wash plates. Plates are used because it saves the shopkeeper the cost of buying paper plates which are costly.
2) Sometimes even these paper plates are of poor quality and m…[Read more]

Some very good summer food and drinks options, and keeping a light stomach is very important. Very oily, spicy food can cause adverse impact.

I agree with you as experience is the best teacher. Generally what we tend to do is whenever we face a problem we think of just overcoming the problem and move on. But many a times we fail to do the introspection which is necessary to avoid such situations in the future for a lifetime. Like in this case planning for the future. Unfortunately…[Read more]

I think I personally learned about those things using my experience. I had those problems. I used to stumble onto past for long. And I didn’t planned for future. So that’s how I got myself out of this negativity. Nobody helped me. Instead people around kept me into negativity and made fun of me. That being said, there are times when you have to…[Read more]

I think everything should be in moderation and we should have enough sense and self control to say no to those foods that are really bad for us.
Being a Muslim, certain foods are not permitted for us to eat and drink. Similarly when fasting we stay away from all food and drink from dawn to sunset even if we are preparing food or serving it to…[Read more]

What we eat affects our health, there is no doubt about it. Even if we know that certain things e.g. ice cream is not good for us, still we sometimes cannot control and eat it.
That’s right Tracy. Only few are conscious of their diets nowadays. If one will suffer from diseases like diabetes, cancer, and other severe illnesses or obesity, that is the only time they will check on the food they are ingesting.
Tracy replied to the topic "You are what you eat" in the forum Health Issues 7 years, 8 months ago
So true, the food produced now days is actually so unhealthy, but we normally just consume it without actually checking whats in it.
