@morgoodie I posted a link yesterday that has a whole month’s worth of challenges from @sandyks. I put it in a new thread in this forum 😀

@bestwriter/
yes I know.
I just noticed that nobody had inform admin and support about this person’s dirty tricks.
So, I put up this forum and at the same time, had informed support about it.
Glad that the forum had been removed.
Phew!
@swalia/
thanks goodness you had unfriend him.
@bestwriter My comment is apparently sitting in moderation. Hopefully it will come up soon….
Thanks so much, @bestwriter!
I’m looking forward to reading your post, Grace. I knew the flowers would appeal to you 🙂

@bestwriter Sometimes writing what we love pays off. I just published a post that I wrote for fun, and it earned the highest amount I’ve ever had here on LB:

It’s not as long as some that I’ve written, nor as informative. But I’m very pleased with the earnings 😀

@bestwriter, even I find the same problem everytime I click on the email I receive from this site. The site admin has to set it right. Not only this. There are several other problems too. I intend to bring out all those points in an article so as to highlight the problems faced by the members of this site.
@bestwriter I can identify with the time and effort you put into making the post special. I know that I often do the same.
When a post you worked hard on doesn’t pay off as well as you’d hoped, it feels like an even greater disappointment. But this too is part of the writing challenge. We must decide whether we are writing for fun, to develop a…[Read more]

@bestwriter, me too, I won’t post this week unless see my blogs approved.I still have 3 pending posts.
@bestwriter I had already decided to take time mostly for reading and sharing this weekend, but I think it’s good it coincided with the current period of slow approvals. I think maybe the staff were a little overwhelmed by too many posts at once. It’s good to back off a little until things are caught up.
I also wondered if we’d get less pay when…[Read more]

I haven’t been writing many blog posts. Usually I just write one or two in a day, and not everyday too. So, I haven’t really encounter the older posts haven’t been approved yet, as previously the posts are always approved and published within 24 hours. I think by submitting one or two per day is still fine for me.
I just read another thread, it…[Read more]

yes, I know and understood that once I had submitted the post, awaiting for approval, I can’t edit it anymore. I was hoping to be able to edit it before it was published, not possible I guess.
I had tried saving in draft a few times. The downside is I cannot edit the draft at all and not visible, can’t click it.
I had to re write…[Read more]

yeah not all posts, we will be paid 22 cents for 500 words
I find that there must be that SEO stuff that we have to try to embedded into our head when writing.
I found your post is more related to review, you should get 24-26 cents , not 22 cents
Thank you for being big heart for accepting comments.
peachpurple replied to the topic Putting a brake on blogs posting in the forum About LiteracyBase 8 years, 5 months ago
honestly, I do noticed lots of writer had been complaining of the pending posts and also the low rates.
Hence, I always write 2 posts per day, never 3 posts.
Yes, I waited for 24 hours, at least one day, and am glad that I get 22 cents or 24 cents per post for 500 words.
I believed that too many blogs posted will consume more time…[Read more]
Kyla Matton Osborne (Ruby3881) replied to the topic Blurry Images on Some LiteracyBase Posts in the forum About LiteracyBase 8 years, 5 months ago
@bestwriter You say you have no problem giving credit for your images, but my question to you would be why do you feel the need to hide those image credits where most readers won’t see them?
If I were to quote from your work, I would put the mention in plain text where my readers would see it. It may not be a legal requirement that the credit be…[Read more]
@bestwriter Staff recommends 750 x 750 px for the additional images, but then these images are forced into 150 x 150 px upon upload. I have stopped adding inline photos while staff works on this issue.
As for where a credit is supplied, I couldn’t tell you for sure if a “hidden” credit is acceptable for Creative Commons. But it does seem like the…[Read more]

@bestwriter That’s a good question.
I always thought that section is updated automatically according to some calculation, but I didn’t realize some members are actually not active at all. I wonder what the differences are between active members and popular members. Perhaps popular members get more points from others, and active members have more…[Read more]

@bestwriter I suspect that at least in part, it is an automated process that is included with the website theme. It places a great deal of weight on how many other users the individual has friended. I don’t put much stock in it.
I suspect the popular posts algorithm is more reliable, though even there I have to wonder why it never seems to change much.

The suggestion by @bestwriter are the best. I would like to add one more.
@support
How about hinting posts by authors? Suppose we want to look at a post written by a specific member, we have to follow today a complicated process.
Right now, this website is new but in future, as it grows and more members come, it is almost difficult to check…[Read more]

@peachpurple If you save your draft, you will not be able to get into it to continue. This has happened to me the first post I was writing. Wish I would have known before I did that.
@bestwriter These are great points about what would be nice to have on this site. I would also like to be able to know when people comment on our posts just l…[Read more]
I was wondering whether we could write our post and save as Draft since the Draft button is there.
If it is not applicable for newbie, then at what stage it is considered as allowed?
How about edit our post while awaiting for approval?
How about edit our post after approval and published for spelling mistakes?
