This is not rare for there are couples who are celebrating their birthday together for they’re born in the same month and date. And there are many married couples holding this birthday.
I don’t know if…[Read more]

Today June 14th is Flag Day here in the U.S. People in the U.S. celebrate by proudly flying their flags and even having celebrations.
Flag Day all started by a school teacher in Wisconsin had her class honor the flag resolution in 1777. Then Presidents got involved and finally in 1949 it was designated, June 14th as a holiday!!

It was on June 12, 1898, when our country the Philippines was liberated from the 33 years of government under the regime of the Spanish Government through the battle fought by the Katipuneros, the local insurgents, organized by Andres Bonifacio who was incited by the works and writings of Jose Rizal, our national hero. @grecy Yes that is the way it is supposed to be. The saying goes it is better to give than receive. But still it is nice to know that one is appreciated for all that you do for others. Of course, if there were more people like you in the world maybe it would be a better place. I like making cakes for people on their birthday and of course I…[Read more]

@morgoodie/
it is fun to have a party and feel loved when someone buys a cake on your birthday, isn’t it?

hahaha @peachpurple sis I get used to not having cake, the truth is, when I am having birthday, there is no cake coming from family and relative. Before, if I have spare money I will buy a cake for me, but since I am saving money, I don’t care about cakes anymore but I make sure that when someone from the family is celebrating their birthday, I…[Read more]
Every family does something different on birthdays. In my house, I will make a cake and decorate it for the person who is having a birthday such as my kids or my sister. I will buy my kids gifts for them and my sister gives them the choice of restaurant to go to and a fun place to go such as bowling, roller skating, or a movie. This kids love…[Read more]
@grecy095/
why sis?
Why did you say “maybe this year because for sure I will not have a cake again”?
Something happened?
Nobody celebrates for you, I will celebrate for you this coming birthday of yours.
Don’t feel down.
Try this year, buy a cake and chow down the whole cake.
I want to do that too if I could.

@peachpurple, we do not do the same way your country does whenever there is a birthday celebrant. At home, we just prepare something to share by family members like: moist cake, ice cream, fried chicken, beef relleno, escabeche, chicken macaroni, fruit salad, different fruits , drinks, and many others. We are sharing the expense at home. July 4 is…[Read more]

I have a pet cat and yesterday, she delivered her kittens three of them delivered healthy. I am so shocked to see her kittens eyes closed but kept on meowing. I fed their mom so she could produce more milk.

@nakitakona13 we can hug our cats everyday, regardless they want it or not, hahaha. I do it all the time when I see them. I start hugging that cat that really hates me, that is Berto and then the other male cats that are in the house and the female cats after them. Of course, the kittens has a special hug for me.
Hugging your cats should be done…[Read more]
For me, cake is very special, it should be given by the people you love, but it is not bad to chow down a cake, blow the candle all by myself and celebrating alone, lol. However, I never done that, maybe this year because for sure I will not have a cake again. @peachpurple
