Is the Computer Age bad to our modern […]

    • You said that the effect of computer age won’t backfire. I don’t think so. The unprecedented advancement of technology would in any time or era would manifest its defectiveness or shortcomings that would certain wreak havoc for all mankind. It couldn’t be denied anymore the cyber bullying, the intrusion of hackers to personal or confidential data for a money or for a nebulous purpose. We are afraid that the war would be handled by a “push button” strategy through computerization.

    • i dont like smoking but to be honest there are other type like shisha, its awesome, but it does do bad to your body, so i am against smoking but from time to time is fine, because smoking is addict and its not fair to make people stop it only because you dont like ,it buy needs to make it limited for respecting other people around you, i think its good that there are places for non smokers and area for smokers too, so the balance is there and no body is forced in anything

    • Congrats for that victory over a deadly vice, smoking! It is not only dangerous to the smoker himself, but to people around him who can inhale the smoke; they are called second-hand smoker which health experts say is more affected by that smoke.

I hate the smell of cigarettes too, because I know it is very dangerous to our health, especially to women. It is right that the government is banning smoking in enclosed establishments and other public areas.

    • It is saddening that there are people in the world who could hardly have the necessities in life: food, clothing and shelter. What could their government been doing to alleviate the problem. Hopefully the United Nations or other rich countries will reach out to these poor people.

    • Yes you are right. It is really heart-breaking that there are so many people in other parts of the world that die from the absence of food, medicines and other basic necessities of life.

It’s really very ironic that in some highly develop countries; there are so many surplus foods, clothing and other basic necessities.

So many people in the develop countries spend most of their money only for luxury goods or items, when in fact half of the world population are living in want and poverty.

There are so many factors, both man-made and otherwise, for us to understand why poverty is rampant in these countries in Africa.

There is the level of economic development, the current system of their government, graft and corruptions among its officials, the fact that most of these countries were colonies or has been colonized by foreign powers, its natural resources as well.

Yes, there must be concerted efforts on the part of their respective government, other foreign government and other international organization such as the United Nations and the International Red Cross in order to alleviate their plight and present conditions.

What is needed I think is political will to make it happen.
