Indeed, we are after so many things that we are failing to appreciate the goodness around us. However, things are becoming quite tough for all of us in many ways and general trust and humane attitude are going down. I visualize a much more grim future for all of the human race, even if on face, I show a lot of positive attitude.

Jennifer Dombrowski – I would probably borrow from King Solomon: “There’s nothing new under the sun”. Actually I would not use the phrase “today’s world” at all. But that’s just me. 🙂 In my mind Krishna’s thought is complete with this minor edit.
But in today’s world People are unfortunately more interested to pull the carpet from the o…

@treathylFOX I agree with you the term Today’s world has been with us since the earliest of times.I would be interested in what term would you use in place of “Today’s World” in modern day 2017? But admit I find myself saying in today’s world with things like in today’s world everybody is obsessed with their smartphones. I would like to know h…[Read more]
Thanks. Appreciate your remarks only I disagree with you on one point. What you refer to as “today’s world”? That attitude has been around since Cain and Abel. Humanity has been on that “path” for a very long time!

A nice quote from a great personality who would not want to be above another of his own kind nor would want to look down upon some one and would wanted all to be treated as equals. In principle and spirit this is good and that is what we should be aspiring for. But in today’s world people are unfortunately more interested to pull the carpet from…[Read more]

Well said. I totally agree with your thoughts on the above topic. I think the seeds for this thought started with invention of money and the dying of barter system. Situations change and times change so people found out in difficult times they are having shortage of cash for their needs and some other were greedy and wanted to hoard more money…[Read more]

My dad used to like eggplant so much. He used to have it cooked in meat dishes. He could even eat them without meat. For me i used to find them very yucky, i didn’t like them. I can stand the taste of cucumber but not the taste of egg plants. They taste soggy to me. I didn’t know however that they lower the blood pressure. Thanks cely for that thought.
