Majority of people around the world watch Youtube videos for different purposes.

Searching for your answers in Youtube is possible if you had key in the right keywords for the videos.

In addition the video titles had to have a Killer Title that attracts a vast of viewers over the net.

Korean dramas, variety shows and movies plus Kpop Music Banks are highly sought in Youtube.

However, I prefer to search for solutions to my technical problems at Youtube.

for example when my printer isn’t listening at all, which I almost threw it out into the bin, Youtube videos on how to fix the Error problems had helped me out.

I had saved my printer and saved money from seeking computer repair shop.

So, why do you watch Youtube videos?

@peachpurple Call me selfish but I do not go to YouTube unless I want to learn something new or I can’t find somewhere else in practical. I find that YouTube has an answer to all your problems.

I go to YouTube to learn and to give knowledge. Useful things are highly appreciated so it is nice when you see some comments and views on your work.

@peachpurple I don’t visit youtube too often mainly because the videos consume too much internet speed. I am already paying huge bill for limited high speed internet and watching videos on youtube would mean consuming the data. However sometimes I indulge in watching videos on internet. I generally watch discourses from my spiritual master on internet.

On the killer title part, I can’t take when the YouTube uploader started to put a misleading title just to be able for someone to click on their videos. I am a watcher of YouTube. In fact, while reviewing calls, I have YouTube on the other tab. I am watching some movies that I know but it has no sound. I just want to view what is happening for me not to fall asleep while reviewing.

I appreciate YouTube because I get to watch some movies and series that I failed to watch. Although I can download it, but my internet will take me forever to have it downloaded. I love that YouTube has some ready videos there.

I also love watching makeup tutorials and positive affirmation videos. I am thankful for this site for coming in the internet. It is brilliant.

@sunil/

AH…. you are not alone, most of us would rather not to watch Youtube unless for a good reason, SOLUTIONS, that we can save money from going to technicians.

@swalia/

oh your internet line is different. Is it a prepaid line or postpaid line?

Here, we have numerous line that can get you to go online,

The one you had mentioned is the prepaid line where you pay a monthly internet fee, given 4GB of usage, if you overuse it, your speed will slow down like a snail.

@grecy095/

me too, the killer title sometimes are misleading, you don’t get to watch the videos you wanted.

Instead, it will lead you to another link which may invite virus to your laptop.

I prefer to watch Youtube for korean dramas and DIY fix problems to computer stuff.

@peachpurple Yeah, I am using one of those. I have 15GB 4G data plan but it hardly lasts me three weeks and then the internet is so damn slow that I can hardly work online unless I get a top up and buy another 3-4 GB. This is the reason why I avoid watching youtube videos. Other reason is that I don’t have the patience to sit in front of the laptop and watch videos.

@swalia I sometimes watch Youtube videos while reviewing calls, but I know there are lots of data it eats so I do not do it during the week days, but I do it on the weekends, lol, to keep me awake for whole evening till morning. My internet provider is discouraging using or watching at Youtube to save the GB of the internet.

@ Grecy Garcia you are really good at multi tasking. I would never be able to review calls while watching videos.

I do not watch Youtube very much unless I want to see a music video or something. I find it annoying to go on there and search for things. I will watch a tutorial if it is one that someone recommended to me. I just do not seem to have time to watch videos right now and just keep focused on working to earn money.

Ever since I started to learn knitting or crocheting a few years ago, Youtube is one of the best resources for me to learn. We can find many good video tutorials online, and we can learn how to do those handwork step by step, slowly. If I have missed out any step, I just need to scroll back and watch again. That’s how I learned knitting and crocheting.

Besides handwork, sometimes I would refer to youtube for how to cook or bake certain food too. Though I always refer to the recipes online, sometimes learning from the video tutorials seem to be easier for beginners.

I also watch some webinars about parenting or kids education from youtube if they were uploaded there. Besides youtube, some good webinars are hosted in vimeo as well.

I used to watch music videos or some short videos/entertainment programs from youtube before I have my children, now it seems like I am too busy to watch those entertaining videos but just focus more on learning video tutorials now.

@kaka135/

you know, my 9 year old son started to learn drawing cartoons after he watched cartoon videos on Youtube.

He can draw Zombies, stickman and all those funny looking cartoon that he created himself.

Now, he is learning to play Ukelele while watching videos, teaching him to play from the basic.

Youtube videos are educational too and FREE, don’t have to sign up classes for these talents

Right now I am watching some old Filipino movies entitled Friends in Love. I haven’t seen this video and I am very interested with how the story will turn out. I decided to pause because I remember I was posting in here and I get back in here.

I am glad there is YouTube, now I able to watch movies I missed, movies from the past. It is really good for educational purposes as it provides stories from the past, talking about being historical.
