Writing Stories
Many people write stories. Their subjects are very different: beauty, life in the future, love, romantic encounters, bad break-ups, stories which that are close to their lives, horror, funny stories.
I like writing short stories. What about you? Have you ever written a story?
What kind of stories you prefer to write- long or short and why?

I write whatever comes into my mind. There’s a lot of document files in my laptop; most of them are stories that I have thought of.

Yes @superd for fictional stories we need to plan a lot. |

I usually write a short story. It is 500 words or 1,000 words in every story. That is the usual number of words I maintain in writing a short story. I could even write more than that. It depends on me on how I develop the plot. Actually, in writing a short story, I observe the following parts: the setting, the characters, the plot, and the intriguing ending of the story. The story is more readable if you know how to play with words, on how you know how to twist the plot beyond the expectation of the reader. |

Yes writing a short story needs planning, going into character profiling, climax visualisation. Bigger stories need it at a larger scale. |
