@Shavkat, When we were young, we do not know God. Yes, when I was a child all I knew were toys, nice dresses, do not know God.In fact, I did not know how to pray when I was so young in the momentary and high school.I only have a very harmonious encounter with the Lord when I was a teenager , that time I was in college. My ex boyfriend was a very religious guy. We always go to church and pray almost everyday. He was also a Black belter hehehehe. We were not meant to each other for I was so dry in dealing with my relationship with him I was told by my friend, that I did love the man.It might be and I do not know why.We were in a relationship for 3 years. Maybe I am not destined to marry,LOL.

In relation to your declaration, yes you are right, as years go by, we would know better about how God is important to our lives. We feel nothing without God. Thanks  for sharing my fiend,Have a very Merry Christmas.

Again my comment has been deleted, I have a feeling someone does not like their precious faith questioned, which points to how insecure they are about their belief and how many people are unable to defend the many errors, inconsistencies and contradictions that are apparent in the bible. We as a society must make it acceptable to question and ridicule peoples religious beliefs. We afford this to everything else, why not afford it to religion as well. I will repeat what i said in my previous comment that was deleted. People in the future will laugh at the childish beliefs that religious people today have in the same way that people laugh at the people of the pasts belief in Zeus. Many gods have been invented by human kind over the course of history, what makes the current ones any more plausible than those of the past.

@lovern Let me think.lol Well, I must admit I didn’t memorize the mysteries of the rosary. That’s the reason why I need a copy of how to pray the rosary prior to uttering the prayers. I am not also saying that being religious should always go to the church. In my heart, God is always there and pray wherever I go. I am sure my granny will always keep on saying to bring with me the rosary and pray everyday. I routinely do it.

Wow, cely, I would never think you would post a picture that belonged to the Illuminati and pass it off as a “Christian” photo (the one with the eye in the triangle). I have respect for people and whatever religion they choose to follow.  If they want to believe in God then let them. What I don’t like is when people force others to conform to their way of thinking either through prayer or whatever. This includes so-called Christians. I grew up in a Southern Baptist home so I know the bible like the back of my hand. I have questioned the bible since I was a teenager and was told by people at my church that other religions were evil. Since then I have stopped going to church and I do not force my kids to go. Forcing a child to do something is just another way of brainwashing them into indoctrination. Let a child decide what he or she wants to do.

Many Christians do not even follow what is written in the bible but yet want to talk down on other religions like Islam. People say that Christians have changed with time but yet don’t follow their own book. They follow what they want to. Being gay is a sin but you will hear a lot of people say oh but its okay. Divorce is a sin but people still do that. Women are supposed to have their heads covered, how many Christians do you see do this besides the Nuns? But it’s not okay for Muslims to do it.

Religion, no matter what name it follows is just a man made up way of having people believe in something in order to control them. I’m sorry but I believe you can have faith in god without having religion or some book that tells you what to do.

@Shavkat, hehehe really?Actually, I also do not memorize the rosary or seldom do the rosary, but I always pray hour after hour and talk to God oftentimes. My sister feel bad at me sometimes for I seldom pay the rosary.

Yes, you are right, going to church does not bring us to paradise, but during Sunday we have to , you know that day is for the Lord. If you miss a Sunday, you can have any day of the week.By the way, I am so sure your grandmom surely understands you hehehehe for usually females do the rosary.

Thank you freind and have a very Merry Christmas to you and your family.

@evilelf, hi friend? How have you been? Long time no hear from you. Merry Christmas to you and your family. I am so sorry for the experience you had that turned your head towards no to religion. Actually, RC is my second religion for I entered the convent. My previous religion was based in the Philippines, but almost the same as Roman Catholic.

I entered the convent after I graduated in high school. I was the only young aspirant that time. I was accepted because of my grades in high school all line of 9 like 95,97,98 and so n ans so forth. My Mathematics is always a flat 1.0 ever since. My favorite subjects are those with figures and complications like Trigonometry, Chemistry,Physics , Calculus. They are the reasons why I have a very strong personality .Yes, I can travel alone. All my first travels local, national and internal were solo alone travels. These figures were my solid foundation that formed my life and my belief. Yes, I need a religion in my life. That is what I want to associate with people.I love people. I like to serve.Since high school up to now I am a leader.

I am a life time member of YMCA International, Y’s men;s club international, president ROTARACT Club during college and many more clubs and associations. Most of the members and officers are religious, with religion with GOD.

Yes, you are right, we have the right to choose our freedom like freedom to have no religion.Anyway, God said, I am going to judge you according to your deeds , not religion.

Have a very Merry Christmas

@lovern I don’t usually argue with granny about it. She even gave me a rosary as a gift. I am not sure how to react. In person, I am a funny guy. I guess I got it from my father’s clan. The reason why there is no argument with my lovely granny because she is running to 99 next year. We are hoping that she can live longer and enjoy the lives of being contented with the family. In fact, she traveled from the province to stay with us and celebrate Christmas Eve. Merry Christmas to you my friend! 🙂

@Shavkat, wow, 99 years old and could still travel place to place hehehehe. That is the secret of being prayerful. That is the reason why he wants you to do the rosary because she knows her secret and that is to live too long. Your grandmom i s the living witness of a strong faith that leads to longer life.

In your feeling and opinion, do you also want to reach 100 years old? For me that is too long unless, there is someone close to me to take care of me. What if I remain single hahahahaha, no one will take care of me during old age, unless pay a helper or give a relative inheritance, what if nothing to inherit, so I may not reach 100 hehehe, too long age. Share us here your photo with your granny.

By the way, your friends might always have fun with you for you said you have sense of humor. That is a very nice attitude only few is having that.Cheers!!!

@lovern She spends Christmas with us this year. As of this day, she’s on travel to Manila. She will celebrate New Year’s Eve with my aunt’s family.

I am not sure if I could reach such an age. My father died at a young age 65. If ever, I wouldn’t like to reach 100 years of my life. lol I don’t know what’s the future hold us. But I will live to the fullest. I wanted to be with my family and everything should be in right places before leaving them in the future.

@Shavkat, hehehehe, 100 years is closer to your grand mom’s age, and it is not possible that you can reach more  than that hehehe for you do not smoke and drink hard liquor, do you? Why did your father die at that young age? My father died at age 81 and he was so desirous to reach age 100, but he was sick of cancer of the large intestine. The cause of this BIC of his intestine was his late meals. He was once an official in the military and dispatched anywhere , so they experienced hunger. That is why, I pity the military men during the past administrations for they had very small salary and their job is not easy, day and night service to the nation.

This month is declared by the Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte Bible Month and at the end of the month of January, it is declared Bible Week. Happy reading of the Bible guys. In the faculty office, I read some verses in the Bible to renew me.Sometimes we cannot avoid to commit mistakes, simple, we are just humans weak, but we have to seek forgiveness to our sins so we will have peace of mind and heart. We always carry the guilt of our sins once we do not conceal our sins to our God. He is always ready to pardon us if we will only repent and never do the same mistakes again, If commit the same mistakes, we might be called insanes for we still continue doing the same mistakes.

Reading the Bible cleanses my soul. Please if you do not believe in Christ, do not participate and show your arrogance for we all have freedom of religion. if you do not have religion and God in your life, please just mind your own business for never can you kill my dreams and kill my, love for the only savior on earth, .. and God aid, He owns the earth. Do not forget, we are just humans and without God, we are nothing. To God be the glory. Amen.
